I love the fit. It's really comfortable and washed well. Not linty at all. I'm going to get another one.

Soft and cozy, perfect for those cold nights. I love the flannel, laundered well, but be sure to launder before wearing it as it sheds a lot initially.

All I can say about this nightgown is that it is FANTASTIC. Soft and warm while free-flowing with room to move. No issues sleeping. I didn't get caught up in the extra material when I turned over while sleeping. When awake, plenty of room to walk. I'll probably match this with some capri leggings to keep out draftiness around my legs. While I'm on the couch, I just wrap the extra material around my legs like I blanket. I love how the gown makes be feel like I should be in 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. I would like a matching cap, come to think of it.

I've bought these for a few years, mostly because they accommodate me in the fetal position LOL and reach to my ankles. I appreciate the generous folds of the style and the warmth it provides from the neck down - no fancy scoop neckline to let the cold air in. I echo another review, though, that I'd like to see something other than the ever-present plaid. But nothing else comes close in comfort.

Scottish plaid flannel nightgowns are definitely best for cold nights. You'll be warm and cozy!

I have loved LL Bean gowns for years ! The flannel is so soft and substantial, and the gowns come in wonderful plaid offerings. Also very much appreciate the *quality design & classic tailoring* (tucking - front & back !). These gowns are truly in a category all their own. However, one bit of advice : They sell out quickly, so would recommend that you buy early in the season. My thanks to LL Bean for this fine product, and for continuing to offer these gowns !!*!!

Love LLBean flannel. It's so cozy. This gown did not shrink at all in the wash and dry. Yes, there was some lint, but it's flannel. Great quality.

This soft and the flannel is not too thick. I got the XL (I'm a size 12) and it runs a tad small, I expect it will shrink a bit. I love the pockets and long length - I am tall 5'9" so might be too long for some.

Best nightgown ever, third in 15 year! Soft and warm, lots of layers can be added underneath.

I could not love this more! Great quality and it is so soft. The black and red plaid is exactly what I've been looking for. I love the length of the gown and the sleeves. Very roomy and has pockets! I expect I'm going to be very cozy this winter. Bring on the snow!

Don't want to take it off. I purchased another one. Washed and dried on low for ten minutes and then hung to dry. Minimal shrinkage.

Love this long nightgown/lounger! It's so soft and warm. I'm 5'1" and the Petite was the perfect length including the sleeves. It's full enough that I can draw my legs up in the recliner and tuck it in around my legs! Cozy warm with a cup of hot coffee. I added "lounger" because it has pockets. Love pockets! The only thing I wish was different is the tag at the back. It's a little scratchy and will have to come off. That's an easy fix. But I would suggest they make it tagless!

The quality, etc. is great, but it is way too big. I am keeping it because it won't be seen in public.

when I order clothing from LLB I never am concerned about fit; the item will be true to description of color, size, length, etc. If there is ever a surprise, it is that the item is even better than described!

It is the most comfy and warm nightgown I have ever owned. My daughter told me she and my grandaughter had one for years and they just don't wear out. Well worth the price.
