I purchased the regular xs, and the length is short even before washing it. After washing it (per instructions) it's even shorter. I had purchased both Xs and small online but the small was way too baggy to keep. At a hair under 5'4", I can't imagine how short this would be on someone of average height. The length does not match the image on the model. It's really cute but doesn't hit your actual hip measurements.

I find that most of LL Beans clothes say slightly fitted that is why I ordered a 1x. II normally wear a large or extra large I wanted it to be roomy. I was very disappointed. Although I can wear it I don't like that is so snug in the butt. It rides up and so am constantly pulling it down.

I was impressed with the heavier weight of the fabric (compared to wimpy french terry "sweats"). And the "quilted" pattern gives it a special "pop". HOWEVER, I was not happy with the dull, dead-looking green color! It's winter and I want something more cheerful -- like a brighter kiwi green or avocado or blueish-green or ivy green or sap green or. . . . . So sadly I returned it.

I bought it just over a year ago and did not put it in the dryer when I first washed it. I have enjoyed wearing it warm, fluffy, and nice-lookingbut just had to wash it, threw it in the dryer without thinking, and now it's uncomfortably tight.

Sad to say that I have to "good will" this sweatshirt after about a year of wear. It just did not hold up well over time. The quilted fabric is easily pierced and (even in a lingerie bag and hanging to dry) has tons of little holes all over the front. Stitching is coming undone at shoulders. Sweatshirt looks "rugged" but even when handled with care is not durable.

Soft, attractive fabric. Ribbed cuffs are very large and do not follow with the smaller fit of the sleeve around the arm. 3x should allow for me to wear a t-shirt underneath but does not do so comfortably. This is not a good fit for me.

This is an okay sweatshirt. I purchased in blue, its already a faded color, and proving to fade further in the wash. I got in on sale for $70, and even that price seems steep for the quality. I never have left an average review on LL Bean, but unfortunately this product has earned it.

The quilted fabric and the knit fabric need to be the same weight fabrics, in my opinion. The pullover just didn't hang right or something! The length of the pullover, sleeves and other parts were a good fit. The two fabrics not to my liking.

I am a true 18 in shirts and tops.. the XL is listed as an 18/20. I found that it ran tight across the shoulders and it was very fitted. I am returning both tops because of how small they ran. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because the material was a very nice quality..

I have this in several colors, I love it so much. However, I do not recommend the green color. I first bought the green last winter, but the color bleached around the collar. I assumed it was my fault, so I repurchased in green during another sale. Sadly, the same thing happened to my second one! My others are fine (I also have blue, gray, and maroon). I'm sad about the green, because it was a nice color, but now I have two ruined green tops.

I was looking for a cute sweatshirt style top to wear on a northern climate summer vacation. I ordered this on 1/22 and received in late May. Is this really in that much demand? I ordered my regular LL bean size of a Medium and it is too snug in the bustling. The waist is also a tad snug. I am considering ordering a large, but I am torn because of the other reviewers stating that it shrinks in the laundry and is too shortlisted.

I loved this sweatshirt when it arrived and it fit perfectly, but it shrunk after washing it (in cold water, dryer set to low). Now is a bit too short and looks weird. Super bummed.

I really wanted to love this. I purchased it in both a L and an XL in Fig (the color is beautiful!), because I wasn't sure how it fit. I am usually a size 12 or a L. That being said, the XL was definitely too big, but the L felt too short. I think if it was offered in tall sizes, it would be perfect. Also, the bottom band kind of stuck out weirdly - it was a little stiff. I'm still undecided if I am going to keep the L or return it, but the XL is definitely going back.

I love the way this looked online but sadly had to return. I am big chested and have hips and this made me look pregnant. I ordered a size up b/c I usually do in sweaters but sadly had to return this. If they made a tall version of this I would have purchased it. I ordered the red color and it's a more maroon color.

I really wanted to love this but the fit is nothing like what's shown on the model. It's not as long or as fitted, the band on the bottom is flared out rather than being snug as shown. Also as I mentioned this is probably at least 2 inches shorter than it looks on the model.
I love this design and it's so much nicer than a plain old sweatshirt but it needs work. If it fit like the picture, 5 stars for sure.

Originally got a medium but exchanged it for a large so I can wear it as an outdoor sweatshirt with something underneath . The green is a beautiful color and the style is great. However for the price the tiny LL Bean logo tag and zipper pull should have been leather instead of plastic. Would have been so much classier.

Positive:
This is a very warm pullover.
Could use improvements:
I normally wear an XS in most tops. I bought an XS after reading reviews and noticing that the model's pullover was slightly baggy. The arm and waist length is short on me (I'm 5' 8"). The cuffs and waistband stretched out and fit more like a loose shirt than a pullover. I'll still wear it around the house, but it's not something I'm comfortable wearing hiking or to soccer games.

I also have this in the olive green and i was excited when they released some new colors. I ordered this in Fig, which on the website it appears to be a reddish color. I was a little disappointed when i received my order and it is actually much more purple than i was expecting.

I recently purchased sweatshirt and washed it on gentle after wearing. It came out with two tiny holes near the zipper. This is really disappointing especially considering the price. The light blue is very nice but the petite is still too long.

Bought this pullover slightly over a year ago. It was only worn during the late fall, winter, and early spring (in total prob worn about 6-7 weeks during that period). Despite not being very old, it is fraying around the kangaroo pocket. This item was washed in cold water on delicate and air dried. Unfortunately, this is not the 1st item I have bought from llbean recently that failed/fell apart quickly. Will no longer be purchasing from llbean since quality has dropped so much. Of course, this item is falling apart just past the warranty is over.

This was one of my favorites but when I went to wear recently I noticed 2 tears in the quilted area over the pocket. I am careful with my clothes so this was not normal wear and tear. I stopped buying tops from another company because of poor quality and am very disappointed in LL B now too. Would love to buy again but given the price and quality I definitely have second thoughts

I thought llbean was the best quality and since I had bought this particular garment before I didnt check but it is the same price for cheaper fabric. I loved llbean for their continued use of 100% cotton. I am sad that I was duped. By body does not agree with plastic fabric

I received this pullover for Christmas size 14-16 .this article runs smai ll.
I would size up. My regular size with lllbean is size 14-16. Because I don't want anything to tight. Disappointed in the product.

Loved the color and the style! The fit was off. It was more like a tall regular than a petite.
It was long in body and in the arms. I prefer cotton fabric. This was a combination fabric
It was clingy with little give. In my opinion, not for Petites. Perhaps it was mis-sized.

I recently purchased this in a beautiful soft rose color, and I was initially thrilled with it. The shade is absolutely stunning, adding a lovely pop to my wardrobe. The fabric feels soft against the skin and I love the quilting. Great layering piece.
However, I faced a major disappointment with the material quality. After wearing it just once, during a typical day of grocery shopping and a morning walk,I encountered a large snag and two holes that ruined the front of the sweatshirt. I would expect a sweatshirt to withstand normal daily activities, but this one simply did not hold up.
If the material were of better quality, I would wholeheartedly endorse this product. Unfortunately, given how quickly it became damaged after minimal wear, I can't recommend it. I'm genuinely sad about it, because I barely got to enjoy this pretty sweatshirt for more than five hours before it was essentially ruined. It's a beautiful piece, but the lack of durability is a significant flaw.
