It ripped the second time I wore it. The fit was great so I would love to wear it but I don't think the quality is there.

Boxy fit, unflattering for a person with a slender build. Would have returned but I had already taken the tags off

Had to return this sweater.I ordered my usual size BUT this one was much too large!

I love you LL Bean, but you need to retire this pullover. It looks great, fits well, but the fabric is very poor quality. I purchased two of these and they both already have holes after only a handful of wears. I deeply regret this purchase.

I returned this item. Although the petite small was a good fit in the chest and shoulders, the abdominal area was made to fit a pregnant woman. It was unflattering.

This is the third time ordered with a missing zipper pull. I give up. It's pretty obvious and unacceptable. It is so sad as I kept thinking it was just a one off occurance, but I tried 3 times. That is unfortunate and a waste of time.

I have ordered the same item twice now and it has no zipper pull. I will try a third time as this is a gift my daughter chose. She is tall, so we are at the mercy of LLBean for size. However, it seems like this is an obvious thing to miss as it is in front in plain view. It is not practical to keep without a makeshift paperclip. It seems LLBean has little to no quality control. This is disappointing as the past purchases have been outstanding. I am giving it a poor rating due to the inconvenience and trouble, also as I could not ship it to my daughter on time with other items to Japan. Sad.

Fabric stiffer than expected. I returned it for a refund.

Within the first week I notice holes we're starting to appear in the quilted clothe. The pocket and zipper were unraveling. And I don't have pets so claw holes into it. It's a cheap product. You'll get a handful of uses out of it and then it'll just become a lounge sweatshirt that you'll throw away within a year of purchases. When I think of quilted material, I think thick and sturdy. This is thin, flimsy, and cheap. Why spend 80 for the LLbean label.

Was not very thick and I'm very petite and even that size was huge on me

I recently got a similar Navy pull over (non quilted) and have been so in love I needed another for the colder weather. I was sooo excited fro this purchase. Unfortunately just able anything that touches it transfers color and its super bulky / unflattering throughout the waste, unlike the other pullover that I ordered same size which is great. I recently probably ran it through three cold cycles just trying to get the random color transfers that happy through the day during one wear. Super bummed as it wasnt the cheapest.

Bought this for my wife for Xmas 2020. By 2/2021 area around the stomach has frayed and there were even holes forming. Took in to store to see what could be done, and sales rep said it looked like pet damage and not a factory defect. I assured him it was not, but got nowhere. Getting a little tired of LL Bean products falling apart and the company giving me a hard time about returns/exchanges. Maybe it's just the Park Meadows store in Colorado. I've been a loyal customer since late 90's, thinking of throwing in the towel.

I received this sweatshirt as a gift and loved it initially, despite the fact that it was a bit tight in the shoulders. After a few washes the sleeves are more than an inch shorter than they were when I got it and the item is too small all around. I am returning it.

While this sweater is a bit larger than a true Large, I kept it and enjoyed wearing it. However, the fabric quality is poor. Another reviewer posted pictures of how the fabric simply tears in all areas of 'stress' (seams, etc), which are numerous given the quilting and overall construction of the garment. As much as I like the style, I cannot recommend it.

I love this pullover and am only giving it one star because the quality is so poor. I saw in other reviews that the outer fabric wore quickly, so I have been careful to turn it inside out and wash on a gentle cycle. I have had this item for less than a month and worn/washed it *maybe* 3 times, and already there is a hole in the fabric below the zipper pull. So disappointed, and annoyed that I would have to jump through so many hoops to receive a refund for this item I paid $60 for! Avoid unless you're going for a tattered look.

Quilted fabric has started to fall apart. I have never seen this happen before and I am very disappointed in the quality, especially because it is very comfortable and I would love to wear it more.

I absolutely adored this when I first received this quilted quarter zip. I ordered the light gray and after one wash it was completely ruined. The fabric showed random shades of orange throughout the item. We do not share our washer nor do we use any form of bleach. Disappointed in the quality of this item.

Its a nice sweater with the waffle pattern but now that I've owned 3 of them over the past 2 years they all have holes in them and are falling apart. I've had older sweaters that have held up longer. I think the material they use is too thin. Its a very expensive sweater to fall apart this soon. I wont buy again.

I have always loved everything that I purchased so it was very disappointed in this item. It's fit is boxy and it has no stretch in the fabric so the look it not flattering. I've washed it several times hoping for a better fit but it still looks square. I'm sorry- I wanted to love it

Looking at reviews and size chart, I decided to go with a small so I could have enough room to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. When I received the sweatshirt I was shocked at how big it is. I can grab at least four inches of spare fabric on each side, and the bottom seems to flare out. I was looking for a cute sweater to wear to work, but this looks too sloppy. For $70 I was expecting better quality and fit.

I like the design and fit of this garment and I like the fabric of the body of the garment. However the fabric in the cuffs and bottom edge of the garment doesn't seem like it belongs to this garment. It is stiff so it doesn't lay in the garment right and instead sort of sticks out instead of being a smooth part of the sleeves and garment. Very unattractive and uncomfortable.

I bought this sweatshirt two months ago. I love how it fits, but it's already falling apart.

This looked so nice in the catalog - but was was way too big. Being 5' I ordered a petite - but would have to be 5'5" to pull this off. The wide band at the bottom flared out like a little skirt, the sleeves were down to my finger tips and it was very baggy. So sad, I had to send it back.

I washed this product once and you would think I had dropped bleach all over it. The green color has turned to an orange/yellow all over the collar and sleeve and in random spots on the front of the pocket/pouch. I do not use bleach when washing my clothes, I don't use shared machines so no one else used bleach, and this didn't happen to anything else in my load. I took the pullover to the store to show the sales associate and she admitted that the color should not have run this way but said there was nothing she could do. I expect LL Bean products to be able to hold up to more than a simple washing. If you're going to buy this I would suggest you hand wash it, otherwise you'll end up with a non-wearable pullover like mine. I would not recommend this.

I needed a warm slipover sweatshirt and once again the design is for women who have no hips! Not everyone is built like a stick. Most women do have curves. I am a medium and usually have to order a large size to get a hip size that fits! This is tight and way too narrow at the hips. I hope there will once again be options for women with curves.
