The robe was very comfortable but the fabric wasn't absorbent which was the main feature I was looking for

I wanted a warm bathrobe. Unfortunately, Bean's doesn't provide any details about how heavy the fabric is. I decided to take a chance and ordered it - but it was fairly lightweight terrycloth, and I returned it. Very disappointing, including the lack of information.

there were thread pulls that seemed to grow all by themselves. After only two weeks the robe looks like I've owned it for 10 years.

Color is true light blue, love the color. The robe is so heavy it feels like you are carrying a weight of 20 lbs! Not soft to the skin, just feels heavy and bulky. Really wanted to love this robe but it's going in the donate pile.

After 2 weeks of use, it is wearing badly. Terry loops are pulling out. Threads are frayed. It looks 15 years old instead of new.

Loved this organic cotton robe right out of the bag. It was long enough for my 5'10" frame and plenty of warmth. Unfortunately, after one wash the material thinned, pilled and frayed. I held off washing it again but eventually did. After the second washing, it looked like a thirty-year old bathrobe that was threadbare. Very disappointed in the quality.

Unfortunately, I found that I could not use the robe. It was a little too heavy and too long. It is being returned.

I already sent in a complaint. Lint from the cheap fabric flies all over the floor. It is really horrible.

I spoke to the agent and she assured me it was made in the USA -- It was made in Turkey. It also was huge for the designated size (M). It is being returned.

Kind of scratchy for a garment that covers most of the skin. The color was attractive, though.

It runs large and is too long to wear going up stairs.

Scratchy heavy. Not cozy whatsoever it is like wearing a cheap towel and the robe was definitely not inexpensive. I never wear it was a waste of my hard earned money.

LL Bean's quality has been deteriorating for years. This robe was the replacement for one I bought 5 or 6 years ago that I absolutely loved. It was thick, absorbent and so comfy! After tons of use, I needed a new one. This robe is a shadow of the original. It's thin and poorly constructed - such a disappointment. And just for the kicker, I bought it for $89 (was on back order - to be fair, not LL Beans fault) and now I see it's $99!! Really, LLBean? Really? LL Bean used to be a go to, but not anymore. Such a shame, I used to love this company.

It looks beautiful when you pull it out of the package. It snags everywhere, though--so much so that it is a big mess in very quick order. It went back after a few weeks of cutting the snags off only to find more and more and more.

Out of the bag, I loved this robe. It fit perfectly and I couldn't wait to wash it so I could use it. It was so cozy putting on right out of the shower. But. I have only used it for use right out of the shower, not lounging, and the terry is already pilling all down the front below the waist. I haven't looked anywhere else. This will have to be sent back. I'm really disappointed in the lack of quality in this robe.

This robe is beautiful! It is soft and warm. The color is exactly what I was looking for, even though a little expensive. That being said, the loops in this Terry are way too delicate! It is all pulling out already. I keep trimming the snags but it will instantly have many more each time I wear it. I don't have any idea why it is so easy to snag. Quite frankly, it is going to look like a trailer trash robe quite soon and I will end up throwing it away. If you don't mind the snags by all means get one. But if you expected a terry robe to last you for years, this is not the one. Very disappointed . Not worth the money.

I received the robe for Christmas after wearing this for two days I noticed wear around the neck. I contact LL Bean and they sent me a new robe. I checked the new robe and it appeared to be in perfect condition. After one week of wearing the robe again I noticed wear around the neck area. I have had robes from other stores spending a lot less and this did not happen. This is very disappointing. And truly not worth the money. Poor quality.

How did these leave LL Bean with obvious imperfections on the monogram? I have never received an item from LL Bean as disappointing as this. I ordered 3 robes with monograms. All three have glaring, obvious purple marker marks on the monogram. Perhaps used to mark the center where the monogram would go? These were purchased as gifts. Shocked at the lack of quality control. Robe is also not as plush as anticipated. This is not the fine quality spa robe you would find at a hotel. Greatly disappointed considering both the cost and the damage.

The blue color is beautiful. The robe is soft and warm. I bought this robe in May as my yearly new robe for winter so did not inspect it carefully when I received it as I should have. I could not wait Fall to start wearing it so last weekend I got it out to put on and noticed a few pulls, but thought it would not be a problem. However, it is now day six of wearing it lightly only in the morning and am noticing several pulls all across the front. I have no idea how I got them or where they came from as I am easy on my clothes. Perhaps I received a lemon as I have terry towels that have lasted for years from Frontgate without pulling so I have decided this robe is gong back.

I was unhappy with the quality of the material. It had thread snags. I didn't want to cut them off because I was afraid it would unravel the material.
