Love this shirt. The xs was a little tight in the shoulders so exchanged it for a small. Perfect. Love the blue color. It was a bit thinner than expec, but still nice shirt.

Great jacket for a cold day. I would not put in the dryer, it will shrink. Great colors.

I really like this shirt. It's soft and flannelly - just the way I like it. My biggest concern is will it keep shrinking? I tried it on when it first arrived and the sleeves were a little longer than wrist length. I washed and dried using label care instructions and they are now just at the wrist. The shoulders and neck opening pulled in a little, too. Still not too tight or restricting. All good so far, but my fingers are crossed for future laundering.

This is the coziest, softest, thick flannel shirt I've ever had. The only negative is that the size small is much looser than the same size small in the Scotch Plaid flannel shirt, slightly fitted that I have and love.

I really love L.L.Bean's flannels, they are comfy and warm, perfect for a crisp fall day. The color of this flannel is a beautiful navy blue, I sized up because I like a move oversized look but I would say these flannels run very much true to size.

I love the quality of the flannel. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because a button fell off the second time I wore it while I was walking my dog, and I couldn't find the button. The pattern was nicely matched.

The shirt has a nice bold check. The flannel is thick and soft. There is room for shrinkage and layering. The pattern matching on my shirt looks fine. I grabbed this shirt because with inflation and looming supply chain issues I can't afford to wait to get warm winter clothes.

Really thick, soft and cozy. Runs large. I am 5'4", 130 pounds and normally wear a medium. I ended up with x-small so that it wasn't too long and still fit in the shoulders surprisingly.

This is the perfect flannel shirt. Very nice weight in the fabric so it will keep me toasty in the winter. I am considering hemming it so it has a straight hem in the front

Love the quality of the shirt but had to sew the buttons back on after a week since they were too loose

I love the organic shirts by L.L. Bean all the other ones burn my skin even if I wash them over and over again

Such a soft texture to this flannel nothing like it! It is very long in the overall length, almost like it wants to be a tunic.
Warm and cozy!

My longtime backorder has arrived; once in stock it shipped quickly. This vibrant organic flannel feels cozy. The sleeves are rather narrow for a plus size; the plaid does not match on the sides even though this is an expensive shirt. The shirt will be washed in cold water, and air dried. Next month I plan to order a cranberry turtleneck. Recommended.

I ordered this flannel shirt because it was described as tunic length, "Falls at thigh." Nope! When I got it I tried it on and it fell at low hip. That was disappointing. Nevertheless, it is still a great quality shirt and just long enough. It has an attractive pattern/color, fairly thick, soft, and roomy so I'm keeping it. I just hope it doesn't shrink too much after laundering. If it does, it'll have to go back.

My only problem with this shirt is that I really fit in medium but the medium shirt shrunk when washed, body size still ok but the sleeves became to short. Therefore I have to get the large size which is to large in body but the sleeves ends up at perfect length after a wash.

I love the colors (bought the green one) and the shirt is very soft and light feeling despite fabric being a thicker than the scotch plaids. This one is very relaxed. I ordered petite small but probably would've like the petite XS better. Shirt feels loose, oversized but works ok as a top layer. I'm just not a fan of the longer back shirttail.

I really like this soft comfy shirt. If it came in solid colours I would have a closet full of them. Oh, and throw in a useable pocket too please.

I almost didn't buy this shirt because of the word "rugged" in the description - that was not what I was after - but then I read the reviews and the continued mention of "soft, cozy and warm" sold me and I am ever so glad I did. I love the heavyweight organic flannel and the softness from it being brushed on both sides. I was looking for the relaxed fit because I wanted to layer it over a fleece turtleneck so the style is exactly what I had hoped it would be... with one exception: its tight across my back/shoulders and short in the arms. That said, I don't buy many LLBean tops because they all fit me that way. (I don't think I have exceptionally wide shoulders or long arms but I do occasionally run into this issue at other retailers, just none as consistently or as severely as with LLB.) The Small is perfectly long enough (fully covers by bottom but ends 5.5" above my fingertips) and provides AMPLE room in the body - like 4" on each side of my body kind of room - but the moment I move my arms, I feel the pull across my back. It helps to leave the sleeve buttons undone, which means the cuffs sit 3 inches up my wrist but with a layer underneath, that doesn't matter as much. I think the tightness across the back is exacerbated by the seam where the pleats are - it makes it more restrictive even than usual - and that's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 because this is an otherwise warm, cozy, fabulous flannel shirt. Adding "give" to the seam would make it perfect, or placing it slightly higher/lower might also help, but for now I am back to try a Medium to see if that helps or just looks ridiculous in the body.

This flannel is very soft and I really like the material and the feel. The body of the shirt is very boxy, too wide for me. Maybe a different size would have worked better, but the options were very limited. The cream color is exactly as show, it is a good subtle choice. High priced, but on sale not a bad choice.

Pretty colors. Fit is okay. I wish you had more clothes for women in "relaxed fit" And by the way, "relaxed fit" means relaxed thru the hips, which some of you things are not.

I love the feeling of this fabric. I kind of wish I had bought an extra small though because it is a bit boxy in the shoulders, the sleeves are a little bit balloon-y, and the chest is quite roomy. I suppose some people might layer underneath it with a long sleeve shirt. I wear a tank under it. The length of the sleeves is perfect so I don't want to dry it in the dryer because I don't want that part of it to shrink.

I absolutely love this shirt. It fits perfect and washes well. Per the size chart I should wear a small, but the xsmall fit better. I'd have given five starts if the patterns matched up at the seems.

I love how soft it is. Only problem, it shrank a bit with washing, which is unusual for LLBean.

The website page description is spot on: "Our most rugged flannel shirt is also one of the softest double brushed for an exceptional feel. Made from heavyweight organic cotton." It is surprisingly heavy. But it's also very soft and very warm.
