This soft flannel shirt is beautiful and very comfortable. I wear it at least once a week - out walking, to dinner at friends, anywhere - and should probably get a second one. It runs a bit large, even for an over shirt. I usually get a medium in this sort of top, but could have worn a small in this one.

Great heavyweight flannel, not the thin flannel sold in chain stores! This would be great as a shirt or as an outside layer.

These shirts run very big. I normally wear a women's small or medium but I bought an extra small in this shirt. Even after washing/drying it, the shrinkage was minimal. Buy this at least one size down. All that said, great quality and very comfy.

Perfect shirt for relaxing at home. Warm, sleeves were long enough.

I have one of these that I bought maybe 6 years ago. Could be longer ago than that, and I wear it often throughout fall and winter each year. It's still incredibly soft, thick and fluffy. The colors are as bright as when I bought it and though it shrank a little bit at first, it's stayed just the right size ever since. The length is perfect; not too long and not too short (which I find most Bean shirts are). There's no pilling after several dozen laundry cycles, whereas I bought an LLBean Scotch plaid flannel shirt this year that pilled after the very first wash! I own a dozen or so flannel shirts from this company and this one is by far my favorite. Please make more of them that are just the same - same weight of organic flannel, same length (the perfect length!) and same amazing quality! This time I'll buy every color since I know they're worth it and will give me years of comfort and pleasure.

I hope Bean brings this style back; I have two, and they're among my favorites. The flannel is a little thicker, great for colder days. I love the open chest pocket, perfect for carrying a phone. Medium is a perfect fit for me (5' 6", 165 lbs.).

Beautiful colors well-made flannel shirt. I have several LLB flannel shirts and this has become my new favorite.

I love this shirt. It is the warmest, softest unlined flannel shirt I own. The fit is great, too. Not too tight, with a long-enough tail. I wish I could still find these on the website.

These Bean flannel shirts are great. I live in them in the spring and fall. Very soft and comfortable with great colors. You can't go wrong buying these flannel shirts.

A little heavier weight of flannel for chilly days. Not too fitted so works well over t's as a light jacket. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. Love the navy blue buffalo check.

I've purchased many flannel button downs from LLBean but wow! This one is so soft. The organic cotton is superb in comparison to other styles in the past. I anticipated shrinkage after washing. Not the case here! This flannel kept it's shape and softness after multiple washes. I bought the navy blue & white checked in large. Totally purchasing one in another color.

So very, very soft! I look for excuses to wear this super-soft and attractive flannel shirt. Fortunately, as an L.L. Bean employee, I can wear it to work and know that I look good and am comfortable as well. The colors are bright and the plaid is woven, not printed on. The size I have is just right for me.

I love this flannel shirt. Great quality and matching pattern. it's heavy enough for colder temperatures . I purchased Small regular. I am 5''3" and weigh 120 pounds. I like to wear it over my jeans and not tucked in. I have burgundy check and get lots of compliments. I plan on ordering another color soon. The fit is perfect for me. I live in OH.
