This is the softest flannel I have ever owned. I have always loved LL Bean flannel but this tops them all. I will definitely order more when they become available which hopefully will be soon. I like to wear my flannel shirts loose which is why I ordered X-Large. I also tried a Large, which fits, however I felt the X-Large was more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this shirt!!

... how much I would love this shirt! I really enjoy wearing this quality shirt for work and for casual times. I wear it as an outer layer & the fit is perfect for me, loose but not sloppy. I have long arms & the sleeves allow for extending my arms while maintaining coverage to the wrists. The fabric is softer than I expected when compared to plaid flannel shirts purchased from LL Bean last year. I bought this shirt in a multi color style also. This shirt is an all around winner!

I like the longer length of this flannel shirt. It's warm and cozy. I often have trouble with buttons gapping across the bust...no issue here. I haven't washed it yet; hope it's colorfast and doesn't shrink. Plaid is matched at sideseams, but not at sleeves. As a seamstress, that's something I notice, but maybe few others do. Overall, it's a hit for cold Michigan winters.

THIS IS THE HEAVIEST FLANNEL SHIRT I OWN. IT FEELS SOFT AND PLUSH. IT WILL BE MY GO-TO SHIRT WHEN THE TEMPS ARE BELOW FREEZING. FITS WELL ON MY SHOULDERS AND ARMS. NOT TOO TIGHT.

I love this shirt! A lot of flannel shirts look sloppy, but not this one. It has great lines, perfect length, and obvious quality. I want one in every color!

I love this flannel shirt! It is so thick and warm, the reviews are correct about it running large. I normally wear a 1X but the misses XL was just right. I recommend this shirt highly.

Loving this tunic. I have the blue buffalo check and it looks so classic and love that the pocket pattern matches the shirt. Flannel is so comfortable and the fit is generous enough that my arms can move freely and my midsection stays covered. So happy I picked this up!

I gave this as a gift to my niece and she loved it. She loves blue and she picked it out. It fit perfectly and it's nice and warm, which she loved since she's one of those cold natured folks. Looked great on her.

I love this tunic! It is soft and more substantial than the Scotch plaid flannel shirlts (which I also love) so it makes for a good outer wear shirt. I bought the bright navy plaid and received many compliments when wearing it back east in the fall. I was going to reorder another one in the fig plaid (why fig color?) but it is all sold out. I would like to see a nautical red and white plaid like the navy as the red and black is too dark. Maybe next year?

Everything is great about this shirt. I love the colors, it washes well with no pilling and no or insignificant shrinkage, and the fabric feels good. The blue in the plaid is so pretty. I enjoy glances in the mirror. Heh.

Warm, cozy, and durable construction. Comfortable for layering over turtles, waffle-knit henley, or tees with a just right relaxed fit that drapes over hips, including jeans. Deep, vibrant colors. Washes and dries in machine well. Bought my usual size in LLBean Flannel shirts.

It seems like we are going to have a colder than normal winter this year. I decided that a flannel shirt would be a nice addition to my wardrobe, ant this shirt looked like a good fit for the colors that I like to wear. It is comfortable and soft, and I know I will enjoy it. I ordered the petite large, and it is just right.

This is so well-made. The fabric is richly colored, thick enough to be warm and thin enough to not feel bulky. Fit is very good. I know this shirt will last and keep looking fresh because LL Bean clothes are that way!

This shirt is SO soft! I was worried nothing could match the LL Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel in terms of softness, but this is even softer. And organic cotton which is a plus. Definitely runs on the large side. I typically wear M or L and got a M in this shirt, but could have easily gotten a S instead. Nice and long. Personally, I don't care at all about the pattern matching on the side seems, but I do agree with another reviewer that the vertical stripes in person (I got Fig color) are practically nonexistent. So expect a horizontal stripe shirt and not so much a plaid. But overall due to the quality of the fabric and the vibrant colors, very happy with my purchase.

Am wearing it as I rate it; very true to my fitting, & very appropriate for the cold weather that will soon be upon us.

This flannel is soft and has great density. Cozy on a 25 afternoon. Fits true to size, even after a wash and gentle dry.

I have been looking for a flannel shirt that has some thickness and length. I often wear a tank top underneath in the winter. This shirt fits the bill. I bought this one and another shirt from Woolrich, to compare. This one is superior, with better fabric and fit, and I'm getting another one right away. The Woolrich one is going back.

I really like the navy-blue plaid. It has fit perfectly and felt wonderful from the beginning and I like it even better now that it has been washed. It's just what I need for a California fall day and early spring.

Soft , cozy and perfect length. Girls at work bought one of these after that saw mine. I am thinking of getting another. I bought it larger so I could wear a heavy shirt underneath. But my regular size would have been fine.
