Got these in blue large - I wanted a pair to put over other clothes. Ordered gray in medium - perfect! Ordered in This light color and they are TOO small. They do not fit like the other mediums!!!

The material and basic style are great--and no pilling!!! BUT there's no elastic in the waist and the drawstring is useless. The pants literally fell down to the floor at the grocery store!! OMG Luckily I was wearing a long coat and boots. When the aisle was not so full, I turned toward the Cheerios and pulled those pants back up and kept my hand pressed strategically on my coat. I didn't think I could return them as I had worn them. But please, don't buy these. They have a design flaw. (I am a small in llbean.)

I love to garden! In the fall, it's time to prune back all my herbs. These pants keep me warm and they stretch with me!!! They don't slide off my hips (I have small hips, so that says a lot!) They wash great and I line dry them. No wrinkles! The best part: great pockets so my phone and my keys don't fall out. I volunteer at Alliance Francaise in their garden. They fit great and they look great, too! I live in Denver, so it can be warm one day and cool the next.

These aren't even remotely like the old sweatpants LL Bean used to sell. They are a very thin material. I returned them. I still have a pair of the old 100 % cotton sweat pants from LLBean because I lived in a warm climate and didn't wear them often. I totally wore out the sweat shorts I bought at the same time. I would pay a lot for more pairs of those shorts and pants. They were both wonderful - thick cotton lined with fleece, two large pockets, elastic waist and drawstring. I don't understand why they are impossible to find anymore. I guess this new material is cheaper, but it is totally unsatisfactory.

These looked so good on line but the fit was a problem. The low waist was really way too short for me and the ankles were way too wide not proportionally gathered to the leg. I wonder if these were not sewn together as planned. I have other LL Bean sweat pants and really like them, especially the joggers. These were sent back.
