I bought this in charcoal a few months ago. Size was perfect. Bought it in light grey last week. Way too big. Washed it in hot water, dried it in high heat. Still way too big. Both were labeled small regular. Beware of inaccurate labeling!!!!!

I washed these once and they shrank at least three to four inches in length and a bit in width.

I'm 107 lbs and purchased a petite small. These fit ok before I washed them, big in the waist but that's ok. I let them air dry so they wouldn't shrink up in the length. After wearing them for 15 minutes or so they stretched out to look like a size large. I could easily take them in 4" on both sides. The butt was super baggy. I hope washing them again and drying them this time they'll get a bit smaller. I was truly disappointed. I think the fabric has way too much stretch in it. It's a shame as I've been looking for a charcoal grey pair for a few years.

Not that comfortable. No give or stretchy - ness to material. Would not buy again.

They shrink several inches in the length of the legs. LLB can do better.

Waistband needs MORE ELASTICITY. One should not have to tug on the drawcord to keep the pants from falling down!!

These are good quality sweat pants but they were HUGE on me. I got the small & I don't even know if the extra small would fit honestly. My hips are 36". I carry most of my weight thru the booty & thighs but I didn't have near enuf to fill these pants up. I almost wonder if they accidentally got misized or something. For reference I ordered a size 2 in the cargo pants & they fit perfectly. I usually wear a size 2 or 4 in my pants which I why I ordered the small but it was no cigar.

That says it. I have lost 100 pounds over the past year or so, so am slowly but surely acquiring a new wardrobe. I had some very heavyweight sweat pants from another well know online vendor. These LL Bean sweats were very lightweight. Not what I am looking for when I want to get cozy in the winter. Bought 2 pair. Back they go.

The Waist is HUGE and the waistband is so thick that the tie string is virtually useless! They are otherwise very nice, just not wearable.

Nice fabric but more money than I wanted to spend for casual wear so I ended up returning them after I found something comparable for a better price.

I was hoping for mostly cotton, relaxed, loose fitting sweat pants but these are snug fitting and feel more like a polyester. I'm returning them. They are well made, just not what I wanted.

I was excited to get these classic sweatpants, one of a dwindling number of items with no logo (I consider this a major plus). Fabric was nice, but fit was not great very baggy in front and too short. I'm 5'7 and got M. For this price, I wanted them to be perfect and comfy, so they went back. If pants are cut short, please offer them in longer lengths!

Do not like the low waist on these or anything! Also don't like the fabric blends; all cotton would have been far nice and would wear better.

I tried these on when they first arrived and they were too long and a bit big for me. I put them in the washing machine with a regular load of wash on cold water and into the dryer they went. After this wash, they shrunk a lot not only in length but were tighter around the waist. The waist band on these is wide. If you have had the misfortune of having several abdominal surgeries as is my case, forget these pants as they quickly become very painful to wear for me as they press on the scars that are left. I have sent these back for a refund and I would not recommend them for one reason mainly and that is that they shrunk. Not good. :(

I have another pair of these that I love, but these did not fit the same at all. They were way too small in the rise and too long in length. Had to return.

The pants did not fit as suggested in the description. They were baggy and unattractive. According to your size chart I should wear the large. However, they were much too large.I returned them.

This is the first time I have been disappointed with an item. I may have worn these pants less than 10 times and the seam is separating.

I'm just not happy with these pants. I washed them one time according to label directions, and they are already fuzzing. I don't understand the industry obsession with softness. They make everything super soft, and the fabric looks fuzzed and pilled in no time. I'd rather the fabric held up than be so "soft." I never noticed that fabrics weren't soft prior to the current trend. I have an old sweatshirt of my mother's from the 70's, and it looks brand new, not one bit of pilling or fuzzing. If only.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Absolutely no stretch to the material, very very weird in the world of sweatpants. I ordered them in the cranberry/red color in two different sizes so the color may be the issue. Good price point though, if you don’t need any softness whatsoever in your sweatpants ;)

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Absolutely no stretch. These are the only sweatpants I’ve ever encountered that have absolutely no stretch. They are basically constructed like a pair of (non stretch jeans) which makes them uncomfortable not only to wear but also in the basic act of putting them on. Not sure what I’m missing with all these positive reviews, unless I’ve misinterpreted the style. But they are listed as “sweatpants” so …

I bought these sweats in blue large! Amazing, but a bit big. Kept them anyway as they are knock around pants. Loved them so much I bought them in gray medium. Another awesome. Bought a third in oatmeal medium and DANG, they fit like a small. BEANS, get it right!!! So so disappointed. I love them so much I may order again, take my chances and give the ill fitting oatmeal medium to my skinny sister. UG.

The picture here doesn't show the large truly hideous L.L. Bean logo sewn on the right leg. Hed I known that would be there, I never would have ordered them. They ere well made and fit well, but too ugly to wear outdoors. Can I not trust your pictures? I am reluctant to ever order from you again.

If you want sweat"pants" that fit like capris, these are for you. I guess if you're a midget they'll fit like pants.
