I thought the robe was nice, but did meet not the quality of LL Bean that I expected.

I am 6' tall. With the sleeves unrolled they are just long enough. Usually LLBean sleeves are too short for me. The body of the robe is very warm and the sleeves are cooler.

shorter than expected and feels very lightweight (almost flimsy) - sleeves lined in plain cotton so it doesn't slip off and on very easily -sherpa lining in hood and main body, only as trim elsewhere, but the lined hood is nice for when I have to take the dog out to the backyard at night so I decided not to send it back

While I absolutely LOVE this robe, as it is so soft and snuggly, I am perplexed as to why the sherpa lining is not in the arms as well.

Overall this was a good purchase. It would have been a perfect purchase if the sleeves had been lined as well. It was a bit disappointing to find a very thin lining in the sleeves instead of fleece. I own that I may not have read the description well. The rest of the robe...fabulous!

I very much like this bathrobe and am happy with my purchase. The only thing I would like to change is the sleeve length; I wish that the sleeves on the robe were a bit shorter.

Better after a washing, more fluff my wife says. Nicely made.

Cozy and warm! The fleece lining does shed a bit, but the robe is comfortable and the sizing is perfect. I was so glad to have a warm robe with length because I live in a winter climate.

Not as warm as I thought, arms are not Sherpa lined, not worth $100, cheaper robes are warmer

This robe would be perfect if it had the sherpa fleece throughout the inside as described, yet it is not lined in the sleeves..?? Not sure why, because it would be the ULTIMATE robe otherwise!

I bought this robe for my wife and she loves it! It's very warm and comfortable, and washes well. I will buy her a second one.

I've been researching house robes for months and finally decided on this one in red. I live in San Francisco, where the climate is mild, and my apartment is warmer than average. The robe is warm but not to thick/heavy, is very soft, and has a cute design. The medium is true to size, but I wish I ordered a large because I prefer something very loose/baggy to get my body lost in. I was surprised that the length left several inches above my ankle exposed, especially since I'm only 5'2 (glad I didn't buy petite). However, I'm still satisfied with my purchase as it fits my needs in a mild climate and makes me even more excited to get out of bed each morning.

I bought this to wear over my clothes/pj's when I step outside w my dog on cold winter days & nights.
I normally wear size M but got this in XL for extra material, warmth & comfort over bulky clothes.
My only disappointment:
The sleeves are Not sherpa lined, they actually are Not lined at all and therefore your arms aren't as warmed as the rest of you.
Other than that, it's a great winter robe.

The robe is wonderful, nice and warm but pilling has started after one wash. My only major complaint is the robe tie is awfully uncomfortable, it's always a twisted mess but I still like the robe overall

I wish the length in the arms would've been just a little longer so I can show off the sherpa lining better. When rolled to show it it shortens the length just a bit too much. Otherwise I love it.

I bought this robe for cold fall mornings before we get the heat going. It's super warm and soft, once I put it on I love it. But a word of warning, the "sherpa fleece" is creepy, very cheap looking. I didn't look closely enough at the pics and thought it was regular fleece. It's true to size, I always wear a medium in Beans clothes, but if you want an oversize robe size up. It hits just below my knee. Oh, I bought the red plaid, feel a little like Santa with the white fleece trim! On a re-do I'd go with the black watch color.

Sherpa lining except for the sleeves, which had jersey lining. It was cold on my arms. I returned it.

I bought this to replace the same robe I got 4 years ago, im fine with the price increase but the item is thinner, came with two bad seams and shrunk a whole size when I quick washed it. Overall I am disappointed that LL is another place that chose to downsize on quality

This robe is beautiful and well-made overall; however, the sleeves are not sherpa-lined, which makes no sense. The sleeves are very thin which defeats the purpose of having a warm sherpa-lined robe.

I purchased this robe during the holidays 2025. I have shopped at LL Bean since it was a one room store in Freeport. This is the first item I have returned. The material was too thin. The size was small. This is not up to Bean's standards

Wasn't what I had hoped for. Light weight, and not warm enough for me

I suffer from a chronic condition where I am often cold and achy and I crave warmth. This robe looked warm and toasty (flannel! sherpa-lining! hood!) and it fit perfectly on my very petite frame - but unfortunately it was much thinner and not very warm. I returned it in favor of the Winter Fleece robe. If toasty warmth is what you seek - go with the Winter Fleece.

Thought this robe would be as thick and warm as the one I was replacing, which I purchased from LL Bean several years ago.

This robe is thin and does not have sherpa lining in the sleeves so it is not a warm robe either.
