I am always cold and wanted a warm robe that wasn't terribly bulky. This robe is perfect for my needs. The flannel is soft and well made, and the sherpa is so soft and warm. Even my chihuahua loves this robe! The sleeves are not lined, which for me is good as they are not bulky. The weight of the robe is also very good, it's not terribly heavy, and for such a long, lined robe, I was pleasantly surprised. I think the quality of this robe excellent, it's exactly what I've come to expect from LL Bean. I live in Upstate NY and I can take my dogs out first thing in the morning and stay warm in this robe. I love this robe and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I bought this for myself. Robes are one of the few things I will pay a price for. It's wonderful. I got it to wrap myself in for our hot tub before and after. Or after a shower.

I literally live in this robe since it arrived!!! It helps me get through bad days at work, just knowing it is waiting for me when I get home!!! It is just thick enough, but not too thick. JUST BUY IT!!!!

My robe arrived today and it did not disappoint. After reading the revues I was not sure I would be happy with it. But Knowing LLBean and their quality I had to give it a chance and I love it! It's heavy, thick and cozy. I did not find it to be thin and the flannel is not like tissue. You also cannot see the light through it. It's a wonderful comfy robe. I recommend it.

This robe arrived just in time for a winter storm and I stayed nice and warm when taking the puppy out in 23 degree weather. According to the size chart I should have ordered a XS but I like my robes roomy so I ordered the M instead and the fit is great, the length goes to my ankles. The lining is so soft I hate to take it off! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

This robe is beautiful and I believe it will keep me toasty warm this winter in the Shenandoah Valley. Excellent quality.

I'm of significantly Scottish ancestry so I'm always a sucker for anything that comes in a tartan print. In this case I wanted a Christmas robe and slippers set so I picked the Royal Stewart pattern. I bought this on a whim almost expecting to have to send it back, since I'm a size 18-20 and folks had said it ran small. Long story short, I bought the XL and it is PERFECT!! Feels like a warm hug! It wraps perfectly, love that it has a hood, perfect length, almost to my ankles (I'm 5'5".) I don't think I could love this robe any more. It wasn't the least expensive robe I've ever bought but for what it is I'd say very much worth the money, though lucky me got a 30% off coupon. I live in Tennessee so it will only be cold enough to wear this for a couple of months out of the year, but December and January are what I have in mind anyway. Not sure why people are calling this "thin" or cheap? Anybody who has an XL you don't want, let me know and I'll take it off your hands! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. (One minor quibble: the Royal Stewart Wicked slippers I bought to match are a tiny bit different pattern, the check is a little smaller and brighter. But they're also comfy and amazing. Thrilled with this purchase!!)

I love this robe. I live in Montana & this robe is perfect for our frigid winters. I'm a huge fan of plaid & hoodies so it's right for me. It's lightweight but warm & not so long that I trip over it. Thank you LL Bean!

Love everything about this cozy,lovely robe! I think it's perfect,I don't understand the other reviews because my robe is just right. I purchased the Black Watch in small, fits so well. Very plush lining and lovely flannel outer layer. This robe is worth the money but I got mine 20 dollars off so look for your coupons. Sincerely, KRW

This seems flimsy out of the package. The sleeves are not Sherpa lined. Once you wear it though you realize it is warmer than it looks. I would have give 5 stars but it is so overpriced; I am hoping it lasts as long as other Bean items given the price.

I have one of these from years ago. I like this one, but the material is not as thick as in years past! It's still soft and cuddly and I still like it, but was a little disappointed in the fact that it's not as heavy and therefore I don't think it's going to last as long as the one I had before!

Not the finest materials, but very comfortable, attractive, and warm.

I was looking for a really warm and not itchy robe and this one fit both requirements. I really would have rather had it in a solid color, but that was not an option. Also, I would have given it 5 stars, but the overlap in front would work better if there were more of it so that the robe didn't open up when you sat down. It would keep your legs warmer if there were more overlap.

Warm and comfortable! I love it! Just right for relaxing on a chilly evening.

This is a very nice robe, but the sleeves are a little short.
