This is an update to my review of September 8 entitled "VERY Nice Jacket Except for Elbow Patches!" where I said everything was perfect about this jacket except for the rather large elbow patches - gave it 5 Stars though - and said I was returning it. WELL, I've regretted doing that ever since SO I reordered it about 10 days ago. I decided I could live with the elbow patches!!!! Our morning temperatures right now are around 38 degrees, and it's warm enough over a flannel shirt. I believe it will be a late Fall and early Spring jacket where I live. I ordered it in the Forest Gray Heather/Alloy Gray which I like instead of contrasting colors. It fits perfectly and it's so soft and furry - my cat would love it! Also, it has lots of pockets - 2 in the front are zippered. My jacket is NOT shedding any lint at all as a few other customers said about theirs? I tried it with a black, cotton turtleneck shirt and no lint. Sure glad it was still available for me to order again!!!!!!

This is THE BEST jacket. It's got to be the favorite of all my jackets. It's warm, soft and cozy, really comfortable. Warm without a lot of weight. I'm 5'5" and don't like things too long. This is the perfect length. I've got it in two different colors.

Soft, warm, and breaths well. It is a pleasure to wear.

I love putting it on. It's bright, cozy and so soft. A sweater can be worn underneath it for extra warmth. The sleeves are a little too long for me, but I can fold them up.

I really like the jacket. It is comfortable, and fits great. Wish it was just a little heavier so I could wear it when it gets cold.

Put this fleece on for the first chilly days in November and it's really cozy and warm. I didn't even grab a jacket on a 40 degree day to run to the grocery store! Love it... plus it's really soft!

I first bought this in purple(lilac) then bought the grey a week later. I wear these both interchangeably nearly every day over a shirt. It keeps me warm but not too hot in my house! I highly recommend!!

There are a lot of this popular high pile garments available, but this one is the nicest of all - love the woven patches on the elbows, and by the front pockets and chest pocket - will allow this jacket to be worn a long time. I really enjoy wearing it and highly recommend it.

I love this product. It is nice and warm and gives me room to put another layer underneath .

Very warm and comfortable. Fits nicely, plenty of room to layer a light sweater underneath. Great jacket for fall/transition weather.

A little loose but very comfortable for my purposes

I have been wearing this jacket every day as the temperatures drop. It looks great on me (if I do say so myself), very cozy and comfy. I am surprised at how warm it feels from the moment I zip it up. I am thinking of buying another.

I love this jacket. It is so warm and cozy. Probably not good for real winter in Colorado, but wonderful for cool nights and spring and fall weather. The colors are fabulous.

About a dozen or so years ago, I bought a fuzzy jacket like this from a bricks and mortar L.L.Bean store, but it was only available in men's sizes. It was getting very tired (from being worn *a lot*), and I snapped this one up as soon as I saw it. It's *great*. It is quite large, but I deliberately bought it so that it would be. And someone here complained that it was fuzzy on the *inside* of the sleeves, and they were upset about that. I consider that a feature, not a bug. This is the ultimate in comfort clothing!

So cozy and pretty. Better than expected. Bought it in purple, and the color goes with just about everything.

I bought this to wear to work. I bought it a size up so I could layer it if needed. I wanted something warm but not bulky. This is perfect. It is warm and very comfortable. Easy to move arms while driving. Very soft to touch. Exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase.

I just purchased two of these, one in small and one in extra small. I wanted one to fit more snuggly than the other one and I got just what I wanted. They are soft and warm and cuddly good. Also since the plum is offered this year it is the color for our work uniform... (and I work in a "meat locker"). But this year I'll be warm!

This is the softest, coziest fleece ever. And plenty warm too. It's last year's color...but who cares? Gray is gray...and gray always works. Nice pockets too -- I really like nice pockets, and always regret choosing a garment without them. This is a great hiking fleece, but upscale enough to wear on the golf course on damp chilly drizzly afternoons. Nice cozy collar too when those cold fall winds blow. A great choice.

I bought this piece for my elderly mother to keep her warm. This looks good on her and she loves it. She says she's never been warmer and it's soft, soft, soft. Couldn't be more happy with the purchase.

Loving the fabric, Wright and length. Great color and did not realize it had elbow pads which I live! Can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear this!

I bought this (in the rose pink color) as part of a large-ish LL Bean haul, and did not know how much I would or wouldn't wear it. Spoiler alert: I BARELY TAKE IT OFF. This fleece is so soft, and so warm it really is the perfect fall staple that will keep you cozy indoors and out. I went on to buy a similar one in pullover form. My one complaint is that it's big I bought a medium and wish I had sized down to a small. However, the slightly large sizing has hardly prevented me from wearing it 24/7.

This is the softest fleece jacket I have ever worn! Excellent quality! All LLBEAN clothing & products are top quality. I bought an XL so I can wear tops underneath without being too tight.

I chose the mossy green in this jacket. I also have the creamy colored one I bought last year. I love these jackets because they are warm without being bulky. They look good with jeans and dress pants. I usually buy Small in LL Bean clothing but I needed the sleeve length of the Medium.
