I cannot say enough about this jacket. It is the best thing I've ever owned might be a little strong, but still. I wear it daily while working from home. Not sure how I lived without it.

This fleece is very soft and warm. It's great for layer under and over. It also washes well.

I bought this for my sister for Xmas. She loves it. She's always cold and she said that she gets warm while hiking with this jacket. She is 6ft tall with long arms and the sleeve length is great. She's thin so a large would have been good but she likes it to be roomy for extra layers. She bought a similar jacket years ago from another retailer and she said LLBean's jacket is much better quality and warmer. I bought the storm Teal and it's a beautiful color.

It's surprising how warm this jacket is considering its overall weight is quite light. I'm not a fan of the contrasting placket but that's just my preference. My cats love to sleep on it if I ever take it off. I would buy a cat blanket (36" x 36") if they made one of this material (hint, hint!).

This fleece is the softest, most comfortable thing I've ever worn. I haven't gotten any lint from it like in other reviews, and the quality is amazing. Two deep side zipper pockets and a snap breast pocket. I love that it's not lined, because the cloud-soft fleece lays on your skin and it's SO COMFY. I may have slept in it for a new nights because it was so warm and cozy. Immediately went back on the site and got one for my boyfriend, so glad they have tall sizes!!

I got this and the matching vest and love them -- a lot warmer than regular fleece. I got them in medium and small might have been better, but the roomy fit is great for layering so I'm happy with these. I went back to order more but they were sold out in both S and M. I've been recommending LL Bean's hi-pile fleece since the day i got these and I'll definitely get more next fall before they sell out.

This is a delightfully soft and warm jacket. It is a lovely aqua color. It is a little big for me but I enjoy it too much to sending it back. It runs somewhat large.

I purchased the Women's L.L.Bean Hi-Pile Fleece Jacket, in Petite XL. It fits just the way I wanted it to - not too tight and not too loose. It's very soft and comfortable to wear and it looks sporty too. Good quality and nice looking!

Wanted to write a review because I was worried about shedding after reading previous reviews, but I've washed and dried it twice and surprisingly there wasn't a single bit of lint in the lint screen after drying! I wonder if they fixed the problem or maybe it depends on the color? I got the olive green. Super warm and comfortable, great for keeping warm around the house or as a layer on cold days.

The jacket is cozy, warm and fits true to size. I would recommend it.

My mother-in-law loves it, and says she gets many compliments. It is great worn as an indoor/ourdoor jacket or midlayer. So glad they have petite sizes!!!

This jacket is something my wife loves! She has a teal color and wanted a gray, also. Her first jacket is two years old, but you cannot tell. She wears it almost daily. It washes very well and hasn't yet to shrink. I also bought one for my sister.

I ordered this for my wife, who loves winter but is never warm enough. Soft and cozy indoors, effectively traps body warmth when outdoors. Plum color delightful. Plan to order more as gifts for friends and family!

When it first arrived and i tried it on, there was lint/ pilling all over my black scrubs. I was instantly disappointed since I bought two! I then started reading many negative reviews about it shedding. Before deciding to return them I decided to take some tape and remove some of the pilling. The costumer service also replied promptly and recommend to wash them to help. I wore it again for a few hours after just using tape and my black shirt and leggings barely had any pilling on them! I hope it continues this way because the first try on was a mess. I'm in love with the softness of the fleece and excited to give the other one as a gift.

Comfortable, nice looking, and good fit

The jacket is well made, fits well. It is lightweight yet very warm and comfortable.

I own many fuzzy jackets. I feel no need to take this one off - too cozy indoor & outdoor. After purchasing my typical neutral & loving it I came back for some color. The desert rose looked a bit more watermelon on my computer but is more of a paprika shade (and I like it), The purple heather is not too bold; a very wearable toned down shade for me. Elbow patches make this jacket stand out. I hope LLBean considers making a hooded version someday in the future. Fits comfortably over something mildly bulky - not boxy but not overly fitted. Nice deep zip pockets.

Looking at what is available I can see that many people have boughten this cozy jacket! The fit is perfect even over a sweater. I love the zip up high collar. The sleeve are perfect too. I bought the eggplant color. I have a similar black jacket that I bought at Macy's last year. I like this one better as it has a slimmer fit and looks nice with jeans. Thank You LL Bean.

Really, really, warm and cozy. I'm determined to get outside as much as possible since exercising indoors is verboten these days. This jacket willl allow me to be comfortable for walks and runs on very cold mornings.

I bought the purple color and I love it! It is super soft. There is a little bit of fuzz coming off onto my clothes but I haven't washed it yet. The fit is perfect. I usually wear a small or medium and this is a roomy small that I could wear a few layers underneath if I wanted.

i've purchased many polartec tops from bean over many years but this is the very best. The absolute warmest and super comfy. Also, fabulous colors.
