The pj's top shrunk two 2xs to small very disappointed

The size Large pajamas... the pants are HUGE. I'm a woman and like many women do not fit into a perfect Size Medium or Large on my top and bottom. Why can't LL Bean and other companies realize they would SELL A LOT MORE clothing if they offered SEPARATE TOPS AND BOTTOMS instead of "sets". How difficult is that? I am a large on top and a medium on the bottom... this pajama SET fit perfectly on top in a large but the bottoms in a size large were ridiculously huge... I will never again order pajama sets from LL Bean unless they are offered as separate tops and bottoms. I know I'm not the only woman who is a different size on the bottom than the top... ALL my woman friends agree. So I returned the pajama SET. I actually considered taking the pants apart and making them smaller... I am a pretty good seamstress but I'm going to try and find a place that sells pajama separates... I can dream can't I?

Bottoms were so stiff. Washed pjs before I wore them. Top shrunk, bottoms stayed stiff. Flannel pants. I've had nightgowns for years never an issue. Very disappointed. I'm going to try to return them

Too big, not enough elastic in the waist -- I have no intention of tying and untying them, each time the restroom needs to be used and they don't stay up without tying them. And, when I went to reorder my Christmas present -- the next size down was out of stock and would not be replenished until March, when winter is just about over! You need to keep items in stock for after Christmas returns. Was my husband to give these to me prior to XMAS so I would try them on and reorder as necessary? Seems that vendors are keeping their stock as low as possible, for their bottom line of course, and customers should always buy items in two sizes just in case and our bank accounts can then be lower and not yours. And I have to LAUGH at your e-mails for things being on sale, there's nothing left and there won't be any restocking.

These were too large and too long even though I have chose the same size as another style that fit perfectly. I returned them.

Very cheap looking & didn't appear to be comfortable. Not at all like the really nice ones I bought years ago. Sent them back & expect a credit.

I bought these in the sale which I'm glad about, I recently opened them and there are white bleach like marks on the top. The pants are long and baggy as others have stated but I don't mind that so much. I washed the pajamas and now the top has shrunk which is a problem as it rises up further when I'm sleeping. It's a shame because they look lovely on the website and I was looking forward to having them.

Bottoms are long and roomy. I'd keep them even tho a bit big, but top is too tight. Waited for these to be in stock. Love the look and feel but can't keep these mismatched sizes. My body is totally proportional. Small tall should fit me. So inconsiderate to see these complaints by so many and continue to ignore.

Top was fine, bottoms were 3 sizes too big. Won't purchase again.

Comfortable and warm. Pants fit great. Top length is a bit shorter than I prefer. Slides up while sleeping.

The top is comically short. The sleeves don't reach my wrists and it fits like a crop top. The bottoms are ok, but the top fits nothing like in the picture. Unfortunately my husband washed them so we can't return, but every LL Bean item he bought me for Christmas has a wildly different fit, even at the same size. My MIL loves LL Bean but she's 5'0, so I guess she has better luck. Will not buy from LL Bean again. Disappointed.

These pajamas are so ill-fitting. I ordered a medium. The top is snug and uncomfortable (sleeve is short), but the bottoms are huge. There is no opportunity to go up a size. I ordered two pairs, returned one pair, but kept one because I had worn it once and then put it in the washer and dryer. I should have tried to return it, because I will not wear them again.

The shirt is great but the pants feel like cardboard. Horribly stiff and not cottony soft Even though tag says cotton. I am returning!

It was a small but the pant bottoms were very large. Returned.

The pajamas were one of five items I ordered. They arrived two weeks after the other items. When I opened the green shipping bag the pajamas were thrown in loose. The top had dirt on it. I'm assuming the pajamas were shipped from a return center and no one bothered to inspect the item and repack it properly. I'm questioning whether to order anything from LL Bean in the future. Very unprofessional!

Very pretty but the pants legs were so large they looked and felt awful so I sent them back. Don't know what they were thinking to make pants so huge. Very disappointed because they were so pretty.

I will never buy pajamas from LL Bean again. The top is too short and the bottoms are too full. The designer must think that the wearer will be shaped like Humpty Dumpty!

Returned for length of PJ bottoms being too long and top being too small.

I am unable to rate this item due to it was too large. I returned it but have not received my refund.

Would give zero stars, but the lowest allowed is one. I have multiple pairs of these pajamas and have never had a problem with them. This pair is less than 2 months old and the back of the pants is ripped in two places. Not typical of LLBean quality. For $70, I expect to get multiple years out of them, not multiple weeks!

I ordered a 2X even though I wear a 1X thinking they would be roomier. The top was in no way a 2X.. It was tight all over and the bottoms were HUGE!!! I wish I hadn't taken the tags off.
