LL Bean used to have Wonderfull flannel fabric in PJ's. But, this flannel is not the same. It is rough and does not have the soft hand of a quality flannel.

Not going to buy these again.. The pants shrink more each washing. The jersey top is getting bigger each washing. The set was true to size when first purchased. First washing changed that . Each washing changes it more. PJs need frequent washings obviously.

The top fit perfectly, with room to move. The pants were a different story. The elastic in the waistband was not snug at all, and no matter how much I cinched up the drawstring, they were extremely saggy in the crotch area. I had to pay $20 per pair (x5) to get the alterations done so they would fit decently. I truly wish this item would sell separately (top from bottom).

I am a 5'8" 3X apple shape. These jammy pants are perfect! The whole set feels wonderful. The top is not as stupidly shaped as the photos make it look (I was wondering!) but in fact it is a bit short in the front. It is OK for now but I worry it will be too short after a year of washing.

The pants are awesome. Absolutely love them. The shirt is perfect-EXCEPT that the shirt tail is way too short.

The top fit perfectly and was very soft and comfortable. The pants were very large and the material was not soft, even after repeated washings.

This is a very comfy-cozy set of winter pjs. The top fits fine, but the bottoms are too long and too wide! They ride up my legs when I sleep, so my feet are cold, and I practically trip on them when I walk. My husband says I look cute in them, tho, so I'll keep them. I'll hem the pants and take in the seams.

I actually ordered petite as I am only 5'3 and got sent regular. However I didn't reorder petite as I thought the material was little too thin for winter pjs. Thought they were going to be softer and little thicker. I normally love all the products I have gotten for LL BEAN.

I prefer lighter flannel. These pj's are too heavy for me and I probably won't wear them.

I spend the extra money on LL Bean pajamas because they are soft, cozy and comforting. The top on this set fits the description. The bottoms, though are thin and the fabric is kind of scratchy. It's not fleece and it's not flannel. I don't know what it is exactly, but the fabric seems cheap. Stop cutting corners, Bean. It's not like you're lowering prices!

I like the top very much. It's comfortable and a nice weight. The bottoms, however are not very soft, as expected. They also seem larger, proportionally, than the top.

These PJs are very comfortable and seem to be a good fit. I am disappointed that while the material is soft, it is a little thin for winter. I am keeping them because under warm covers they are just fine.

The PJ set was a bit disappointing. The pants had a very odd feel and were coated with some sort of chemical and the flannel isn't woven it's printed. The top was soft and thick but proportionally it's short and I'm average height. The best part of these pajamas are rise on the pants. So many flannel PJs are short waisted which drives me crazy. I feel the quality is on par with the PJ's I saw that Target though. And definitely not what I was expecting from LL Bean. Still the waist sits correctly so I'll keep them and wear them with a different top. I would follow the size chart, the pants shrink.

I wanted to love this pair of pj's. I received them for Christmas. The material seems like good quality but the pants are pretty roomy while the top is way too snug for me. I wear a size small. To me the pants seem like a medium and the top an x-small. Will probably return them. Received another pair of llbean pj's, different style, size small that fit perfect. Not sure why sizing is so different. Must be the seamstress.

PJ pants - Pros: comfortable, easy care, hem length was good, overall fit okay. Cons: fabric lower quality flannel, on the thin side. PJ top - Pros - super soft fabric Cons - large amount of shrinkage in length making it more of a crop top and slightly too small, fit is off and top pulls to the back. Recommend with conditions: I do not recommend the top due to shrinkage and fit but I do recommend the bottoms!

This is my second winter with these PJ's. They fit great and look very cute. I wanted to love the set since it was a Christmas present from my wish list. The first winter I barely wore them, my arms were constantly cold and the bottoms were fairly stiff. This winter, the multiple washings have soften up the pants a bit but I'm unable to feel warm with the top. Very disappointed. Not recommended for very cold nights.

I was under the impression that these would be toasty-warm. They're not. The quality is fine, but I was quite chilly the night I wore them. It was in the 20s outside, we keep the house around 58 degrees, and the cheap polyester PJs I usually wear keep me warm with no trouble under those conditions. I wanted a natural fabric and high-quality construction, so I decided to give these a try. I kept waking up because I was cold. So I'd say they're probably fine for spring and fall, but definitely not warm enough for winter nights in New England.

I ordered a petite medium and the top fits good. The pants are the right length but they are too wide- too much material- like wearing clown pants. They are soft, warm and did not shrink after washing.

Bottoms way too wide for petite frame and fabric quality is marginal: stiff and scratchy that doesn't improve with washing.

I ordered these for my daughter. She loves the top; it is warm and cozy and fits perfectly. The pants are way too big. Unfortunately, since they are sold as a set I was told I will need to return both. I would keep the top if possible.

I love these pajamas, but the fabric for the pants is sub-standard. The shirt fabric is fine. The pant fabric comes out of the dryer crumpled and stuck together on the inside. I have never seen such bad fabric for a L L Bean item. The design is what I like. THE WRONG SIDE OF THE PANT FABRIC STICKS TOGETHER EVEN WITH DRYER SHEETS!

The pajamas fit perfectly until washed and dried on delicates cycle. I would estimate they shrunk a full size.

I liked the style, found the pants to fit, but the top was too tight fitting. I prefer the top to be looser for more comfort.

These would have been perfect if not for two things; the pants do not have pockets and the shirt is too short. They are very soft and I could have lived with not having pockets, but I didn't want the shirt to expose my waist and chest when wearing it. Why do companies either skimp on the length of regular shirts or offer "tunics" which are too long?! No happy medium. So back they go...

I am satisfied with these, but would have liked it if they bottoms had been made of softer material, as the top top is. Curious. But after I washed them, they really softened up. Phew! If I was to describe softness using sheet thread count, the top is like 400 thread count soft and the bottom was 200. But really, washing definitely helped. Other odd thing about the bottoms, is that the front is much higher on the waist than the back. A lot. But under a bathrobe or for sleeping, I don't mind it. As they are the only PJ set Bean sells, and because I bought at an extreme discount, I am happy with them. But maybe next year, the fabric could be softened? Hope so. I'd like to order another pair.
