I bought these this past fall. I thought they were ok. I got a similar (different color) set for Christmas and they are much softer. I am not sure if the material is much different. I just didn't realize how cozy they really should be. These ones are stiff and the shirt is scratchy. Even after washing. It is too bad.

The fabric is good but the sizing is way off. I bought the XL because I like roomy pajamas. The top is more like a large and the bottoms are gigantic!!!! I'm disappointed. LL Bean is normally a good company but somebody blew it this time.

These were heavier than I expected and not as comfortable as I thought they would be.

I ordered size XL because I wanted the pajamas to endure any shrinkage and fit with reasonable looseness. The top fits well but the bottoms are HUGE. I smile every time I put them on.

I was not happy with the PJ top as it shrunk when I laundered it and it no longer fits comfortably. The PJ bottoms did not shrink and still wearing them.

I'm thinking that flannel bottoms are so big due to allowing for shrinkage. They are 4 inches on the floor! Flannel is nice but quite stiff. Will probably soften up when washed. Hope they shrink like a different reviewer said. I like pjs loose but this is too much. The top could be looser. The top is more navy than any other color or shade of purple.

These pajamas are cozy and warm as described. They are really comfortable and the color is fine. I wish they were just a little more fitted. I don't mean tight, but legs that are narrower, so that I'm not swimming in fabric. I'd like to feel attractive as well as cozy, but the bottoms are quite large and I just feel frumpy in them.

Got these nice pajamas. They are warm and toasty but the bottoms are huge and wide legged. The material on the bottoms is still a little stiff even after several washings. Top fits fine and washes up nicely.

Even after washing and drying with fabric softener the flannel bottoms felt like burlap and ground up pine cones against my skin. The top is a 1x1 cotton rib knit. The most desirable and comfortable cotton knit available. It felt wonderful. It was the right length for me at 5'4". I probably could have ordered a size small. There was minimal shrinkage. I was shocked that LLBean would sell such a low quality flannel. I really didn't want to return these, but I couldn't wear them for even ten minutes without itching. I found softer cotton flannel pajama pants on a competitor's site.

Th pajamas are warm. The sizing is off. Top fits comfortably but the bottom is quite large for me and the waist is not elastic. I have to tie and untie to remove.

Was disappointed in the bottoms of the set. Low quality stiff and very baggy. The top was great, soft and fit perfectly. I agree with all the other reviews.

It doesn't fit well. The top should be looser. It seems one size smaller than it should be. The pants are two sizes too big! I bought a split neck Henley which fits perfectly and would be a perfect pj top.

I love the top on this pajama set -- really nice material, weight, and cut. But the pants were enormous, and that's why I'm returning these. It would be great if you'd sell these as separates, I'd be happy with just the top, but at this price, I can't bring myself to just throw away the bottoms (which I don't really need or want, even if they fit better). So A+ for the top, C- (at best) for the bottom.

I ordered Petite Medium; I am 5 feet tall and weigh about 129 pounds. The top fits perfectly but the the pants are way too generous. I tried washing and drying them, but they did not shrink at all.

The flannel is good quality and warm. However the top bags out after every wash and is less than warm. Colors are true and rich.

These pjs are so soft & cozy! Perfect for cool weather.

The pants run huge! These are very nice pajamas, very comfortable. I think the price could be lower.

I had bought a pair of your pajamas same size as I ordered in this one. I was surprised the pants are a little too tight and there are no pockets. The previous pair had pockets and fit.

The pajamas are nice but need several washings to get soft. Length of legs was way tooo long for me (5'1 )

I like the pajama set except the pant legs are so wide that they don't provide any warmth. It's almost like you need to wear long underwear underneath so you don't get cold legs. I was hoping they'd be good for winter but not so.

I've loved these pj's in the past, but these flannel pants were huge and stiff as a board...not comfortable at all

The fabric, colors, and sewing is lovely but the sizing isn't right for me. I ordered large because I like a loose top however this meant huge bottoms that bag and drag on me.
