What a poorly constructed sweater. For being a large it certainly is small. It also hangs oddly and adds unnecessary bulk. It's also not very comfortable, not very soft. Let me mention the shedding as well, which is significant, and the insane amount of pilling. That's with hand washing and laying flat to dry! For as expensive as this was, I expected better.

Lovely sweater but it sheds :( I wear a lot of dark clothes so it doesn't work for me.

It is a lovely sweater. Perfect color and weight and fit. I wear a lot of dark tops and because of the shedding problem, it would be impossible to do. I wasn't about too wash it to see if the shedding resolved itself. Sadly, I am returning it.

I bought the grey one last year petite large (label says made in China, I ordered a blue one in petite large and had to return because it fit like a small/medium--my exchange was for a XL petite-that is the blue one! Look how much smaller the XL is compared to the large!!! It says made in Jordan? I have the same issue with the fit in pants. LL Bean-what is going on?

This was very snug for a large. Not sure where is actually manufactured but a women's large is actuall probably a medium and also was much shorter then the picture showed.

This sweater is still in my closet because it is shedding little cotton balls all over my clothes! I can not wear it at all even if I wanted to.

I'm shocked that more buyers aren't remarking about how badly this sweater pills. Shortly after I received the sweater, it was full of pills and pulls and looked like I owned it for 10 years. I only wear it around the house because it looks so worn. The color is fine, but if you want a sweater that looks new for a while, this isn't it! I've purchased many sweaters from LL Bean that I love (Double L cable cardigans), but this one was a great disappointment. Not worth the price.

This sweater is great for this time of year. I love the pockets and the open style. My mother in law liked it so I got her one too.

I think Leon would turn in his grave if he saw what his company has become.

Was very disappointed! Loved the look of the sweater in the catalog! Large was tight so returned for XL. That was really tight in my arms & it didn't hang right on me. Normally don't have trouble with sizing at Bean. Considering you wear this over other clothes you want it a little loose.

The sweater sheds. I am away right now and this sweater is shedding onto my black top and pants. I don't k is if washing it first would have helped.

The sweater is very heavy and pulls down from the weight. If you wear a dark colored shirt under it it gets particles all over the dark shirt. Not my favorite for $90.00. Not worth that much money.

This sweater shrunk between one and two sizes after being washed in COLD water and HUNG to dry inside in a cool shady place. We then ordered the larger size and it, too shrunk to an unwearable size! Obviously no quality control in the manufacture.

Sweater looked good, but after it was worn only 2 times, it started shedding. Later I found it was an issue with other customers. Looks to me like LL Bean should have handled this by now. Returned, but no sweater for my wife's Christmas. Thanks, Bean, for making it special for 2 days anyway. FIX the problem or pull it!

Wanted to love this sweater, but the inside of sweater is a mess. The yarn was all over my shirt and the floor. Couldn't keep and had to return. LLBean, you should remove this from your selection.

I actually love the sweater but I'm so frustrated with the sizing! I wear a women's 2x but I am short -- and this sweater came down close to my knees! PLEASE consider petite plus sizes. Just because we're fat doesn't mean we're tall and have long arms!

This sweater keeps sheading, everything that it's near ends up with pieces of this sweater on it, very poor quality, do not recommend.

I bought this in the orange color. It shed excessive amounts of orange lint all over my shirt and slacks. I thought the problem would clear up after the first wearing, but it did not, even after putting it through the washer and dryer. The shirt that I wore under it (LL Bean white oxford no-iron shirt) still had orange lint all over it after washing and drying it as well. I can't have orange lint all over my chest every time I wear this. I regret this purchase.

I had high hopes for this cardigan. I was attracted to the longer length and thought it would look great with leggings. Unfortunately the sweater was very baggy and unflattering; I looked like I was wearing a sack. Returned it immediately.

I would LOVE to buy this cardigan but it's not for tall ladies like me. I'm almost 6 ft tall and have an inseam of 35 inches for pants. My arms are longer. Can't LL Bean start selling to tall women? You have nice clothes especially tops that I would purchase but most aren't available to us tall types with longer arms.

I ordered this sweater to go with black slacks but any color as well. It's very pretty and fits perfectly. It's long so covers the hip area. I would love to order another color but really have enough sweaters now.

I purchased the dark charcoal color. I loved the fit but the arms of the cardigan had pills on them. Maybe the other colors would be better. I am returning this product.

The sweater hangs terribly, is shapeless and exceptionally unattractive. The cotton fibers look like they will pill and stretch with wear. I don't recommend it for ANY body type, it's THAT bad....

This cardigan SHEDS on your jeans, your pants, your top, your furniture... it SHEDS on everything. It sheds before your wash it. It sheds after you wash it. Recommend getting a long hair cat instead. The cat would shed less. :(
