Not the usual soft flannel I was expecting. It was sort of stiff and thin.

Size Med. is waaay too Long in the legs and the overall fit...the pants could hold an additional person in them. I'm bummed because I love the fabric and the kitties on them. Perhaps make them for us who are shorter so we can enjoy them like our taller sisters.

Bought this first time in petit small. Way too long and legs are so wide. Returned Got an extra small petit still too long and legs are still much too wide. First purchase I have been disappointed in from Bean.

I was very disappointed in my pajama pants. I have 3 pairs of flannel pajama sets that are the best. I thought pajama pants would be the same but they aren't made with the same quality flannel.

Fabric is low quality compared with a pair of flannel pjs I bought last winter

I bought these last year -- adorable plaid labrador retriever print against a navy background -- I thought they'd soften up over time. Instead the fabric is thin, the flannel is not comfy, and the fit is weird (way too big in butt). I would not buy these again. I think LL Bean product quality has declined a lot over the years.

While the pj bottoms are cute the material is hard.

These are a terrible disappointment. The fabric is a thin, poor quality loose weave that nowhere approximates being called "flannel." LL Bean, where is your quality control? Returning.

I am not convinced these are flannel. The fabric was thin and scratchynot at all like other flannel pajamas and gowns I have from Bean. I sent these back immediately.

I bought the large and paid to return because they were too big. Bought a medium and they are still huge!!! I wanted to love these but I'm not paying to return again and purchase again only for the small to be gigantic as well. If LL Bean offered free returns I'd be more likely to shop here more often, considering their lack of actual stores in my region. Disappointing.

Not happy with these at all..I ordered a medium.. waist is tight and the rest of the pants are huge...

Don't waste your money If I could give them 1/2 I would. The only redeeming factor was the pattern. They were thin, unevenly hemmed, leaving one leg longer, untrimmed threads, and poorly made overall

The material is ruff and stiff even after washing. Ordered a petite xs so the length is good but they are still very wide and too big.

These fit true to size. The problem is that the flannel is not brushed on both sides. The back side of the fllannel isn't soft at all. It is very stiff and scratchy, uncomfortable and stiff.. I've washed then 4 times and nothing is helpling.

Fabric is awful. Not soft. Not cozy. Oddly stiff, sort of like flannel made from paper. The cut is strange--apart from the extra roominess that comes with ordering a size that's a bit big. The pant legs are very wide and baggy-looking. There's just too much fabric in them. The pockets are too shallow for a cell phone, which sticks out of the top of the pocket. The best things about these pajama lounge pants are the fabric designs, especially the dog design. Everything else is a disappointment.

I have a golden retriever, and there is something about this flannel that attracts dog hair and keeps it, even after washing. The flannel isn't soft, it has a harsh texture. I haven't had this problem with any other LL Bean flannel. I have 2 pairs of these pants, and they are unwearable.

I've had this problem before and ended up returning the item - coats, shirts, and now pajama bottoms. These are not made for petite people. The sleeves and legs are always too long and would require tailoring. LL Bean has great value and classic styles but they just don't fit petites.

Material is terrible..rough and scratchy like the other reviewers mention. So disappointed with llbean quality that has gone severely down hill. these past years.

I wear XS in pants but like PJs a bit "roomie". The reviews had warned of shrinkage, so I ordered M. The Medium looked like an XXL. Didn't wash them, but returned them for a credit. The quality was poor as well. LLBean needs to return to the quality of the past!

Too small in the legs... very uncomfortable Waistband does not have ANY give to it. Does not feel like flannel at all.

These are ridiculously large. The crotch was half way to my knees! Had to return.

I bought the print with fir trees and deer thinking they would be fun cozy holiday flannel pants. The sizing was huge, but with the elastic and draw cord waist could have been wearable. Unfortunately, when I washed them before wearing, they came out of the dryer stiff as a board and scratchy, so I washed them again thinking there must have been some extra sizing in the fabric or something. But again, they were stand-up stiff and scratchy. I can't imagine who would call these cozy. I am really surprised by this, as it's definitely not up to LL Bean quality, though I haven't ordered in a few years I called to check on them and was told they were made of 100% cotton flannel "twill" for durability and brushed for softness. Twill is not mentioned in the description, and "softness" or "cozy" is just not accurate. What has happened to reliable LL Bean? Very disappointed and returning them.

Fabric is stiff,not very soft at all! These pants are made for women with a long torso. Have to pull waist up to bra in order for the crotch to be where it should be Very disappointed with these pants

so unhappy with this item - the flannel is so thin, so cheap - i can't believe this is from ll bean - and the price is outrageous for the quality - i know better now than to purchase anything else from ll bean - i really wanted to give this no stars
