My son has a slim build and this coat fits perfectly with enough room to layer a hoodie underneath. It is super light weight but provides a lot of warmth. We love that it doesn't look like every other winter coat out there. And I love that it is machine washable!

I love the color block look - very retro. The jacket is very light and comfortable. I've only had the chance to try it into the low 30's but it's kept me quite warm (and I'm pretty sensitive to cold temps). I wouldn't call it entirely wind-proof, but it's very much wind-resistant. It'll take a pretty strong, cold wind for you to feel it. And with any layers on underneath you should be fine. I can't comment on water-resistance, as I haven't worn it out in wet conditions. A very light rain beaded up on it nicely from my walk from the driveway to my house but that is no test to go by. I will say, if you like a more snug fit - like I do - one small issue I had was that the sleeves are a little more snug than the torso. So with a small it is a little difficult sometimes to put on, arms-wise, depending on what I wear underneath. Especially since the fleece material goes into the sleeve just a bit so the arm doesn't slide in as well as if the smoother material came up higher. But once I get it on, the fit is as I like it so I don't want to go up to a medium. Just a small thing. All in all, a fantastic jacket!
