This is a great coat. It was purchased as a gift for my husband; he likes the built-in hood and the fact that it's light and warm at the same time. We both like the color block style. I would recommend it to others.

Love the jacket. It's light and warm. HOWEVER, last year I ordered a similar one in the size I usually wear with other brands and it was far too SMALL. You will need to order one size larger.

As other reviewers have said, this is a great winter jacket as it is very light weight and also keeps you warm while blocking out the wind. It has deep pockets which are appreciated. All in all, a very comfortable, warm, light weight winter jacket!

I bought this coat in the red color, size xxl tall. I'm 6'5 and 227lbs. I probably could have gotten away with the xl tall but it's got a little room for a hoody underneaths if it gets real cold. Anyway, here in SW Washington it rains a ton. I use this for my walking coat while I listen to music. I recently walked about 4 miles in a very steady heavy rain and it did not get wet inside. I know these are more of a dry weather cold environment coat, but it held up great. I was warm and cozy, I'd buy another!!!

I bought this jacket for a trip to Finland (above the Arctic Circle) because my older winter jacket (Columbia) was large, heavy and bulky. I am happy to report this jacket worked amazingly well, I was not cold and it is light, easy to stuff into baggage and comes out looking fantastic for each wear. We were in temps as cold as -4f and this jacket did exactly what it should have - kept me warm! In fact, I was a walking LLBean commercial in the Arctic - wore LLBean boots, lined pants, lined jacket and this outer jacket.

Husband loves the jacket. We ordered a tall medium and it fits perfect. The blue and grey color are beautiful. Only complaint he has is the texture on the inside of the sleeves, it is different then the rest of the jacket.

Purchased for Son who is Freshman in college. He likes the colors, fit and weight. Should keep him warm Thai winter walking to classes.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The 650 down is puffy enough to keep you warm without being too puffy and hot for daily life chores. The zipper can come up way past your chin and with the hood on your face and neck stays warm without being too much. I took this out in 20degree weather with 25-30 mph winds and was perfectly warm walking around the neighborhood for over an hour with only a T-shirt underneath. I needed a new jacket because I was wearing two or three layers to walk to work and it was getting to be too annoying. Not any more, this jacket will keep me warm. The quality and comfort is exactly what you expect from LL Bean. Would buy again.

Purchased a medium, which was a bit snug. A large was to big.

I purchased this coat for my son. He is a fan of the weight and warmth of the coat. He also likes the colorblock style. The coat fits him well, keeps him warm, he likes it, and I like the price point! Highly recommend.

The jacket is great and has a wonderful fit like my previous purchases. However, the color isn't really close to what it appears to be online. The jacket looked to be white in the middle, but it's certainly a grey. However, the center color isn't mentioned in the details, so it was a shock. I've grown to like it, but it took me by surprise.

This is a great down jacket it's not bulky but also very warm. I bought it for when I travel because it won't take up a lot of room when I pack it in a suitcase

This jacket has a fantastic tailored fit that keeps the cold out at the cuff, the waist, and the hood fits perfectly over a winter hat. It is very warm at 650 fill power. Excellent purchase for the money.

Great looking jacket. Very light weight, very warm. Wish it weren't so " fitted". Lots of clothes are these days.
