I am 5"7 210 lbs. I had to buy a XXL to get it to fit. I am at best a XL size you need to check your sizing chart.

Love this jacket! Light and warm. If it had an inside or breast pocket, I would have given 5 stars!

XXL fits just right on 225 frame. Hood is nice to retain heat and jacket is good for 40 degrees or warmer. Lightweight, good for travel. Would like to have a couple more pockets.

Appears to be an attractive, well-made jacket. I couldn't get one that fit me properly so I have no 'wearing' experience. Disappointed because it was just what I was looking for. I imagine I would have recommended it.

Warm coat but shirt sleeve don't slide easy through the coat sleeves.

The coat fits well and so far has kept me warm on 30-45 degree days, which is what I purchased it for. I usually have a long-sleeved shirt and a sweater on underneath and that makes the sleeves tight. It is also hard to get my arms through the end of the sleeves without having my sweater sleeve bunch up. The sleeve issue is the reason for 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5.

Warm jacket, fits nicely over shirt, a bit snug over a sweater, can be packed in small volume

Love the way the coat looked. Relatively warm fairly comfortable except the arms a very narrow. Too tight in the arms kind of weird

My other LL Bean jacket wasn't quite warm enough for some colder temps. Decided to make the entry into down. Not disappointed in this purchase at all. Took it last weekend snowshoeing at 9500-10k feet in altitude and it was plenty warm with layering. More than happy with this for the price compared to other comparable jackets at nearly double the price. Lastly, shout out to the LL Bean store in the Denver area for ordering this when it wasn't in stock at their store. I was able to try on some sizes and it arrived at my house in about a week. Great crew there!

Great jacket just didn't like the bit of fleece on the inside. Others may like it. Good value and quality.

Love the jacket for a dry and mild winter/fall. Wore it daily from high 40s to low 30s/high20s and it works great. Anything colder than that and I might want a heavier jacket (the other 850 jacket that Bean sells works great!). My biggest complaint is that although the jacket is very very light, it seems to be lacking in down fill. Would love if it had like 30-50% more down.

This is a slightly fitted jacket looks great on but runs a little small in the upper arms. If you a broad in the chest and upper arm, this may not be the jacket for you.

This is a really nice jacket, although it seems to run a little small, compared to another LL Bean jacket I already have. I would suggest ordering up one size.

Runs small. All my other lab jackets are L or M. I had to buy. Had to buy XL

Appears to be a very well made, warm jacket. I wish it had a chest pocket for cell phone, gloves, glasses, etc. The fit is slightly fitted so it isn't too bulky but the fleece lining makes it a little difficult to put on.

Love this jacket. Didn't get a 5 star rating, because there is no chest pocket for my phone. Otherwise a great jacket!

Great mid priced jacket. Good quality zipper. I did have to take it to the tailor to shorten the sleeves as they were a little too long but other than that its super jacket. 4 stars for sleeves a little on the long side. I'm a happy camper.

Very warm jacket. One issue the feathers keep coming out. That is only drawback.

The jacket was very nice. I failed to recognize it was a "hoodie" style which does not work for me. It was snug and would certainly be warm in the coldest environment.

First, I have to say that this is a warm jacket and has kept me warm in 10-degree weather with the wind chill. The peculiar part is that it doesn't fit all that well around the armpit, shoulder, bicep area which makes it difficult to layer with a hoodie or light jacket underneath. You can wear them, but they just feel a bit tight with it on, especially when yo are working and moving around a bit.

Very warm and fit. As many reviewers have said, the sleeve can be tight and can result in the inner lining coming out when pushing the hand out. Otherwise love it. Large is medium, so always pick one size bigger.

My coat is very warm and comfortable, but the lining is a "rough" material rather than a smooth. Thus, when I put it on it causes the sleeves on my shirt to pull up my arm. My previous L. L. Bean coat had a smooth silky lining.
