I have to agree with all the poor reviews Ive just read. I, too have purchased my 3rd pair of Oboz Sawtooth waterproof hikers, and they are not the same as the previous two pairs. Without repeating what has already been said, I Ont be buying another pair. Why do manufacturers do this? Merrills did the same thing when they sold to another company, and changed the quality. It really blows! Where do you find excellence? I wish Canada and the U.S. would start manufacturing again.

Just love my Oboz hiking shoes. This is my second pair. My first pair lasted for years. And Ive never gotten a blister from either pair of these shoes. I wear them fairly often.

Im so disappointed that youve changed the proportions, foot plan, fit of this boot. I cant possibly be comfortable in it and this is after this model had fit perfectly for many years. I had to send it back. Unless you can find me a pair of the old model on one of your shelves, Im sorry to say you have lost a customer.

I think I liked my last style sawttooths better They seemed More solid around the heel

This is my fourth pair of Oboz Sawtooth hikers. They suit my needs as an environmental educator - sometimes muddy conditions on trails and on my feet allllll day.

Ive been wearing this style of shoes for a few years now as my every day shoe. They helped me cure my plantars fasciitis.

Purchased these shoes thinking they would fit similar to the Sawtooth II low waterproof. Much more narrow and stiff and the heel would often slip. I tried several times to wear them thinking they would break in eventually. Not the case. Sending these to the local Goodwill. Please keep making the original version. I have had the same pair for 7 years and they have held up incredibly well.

Very comfortable, great traction, didnt need to break these in at all. I love the wide toes and the tighter fit in the heel.

As is often the case, I bought a pair(size 10) in a store, hiked in them a week later, and discovered that my spread-toed, bunioned, left foot hurt after 5 miles(right foot was fine). Solution: because the front half is leather, I was able to stretch out the left shoe by inserting a cotton ball soaked in Shoe Stretch with a high-quality adjustable wooden shoe stretcher. Much better! However, I will purchase a 10.5 pair, which will be good for my left foot. Sigh... I have to wear 2 dif. shoe sizes as I approach elderly years. That's the way it goes!

Sizing seems to be a bit larger than other styles in same size. I prefer round laces versus flat ones. Shoes are good for trails in the woods and wet ground.

So sad. Up until this current version, this boot was the only one Ive ever bought that was comfortable out of the box. They were as comfy as sneakers but sturdy enough for backpacking. Ive bought several pairs in the past. This years redesign completely changed that. The entire fit is different now, and lower volume. They no longer fit me feet. Im extremely disappointed with this, and hope Oboz will bring back the earlier versions. Wish they hadnt messed with a good thing.

these are the best hiking shoes i've ever had. I love the wide toe box!!!!! Please do not discontinue these!

i hate the new x model, too squished . too small. I love the sawtooth II model, please dont discontinue it. I love the wide toe box on the sawtooth II model.

I just both my first pair of Oboz today at EMS. They fit so well and I'm not going to have to put my orthotic in bc the arch support is great. Caveat - I've not worn them on the trail yet but I think these are going to be awesome!

Ive been wearing this shoe for many years. The latest model that I just purchased is just too loose in the heels, making it especially difficult to walk on steep slopes. Ive tried every way I can think of modifying how I tie them, but nothing works. I have to return them, and I guess, look for another brand.

The shoes feel good especially with the width. I just need to get use to the "low" versus the "mid" that I have worn for years.

Great service, bought them for all the kids for Christmas - good quality and loved the sale price that made it doable

This is my first pair of Oboz. I have worn them a few times and I am extremely pleased with the fit and comfort. Can't wait to wear them on the trails!

Does not fit like my old Sawtooth size 11, need to go up to size 12, but unfortunately there are no exchanges.

I have owned 3 pairs of the previous Waterproof low Sawtooth. I just tried on the new version and beg you to bring back the old model as the fit was far superior. In fact, there was nothing like them on the market. Why did you change a great thing?

These are probably the most uncomfortable hiking shoes Ive ever owned. The heel is super rigid and was giving me blisters if I walked for more than a mile. 6 months later and many many hikes, they are still not broken in. Stay far away from this model.

I have had Oboz for years and love them. This pair is just as comfortable as my others. And I love the color!!!
