Just as I'd feared, the new (summer 2022) Sawtooth X Low is NOTHING like the pair I've been wearing every day for 2+ years. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! The footbed is completely different making my ankles roll inward, the collar is too wide so even with laces cinched in the tightest position, the shoes slip against my heels, the toe bumper is gone and the "look" (women's model in dark sand) is just plain hideous. WHY do shoe manufacturers keep "fixing" what ain't broke?! Two thumbs down. Thanks Zappos for easy returns.

These women's Oboz Sawtooth X Low B-Dry shoes are nothing like the ones I've been living in and loving for years. The footbed and arch support feel "off" with this newer model- nowhere near the support I used to enjoy. The ankle collar also felt wider and they slipped against my heels. (Definitely would have caused blisters had I kept them.) Even the front toe bumper is gone now, replaced by a thin rubber strip, and the laces are just thin flat braids that are hard to adjust- not the smooth round cords that were easy to grab and lasted forever. Very disappointing, esp. after the long shipping delay. Had to send them back.

I've had several pairs of Oboz's over the years and love the fit but this is the first time I've been disappointed. My current Sawtooth pair is the same size as this new pair (size 9) but the toe box height is lacking. I can barely wiggle my toes up/down, everywhere else it fits, heel and arch. Unfortunately, toes need a bit of wiggle room so will be sending these back.

These are actually way cuter than I expected. I've been buying Oboz for about 5 years now, and I couldn't find the other Sawtooth low b-dry that I had previously bought, so I decided to try these. I've been wearing them for about 1 week now and I am loving them. I live in wet Oregon, where staying dry is #1 right now, and these are great in the rain. I walk my dog 2 miles every day on a gravel incline and I can't feel the gravel beneath my feet, which is also important. I'll try to take photos later, but wanted to share that I do really like these shoes!

After trying on Oboz, I knew these were the boot for me. I ordered a size 8 as they do run a little narrow (normally wear 7-1/2) and they fit my feet perfectly. Even with a plantar fasciitis sleeve on, they are a comfortable fit. No break in period needed. They're great for walks on our dirt road, or for everyday wear. Looking forward to wearing them out on the trail. Sharp looking boot.

Took time to break in as sole is not as flexible as I hoped. Definitely needed the wide width. Well made but too stiff material. Color great. Waterproofing is a plus.

The Sawtooth x s tongue has been sewn into the shoe. The fabric that gives the tongue movement bunches and causes the shoe to be uncomfortable. I am frequently stopping and trying to adjust the laces to loosen the tongue so it does not dig into the foot. I bought these shoes for comfort and support. This shoe does not meet my expectations.

This shoe seems to be sturdy and well-made. My problem is with the fit. I've worn both the Sawtooth and Katabatic hiking boots and been very happy, so ordered the size that works for me with those. I was wrong. These shoes were much too tight and went back the next day. I lost $8 because of returning them. I don't want to keep losing money buying different sizes to see if I can find something that fits, so I'm giving up on this model.

I normally wear a sz 8 - Keens are my go to shoe. I love the look of these, love the traction but man are they narrow. I'm going to try 1/2 sz up to a full sz up to see if that helps. I was thinking they would stretch out but after wearing them for 2 dog walks it doesnt seem that wearing them in is the issue. Really good looking shoe and I am hoping sizing up helps me.

What a disappointment. I have a pair of Oboz that I've worn for dry hiking and needed a pair that were waterproof. I love the old pair which I purchased in 2017. The new ones -- waterproof or not -- are a completely different animal. The shape of the shoe has changed, but most importantly, the laces are cheap, flat, and very difficult to tighten. I'd return these in a flash if I didn't need them. For any Oboz fan, think twice before relying on this shoe as a replacement for the Oboz you've had in the past.

I am so disappointed! This shoe fits nothing like the previous Sawtooth. I had worn these shoes daily for over 7 years and have owned at least 8-10 pairs. The new version is so narrow in the toe box and just does not fit the same. It is not comfortable at all. Unfortunately, I will no longer be an Oboz customer and am in the process of looking for a replacement shoe!

I was disappointed to find pet hair inside both shoes. I have bought Oboz shoes before and noticed these shoes were not in the original box or paper. I paid full price for these shoes but it appears they have been worn. The shoes fit great and are what I've been looking for. I kept them only because I wear a hard to find size and no other shoe is available.

After finding less expensive waterproof hiking shoes lacking in comfort and support, I decided to take a step up to the Oboz Sawtooth X B-Dry Hikers. My first impression was that they were too tight - I felt the pressure at the toes that others have mentioned, and on one shoe, the outer gusset area of the tongue pressed hard on my foot. I took them off right away, but decided to try again the next day. I spent time lacing them just right, and magically, they felt as if they were custom-made for me. The arch support is the best I've ever had in a shoe. I often have discomfort in the hip flexor area, and these shoes actually relieve that - completely unexpected. And the heel-to-toe motion when walking is perfect - I now realize that other shoes make me walk unnaturally. The gusset area that I referred to is still an annoyance, but it doesn't rub my foot, it's just a pressure point. These are excellent shoes.

I love the Oboz hiking shoes. They are very comfortable. I realized my feet had grown a half size up. I bought a similar pair that allowed for toe room.

I've owned a pair of Obz hikers before and would probably still be wearing them if it weren't for my feet changing over time. My left foot has gotten wider, and after two surgeries (ending in a bone fusion), the ball of my right foot is now thicker. I needed a hiking shoe with a roomier toe box, so I decided to try Obz againthis time in a Wide width, same size (9.5).
They're extremely comfortable and supportive, and my feet never feel cramped, even after a half-day hike. I'm really glad I came back to this brand.

So far so good!! They hug my feet when on - no free space which is good. You don't even feel like there on your feet. Have hiked with them about 6 times no complaints.

I love these shoes! They are super comfortable and don't feel heavy after I hiked several miles. They are light weight, similar to a sneaker, but rugged for the kind of terrain where I'm hiking. Highly recommend.
