Great product but I had planned to use it as a hip pouch on my belt while I am at work (farmwork). The Velcro doesn't hold it shut if I am moving around a lot. I had to discontinue using it. I don't think I overfilled it (100ml tube sunscreen, Leatherman multi tool, phone and some gloves) I like all the Peak Design gear that I own. They make great stuff. The Velcro just ruins this for me (they are very clear in their marketing material that this is secured shut with Velcro, I just didn't realize it would be a problem)

Very nice minimal bag for the essentials. I think it could look better quality if the black one also has leather accents. It's very small so it can't really contain too much, the strap also would randomly disconnect sometimes.

I purchased this a few months ago with the goal of using it on a trip to Europe. It worked out very well, EXCEPT that the inner zipper was a real pain in the neck to operate. In addition the clips holding the shoulder strap were not stable and came undone on several occasions, causing me to almost lose the pouch. Bad design here.

I've used this for several months now as my EDC bag. Overall, I'm pleased with it. I just have one critique and one wish: Critique: I don't like the velcro. The velcro on the flap catches on my sleeves/clothing. It would be nice if the flap closed magnetically instead. Wish: I wish the pouch was slightly larger in all dimensions, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I have a few of the Field Pouch V1. Even though I don't use them super often, one particular instance where I do use a Field Pouch is to quickly add an extra 2+/- liters to any of my Peak Design Everyday Slings by using the "belt loops" to slide it onto the sling's strap. This allows for adding a light kit or bunch of filters and charger pretty much on-the-fly. I use my midnight 6L sling the most and thought I would get a matching Field Pouch V2. So far, though, I have found absolutely zero use for the Field Pouch V2. I may just be used to arranging things in the V1, but the interior pockets of the V2 are practically useless, not to mention being made much less robust then the old version. The interior pockets are all too small and the same [kind of lame] thin, unrefined slits of fabric that are in the tech pouch and other new bags. I can't even fit a camera battery charger in any of the pockets of the Field Pouch V2. Here is what I would like to see in future Field Pouches: 1. Revert back to the old pocket arrangement. I'm not opposed to the zipper part being on the back panel but all of the other new pocket sizes are too small. 2. The Field Pouch should come in sizes - three, to be precise. The current model should be the "medium". There should also be a "small" at about half the width of the current version - this would be useful for filters or a small camera. Then there should be a "large" that is at least 50% wider - I would love for the Field Pouch to be able to hold a travel tripod (any tripod larger than a tabletop but smaller than full-size). 3. The strap should be a separately-purchased add-on. Most other similar straps on the PD site can be purchased separately - make it available for those that might actually use it instead of including it in all Field Pouches. 4. Having the Field Pouch be Capture compatible should be a "nice to have" but I really don't think it's useful enough to be on the bag at all. I don't use Capture with this bag - does anyone else really? The bag could be much better to compress without all of the fabric to make those loops. (Honestly - on all PD bags - I would prefer to see similar loops in a horizontal orientation to be able to attach other things like a water bottle pouch.)

I purchased this for an everyday pouch for my Lumix GX85. While is does the job, it's not the greatest to be honest. You can fit a decent amount of stuff in this pouch though. Pros: Peak Design quality construction Outer shell and inner shell material Cons: The velcro. It catches my Apple Watch band almost every time. It really feels like PD cheaped out on this one. Where are the magnets you are known for? The opening. It might be beneficial to have slits down the sides? I'm not 100% but it can make it difficult to access certain pockets.

As captioned, the Velcro wears off after months use Maybe it's time to switch to other more durable and secure alternative in your new product design

I wanted a real small bag for something like a Ricoh GR or Sony RX100. It is great that I can attach any PD strap (I have Leash) but it comes with a simple adjustable strap. But honestly I can't seem to find a good use for it. I like to carry a water bottle and even though the stated size seems that a small (0.5l) might fit it kinda makes it awkward to close the pouch. I tried attaching the capture clip but it makes the whole bag very cumbersome and too heavy for the strap. Most of the time I just ended up using my 6l sling. One use I found was to fold it flat and store it in the laptop compartment of my Everyday Backpack (30l) when I do a weekend trip. I would use the pouch at my destination with a small camera and small bottle. The sling would be better but this way I only carry the backpack on the train and not another bag over the shoulder. It is a very niche product. The price is quite alright but only really justified if you can find a good use. Mine resides mostly at home unfortunately.

I'd like to preface that I am pretty picky when it comes to comfort and functionality. I was looking for something that would hold my everyday carries like compact camera, keys, extra chargers, batteries. field notes/pens, etc. It does the job. Construction is exceptional. The little pockets inside are awesome. However, I felt a little dissatisfied as soon as I started packing things in... The main reason is because of the shape of the pouch at the bottom. It's caved in from all sides and seamed that way so it doesn't fit things in as nicely as it would if it was just flat bottom. Because of this reason, I find myself reaching out to a different bag for my EDC. I have lots of keys, Ricoh GR, Sony ZV1 to generally pack in and it just doesn't fit well. The size isn't the issue, but the shape for me. I still like it enough to keep it but it's definitely not my EDC as I expected it to be. I'd still recommend this product but would be clear about the shape of the pouch to consider.

I'd like to address issues with the Field Pouch V2. I've observed a technical problem with its strap, which consistently comes off. This inconvenience has affected the overall usability and reliability of an otherwise excellent product. The pouch has just enough space for a Mirrorless DSLR but don't expect more. I would say, not very ideal as a camera pouch but only for day-to-day belongings

I love the design of this pouch. The size is great, the strap is nice for the size and the pockets are well designed. The big flaw is the Velcro. Having that loud noise every time you get something out of your bag was too much for me.

Been using this for a month now. Strap becomes disconnected half the time. Velcro closures don't work and keys and wallet on the ground more than inside. Too small.

The size of "8 internal stretch pockets" are halfway, and hard to use. The old version(V1) of the pocket was easier to use. I don't need that many pockets for SD cards in particular.

I love Peak products and love this bag, but will have to return it because the strap will not stay on. I wear it as a cross-body and have used it 5x and 4 of the 5 times it fell onto the ground. Luckily I felt it happen and was able to retrieve it. Love the pouch, but the strap does not stay on.

Do not buy this product from here, it does not come with the strap as advertised. Get it from some other site.

This bag gets one star, due to the Velcro being so incredibly harsh. The Velcro manages to snag and damage fabrics, including the nice PD strap I had bought for the camera in the bag. So far, it's just aesthetic damage, but a lot of the allure of PD products is the clean look. A brand new Smartwool top was also damaged by the Velcro on this bag. It is very harsh on the skin. I pulled my camera out of the bag to upload photos and the skin on my arm still hurts a bit from the abrasion. I was being careful about it too, so I can't imagine what it is like for someone out in the field who is trying to pull something from the bag quickly. I'm very disappointed, because I've only used the bag a couple of times, but I am outside of the return window because I bought it a few weeks in advance to take on a 10 day trip, so I'm just stuck with it and hoping I can alter it in some way. I simply can not endorse a product that causes damage to other products.
