I picked one of these up a month ago. I have since travelled to Asia on a photography tour. This allowed me to carry a Fuji mirrorless along with a spare lens, plus spare battery and a couple of cables. It give me quick access to my gear, and a secure way to carry it. Especially helpful when travelling by plane and public transport, and for discreetly carrying gear when exploring unfamiliar streets. It's just the right size, comfortable and very quick to adjust and open. I used it sling style, sometimes front or back, but will be trying it on the belt too. I've tried 3 other products like this over the years from other brands and this is superior in so many ways. Looks great too!

I got the field pouch as a Christmas gift and I've used it constantly since. I keep essential items in it and it's great to toss into whatever bag I'm using for the day.

The Field Pouch V2 is the perfect ultra light and minimal carry sling pack, that doubles as a pouch in your backpack, or can be carried as a sling with the straps provided, making it highly versatile in many situations. While using it as a minimal carry pack, you will be forced to rethink what to pack in it and only the essentials. Holds your phone, keys, average bi-fold wallet, a small torch light, tissues and wireless earbuds with ease.

I bought this hoping that I'd be able to fit my Fuji X-T2 & lens inside, for a super small daily carry kit. I wasn't sure if it would fit, and it didn't, but I'm now happily using it as a bag for all my random bits and pieces I got bored of swapping between bags.

I've been looking for years for a perfect pouch to be able to carry my GoPro and carry my dog's essentials for extended backpacking trips. As a photographer, I love taking my companion Damon everywhere I go, with the weight of a pack and having to be connected to my dog on a leash; the right accessory was a must. With the Field Pouch V2 I can have my GroPro clipped (with the capture clip) ready to record any relevant moments, with the accessibility to provide the necessities for my dog while we walk and within the forest.
Highly recommend! You can always mix and match with Peak Design products, which makes it into very versatile range of products.

I happily own the PD Field Pouch v1 in Ash and v2 in Midnight Blue. It is such a versatile bag. Fantastic featurescan load it out, wear it on your belt, cinch it down tight and compact with lite carryeven non-photo stuff, and can also use as a lens changer bag especially with a mirrorless setup. PD had a great first version and really refined it with this new v2. Very nicely done. So, think about adding the Field Pouch to your bags of choice. Remember you can use it on its own or with another bag. Your choice.

Purchased to go with my everyday bag and tech pouch to keep things organized and tidy. Same quality you can come to expect from peak design and I love the modularity in size and utility of this pouch. It carries battery banks some days, HDMI cables for work and for vacations its my extra anything bag

Excellent product. I wanted a sling to declutter my pockets around town, but didn't want one of the larger capacity bags because I wanted a slimmer profile. This fit the bill, and has done double duty as an around town bag plus as a travel sling. In the airport, it held my iPad mini, foldable water bottle, portable battery, and phone all without complaint. I wish it had a zippered closure on the top instead of the velcro, but I do also like that the velcro gives it some modularity. So all in all, excellent product.

Looks great, holds X100 on PD Leash, with two batteries, PD Sling and then some.
Use it as a sling bag or inside my work bag.

I realized recently that i'm tired of stuffing my pockets. Wallet, phone, keys were somewhat manageable, but once our phones got bigger and we started adding airpods and masks to the mix it started to become unwieldy and unsightly. I saw a bunch of gen-z'ers resuscitating fanny packs from the 90s and realized they might be onto something. My millennial envy compelled me to investigate further.
I was a bit nervous about buying the field pouch since it's one of the lower reviewed Peak Design products. I can only speak for my use case, but I love this thing. I bought it about two months ago and used it for both everyday carry as well as during recent domestic and international travel. Very occasionally I stuffed a camera (Sony a7Rii) in there with either a 35mm or in one case my 24mm gmaster.
One thing worth mentioning is that I don't use the default strap that came with it; instead, I opted for the Slide strap since it's so easy to adjust on the fly. I sling the strap across my shoulder and usually allow the field pouch itself to rest on my side or behind me. In crowded spaces or when wearing the travel backpack I'd swing it to the front so I could keep a closer relate on it.
At all times I kept my keys, phone, wallet, chapstick, and a pen in my field pouch. When I was out for longer I'd bring my iphone charger too. During travel it was handy to keep my passport and hold onto receipts in the zipped compartment. On sunny days I often carried my sunglasses in their soft case in the pouch as well. Mask and tissues/wipes were commonly in there too.
All of the above were my "baseline" everyday carry during my travels and the field pouch was perfect for holding all of these items the pouch still had a slim profile and never felt bulky. I was not only achieving my goal of having nothing in my pockets, but also carrying "just-in-case" items without having to bring something bulky or heavy like a sling bag or backpack. Another key advantage is that in the airport nobody counts the pouch as a personal item since it's so small and attached to your body so in transit I was able to carry-on my Travel Backpack, my (old school) 10L Everyday Sling and the Field Pouch. I could also consolidate and stuff it into either bag when I needed to.
For everyday carry the field pouch is a delight. I didn't mind the velcro at all - I felt that traveling Europe it added some peace of mind since if anybody tried to pickpocket me I would probably hear it. Less convenient during a quiet meeting or when in a movie theater, of course. But as long as i wasn't overpacking I felt velcro did a secure enough job of protecting things. Would I prefer magnets? Sure. But at this price point I really am not bothered by velcro as much as others seem to be.
The only time when I really pushed the limits of the Field Pouch was when I tried to bring my camera with me. In those cases I'd usually take out most of the items so that my camera and my Cuff would be the only in the pouch. In these cases since my full body mirrorless camera was relatively large, the pouch would be in it's unfolded form and the velcro just barely closed. In these cases I felt more nervous so again would swing the pouch in front of me keep a closer eye. Overall though I decided fairly early on that this would not be a primary way of carrying around my camera; I'd only resort to this in a pinch. Smaller cameras would probably work better.
Overall a clutch purchase that I'm happy about. The key is generally not to overstuff it and you'll be fine. Finally it looks really sleek in midnight and I've received lots of compliments. Gen-z'ers watch out! This functional field pouch is almost making look and feel as hip as you.

Bought several weeks ago and never missed a day using it as my EDC bag for everything i want to carry with me, without stuffing it all into my pockets.
I like the flexibility to add more space, if needed and like all products from peak design: simple, clean and elegant design.
The Velcro works great for me and until know i didn't have any problems with it.
When carring cross-body a addtional pad or something like that added to the strap would be great, to avoid irritation on the neck if carried over long time.
I can highly reccomend the Field Pouch V2.

So I was looking for a simple, affordable, hip and body pouch... The PD field pouch was the answer.
I actually looked at brands that were 4-6x more expensive but all had serious compromises. The Field Pouch v2 is everything I needed.
I travel the world for my work and I needed a small pouch that would hold the essentials and make airport security easier by allowing me to have empty pockets. In the pouch I carry my passport, 2 wallets for currencies, my phone (Surface Duo 2), a fold flat UK usb charger, 9ft charging cable and a bag of sweets for the plane. I added a nice small carabiner to clip my water bottle to.
Amazing. Love it. Perfectly designed.

I use this bag for my sketching materials, not really any camera stuff - I find it too small for my DSLR setup. But for holding a sketchbook, watercolours and a selection of mediums it is brilliant, light, small and simple. I really like it. And it packs away into a larger backpack easily.

I use it for camera stuff like Emory cards and batteries as well as like a little purse. Use the clips and a leash and you set up for a cool little purse/carry bag for all the things. Epic.
