I bought a 6L bag and wanted to use it for Canon 6D mark II with 24-105 lens. The interior depth of the bag is too low to work comfortably for the camera. I wish they made a version of this bag that worked for full frame DSLRs. Overall I loved the build quality, materials and looks and if it had fitted the camera I would totally use it

I've had a gray 3L for a year and a black 6L for about a month now. By and large, they are wonderful, I've really enjoyed them. The folding dividers are excellent, and so many little details have been thought through to make a wonderful bag. The 3L works great as a daily bag with an X100 sized camera, and the 6L fits a bigger setup like an X-Pro and a few lenses. I've got these 2, plus a 30L, capture clip, and 3 straps, so full kool-aid drinker here. That said, there's a few things I'd offer as constructive criticism for these excelllent bags:
1. The strap is the weakest link. On the 6L, it actually hurts after a while if you load it up. I'm probably going to order an after-market pad, which kinda feels like a fail. On the 3L, I find it slips very slowly as I walk around with it, so I have to readjust it after a while. With the gray color, it looks a little haggard now after a year of daily use. Still fully functional, just a little disappointing.
2. The gray color doesn't seem to hold up as well as the black. After a year, it's a bit yellowed and faded compared to a new one.
Despite these little niggles, I wouldn't want another bag, these are exactly what I want, both inside and out. (maybe except the strap)

These comments are about the 6L sling. I shoot Fujifilm so my gear is smaller but cervical and shoulder problems affect my need for the perfect bag. There is a lot to like about the 6L sling. It is very well made, good materials, tight seams, high quality and pilfer-proof zippers. Having hinges on the ends of the strap is a brilliant idea. The configurable interior compartments are just right. The problem is with the strap. I want the bag hung over my left/subdominant shoulder, leaving my right arm and hand free for the camera. My complaint is that the pad on the strap is in a fixed position. It doesn't slide to where you need it to be. I am tall and leave the strap fully extended. The pad falls in front of my shoulder, which is uncomfortable and makes the bag fall off my shoulder easily. If you could slide the pad along the strap to the place you want (and ideally clip it in place there), the bag would be about perfest.

i originally got the 6L, not fully understanding that the 10L was designed specifically for full-frame cameras. the 6L was useful, but not exactly what i needed. it does a great job of holding a couple of lenses, a flash, and a few other items, but what i really needed was the 10L. i ended up ordering that one as well. i love it, it does almost everything i need it to. the only gripe i have about both bags is that there is no way i would ever use the capture clip where it's intended to go. if i have this thing strapped to my back, i don't want my camera dangling behind me, i think it should always be visible to me so that i don't inadvertently damage it, and if something goes flying off, i want to know right before it happens or as it's happening.
other than that, it's a great bag!

I upgraded to this bag from the Version 1. I like the new sleek design much better, the old one felt a bit awkward especially when full. I also find the newly designed shoulder strap to be more comfortable over the older bag. The only thing that somewhat detracts for me is that I wish there were more external side pockets where I could fit small often used items like batteries and memory cards.

I bought this back two months ago but haven't fallen in love with it.
1) To bulky
2) I can only fit my Sony camera and two lenses
3 Can't use back hidden pocket when camera and lenses are in.
If I wanted to use it as an everyday sling it would be way to bulky to walk around with. I would rather use my backpack than this size everyday sling.

Major difficulty is very rigid structure. Getting my Q-3 in and out not simple, fluid. Actually difficult. Purchased the 3 L for size when on street shoot. Size OK Interior nor easy to access.

I've been super happy with this bag, except for one thing. The lack of a stabilizer strap really bugs me. I personally wanted to use this bag a lot in cross-body messenger mode, but without a stability strap, it moves around too much. It makes it pretty annoying to use if you're moving around a lot like on a hike or riding a bike.
If that doesn't bug you, then this bag will be a 5/5. I hope PD thinks about selling a stabilizer strap as an addon or something. That would take this bag to perfect for me.

First of all, I'm a big fan of Peak Design products...I have over 10 PD products (lost count) and 5 are backpacks/bags.
With my latest purchasr the 10L Sling, I did notice a few things that can be approved. 1. The opening for the laptop/tablet can be made a little friendlier for devices pushing the size limit. This is obviously device dependent but the zipper kind of robs the bag 1/2 inch on each side. 2. The holes/pockets to hide the straps are the right size for the straps but doesn't poke through (i.e. doesn't open on the other side)...it's nitpicking but I feel that it could trap dirt over time. 3. This is a true issue in my opinion. The material is quite abrasive. I was wearing a brand new merino wool sweater with the Sling 10 on my back walking around taking pictures in downtown Toronto for a couple of hours and the bag probably rubbed off 1/3 of the sweater's thickness! Give it a full day and I would have a huge hole in the sweater! Perhaps adding a layer of less abrasive material to the back of this bag might help.

Well put together but so tight it's difficult to get at the zippers or stretch the mouth opening to adjust the shelves inside or easily slide my mirror less camera in and out. The tiny front (outside) pocket is also incredibly tight so I never use it. Sturdy and good looking construction but no give at all.

Pros:
* Fits my a7rIII with a lens and I can pack an additional lens as well.
* Bag is very solid and not flimsy at all(this is actually a blessing and a curse)
* Built materials seem to be very good.
Cons:
* The stiffness of the bag makes it difficult to add more things in the bag. Yes I can buy a bigger bag but I like the size of this. Perhaps a 4L would have been better if they made one.
* Strap connector - I don't like their weird connector that they use to disconnect the strap. The metal clip they use is very thin and I don't see how it is much better than the traditional plastic connectors. It takes much longer to detatch.
* Extensions - The hooks on the extensions do not stay on unless you tie down an item. This could have been implemented better.
* Front pocket - It is very difficult to get things out of the front pocket because of the stiffness of the bag. Adding some sort of flex material for the front pocket would have been a better idea.
Overall, this bag would be perfect if it wasn't as stiff and if it was ever so slightly bigger. If I didn't get this as a gift I would have returned it ASAP.

I had my eye on this bag for a while but, after taking it on a long trip, I was disappointed with the results. The stiff frame doesn't provide as much give to stuff in other everyday accessories alongside the camera, and I ended up grabbing my tiny Lug backpack more often for daily outings. Also, when it's weighed down with stuff, the waist mode is seriously uncomfortable; I felt like a backwards kangaroo. But the WORST is the fabric. I have the grey model and after about an hour of wearing it, the bag's fabric nubbed up all of my pants. I ended up leaving it at home for long walking days because I didn't want it to ruin any more of my clothing. I may go all DYI on it and add a softer, more friction-friendly fabric to the back of the bag just so that I can confidently use it. Overall, it's a sturdy bag with excellent cushioning for camera and lenses, but not at all ideal for long days with a lot of walking.

I bought this for carrying a camera (both Fujifilm mirrorless, so not big) and occasionally an extra lens. The bag is well built, waterproof etc. all that it claims to be but I really don't like it. It's uncomfortable, slips on my shoulder so I'm constantly readjusting it's position and I find it reall hard to get my camera in and out even with a small prime lens. I really wish I'd saved my money. I'm seriously considering selling it Ager just 2
Weeks.

Having been a fan of PD bags since the V1 messenger, I really wanted to love the slings. However, both the V1 I own and the V2 I just returned have the same problem - the exterior fabric is so rough it's like wearing a sanding block on your back. The V1 caused excessive pilling on a cotton shirt after just one day (6-8 hours) of wear, on the exact spot where the bag sits on my lower back. The new V2 also gripped wool/cotton/jersey fabrics like velcro. The compartment layouts are on point but this one fact makes the slings unusable for me. :(
