Peak Design charges high prices for their products, arguing that they offer the highest quality and well thought-out features.
The overall quality impression is quite good, but the strap connections made of plastic reduce my quality impression. I would have liked to have the same material there, as in the carabiner (probably aluminum).
Another point has struck me negatively. The feature is advertised that the capture clip can be attached to the bag. Unfortunately, when you do that, you prevent the zipper from running freely. This could have been better considered in the design and development.
Furthermore, I noticed that the quick release does not have a blocking effect in any position. Gravity and the pull prevents slippage. Therefore, the bag must be lifted and the pull relieved to change the strap length (you can also see on the videos).
In sum, it can not keep the high advertising promises for me.

I carry two Leica M bodies. (Film & digital) each has a lens on it.(50mm) They fit nice and snug back to to back and feel protected. When both bodies have 50mm lens on them it can be a little hard to get cameras in and out of sling. The lenses catch on the inner pockets on the sides. Be great if those went away. Still figuring out what works best in inner and outer zip pockets. (Film, cloth) Love being able to tuck strap into the back of bag so it is out of the way. Compact, clean. For my two camera set up it is perfect.

I've purchased the bag a month ago to carry my mirrorless camera along with additional lens and few small items. The size of the bag is perfect for what I've purchased for, which is for short vacations. The bag is very comfortable to wear and is made of quality materials.

Bought bag to manage my daily clutch worth of man purse stuff as well as carry my design mtg essentials, (laser measure, 10' tape measure, notebook, glasses, thumb drive, etc. This review is nitpicking, because I hate reading glowing reviews and crave details to consider before purchasing things. But believe me, these are very tiny details. The bag is top notch design. Everything I wanted to elevate my man clutch uniform, haha.
Reaction after a few months is "Impeccably Durable and spectacular design". I can't get it dirty, even in my construction sites. But in terms of confirming to a body, breaking in the shape, not so much, we'll see. The padding and tightness remains, which I imagine would be exactly what I wanted if I were carrying a delicate camera. But it is this same inflated protection that makes a non camera user feel a bit at odds with the bag. We fit together, but in a slippery kinda "not as one" sorta way.
The durable exterior is puffed and almost slippery. A hard football just big enough to make it difficult to grab without grasping the handle or strap. Seems like a strange observation till you're in and out of the car & office all day. While at first a complaint, I'll recognize this makes it SOOO easy to swing it around while getting into said car, or to grab your phone or wallet and keep moving. So I guess ultimately it's a plus. The interior divisions are amazing. But that tightness again makes it hard in the 6 liter to use the tablet or wallet sections for anything other than a very thin paperback notepad.
Speaking of slippery, you'll love the strap. It is silky smooth and a pleasure to feel. I find though that the length adjuster can't really find purchase on the strap. Maybe because it's so deliciously silky? Maybe it will wear in a little. I find that I'm having to open, readjust, tighten up the strap and close it down again while just walking around. And the shoulder pad slips right off your shoulder when carrying as a shoulder sling/tote. Just so smooth! Haha . As a messenger bag/sling, this bag feels amazing on the small of your back. You forget it's there. This is where that slipperiness is perfect, to spin around your body.
The fabrics were obviously intentional and contribute to everything above, designed for the on the fly photographer.
I totally respect this and know I'm using a bag designed for something else to manage my everyday. That said, I think a lot of people are trying to do the same square peg round hole thing because the bags are so flawless.
Last observation: most of my clutch essentials and design stuff fit just as easily into the tech pouch, in a significantly smaller footprint. If I wasn't wanting to carry my glasses & laser measure in the same bag as my car keys and phone, the tech bag would be all I'd need.
Extremely professional looking. Would buy again. But hope it breaks in just a little so as to feel a little more human on me, in lieu of always in a Mars-rover-impact-bubble state of being.

First off the blue is amazing. Looks nice and is not overstated.
I purchased the 6L and somewhat regret it.
I have a Sony A7 RV and a 24-70 lens, it does fit but not with an iPad or similar device in that slot. I wish they would have made it a little deeper to handle the size better.

I bought this as a small "take anywhere" bag and it works well for that. Everything is a compromise and this bag is no exception. I like that it's padded and weather resistant but the compromise is the clamshell is a bit more cumbersome than a flop over design.

My brother gifted me the 6L version and I've thoroughly enjoyed using it the past month. It fits an A7 and a 24-70mm lens, along with my usual carry. My only gripe is that the tablet slot sits behind the zipper of the top side, making it hard to slot in a full-sized iPad to the point that it damaged my dbrand skin.

I use this as my edc with iPad and some accessories. Overall I love it. The only thing I wish were diff was a slightly better design for the tablet compartment. With a case on my iPad pro (10.5), I really have to squeeze it in through the opening. It's not that there's too little space in the tablet compartment, but I think the divider is just a bit too tall.

I love my everyday sling 6L, unfortunately the strap at the bag end constantly loosens. It's super annoying, I like the adjustable strap clasp gig, but that is nullified when the straps that weave through the plastic on the bag end constantly loosen until they even fallout! After all kinds of effort to make it stop, I finally put a piece of double sided tape in the loop of the plastic web. Ghetto but I'm not annoyed, although it annoys me that I need that to make it work as claimed.

I bought this a month ago and been using it daily. Been in snow and slight rain, happy with the product, i think it could use a penholder like the one in techpouch, i dont use the techpouch daily with the sling so i put it in the small pocket inside but a dedicated penholder could be nice. Also I am wary of using the extra straps because they are just hooks and not clasp like carabinners which gives me uneasyness that it will fail. Also having to carry that inside the small pocket when the pocket is already small enough makes the entire pocket seem very unorganized.

I purchased the 6L in Midnight as a manly diaper sling-bag and it's been working out so great my wife keeps stealing it for herself. I like that it stands up on its own (doesn't tip over), has organizers, easily maintainable fabric, and good zippers. Most of all, this sling's sleek design is way better than all the competitors out there like Timbuktu and Chrome.
The only few cons that I've noticed (when I compare with the other 4 Peak Design bags that I own) is that the strap is slippery. It's constantly sliding off my shoulder if I hang it over one shoulder (which happens a lot) and the strap feels a little thin (constantly twisting). The other con is that I wish the zipper would open more of the bag like the toiletry and gadget pouches. When I unzip it all the way, I have to force it open quite a bit to get access to my rolled up changing pad, bottle, or diapers.
That being said, I think it's acceptable given the fact that I chose between the 4L and 10L and this thing looks like it'll last for years. Cool dad here.

I received and set up my 10L Sling V2 (Black). Well, almost set up! The bag is spacious enough for my kit. However, I have an issue with the length of the strap.
When I adjust it to fit my 6' 1" height and barrel chest (50") with the strap pad in a good position for carrying in a sling position, all is OK. Extending the strap to rotate to the front of my body works well, but that's when things get tricky. The bag is now high enough above my waist that reaching in to retrieve my camera is not as comfortable as I would prefer. I am cramped!
I can adjust the strap length to make front position access much better, but then, shortening the strap and rotating it back to the sling carry position is uncomfortable as the strap pad is now incorrectly positioned and barely on top of my shoulder, if at all.
While I clearly understand that this is not your typical customer issue, this has reared its ugly head before with your Slide Lite strap. Thankfully you did offer a long version which I purchased and use today.
To sum up, while I'll keep my sling bag (it's much better than other alternatives), I'd be much happier if there was a long strap option (or an extension?) to make it perfect.
Not 100% happy, but close,

The quality - as it is always at Peak Design - is great. Everything in the Peak Design eco system works just fine together. Sometimes I wish the sling 6l would be a little bit more flexible or the sling has at least 1l more volume. An iPad Pro 11" does fit but without case. A small camera can be a little bit to big so that the zipper does not close smoothly.

...truth is, with one exception, I'm not. Great clean lines, simple yet effective, easily adjustable shoulder strap, capture compatibility...it's really a great bag. The only thing I wish is that the pockets were a bit easier to access. I have the 10L. This thing even fits my Canon RF 100-500 telephoto along with my R6 w/ 24-105 attached. I can even add a few accessories in the main compartment, leaving the front pocket for smaller bits or a snack. All this in a package that's not oppressively big.

It's a pity. I had to buy a grey version of the next to perfect day case. I wondered how people can design such a near perfect product and not bring it on the market in the colour "Sage". I use it as a case to cycle around with a Z7ii with a double prime kit. Mostly with a 105mc and a 50. The nifty fifty is sometime replaced by the 35/ 1.8 or the ultralight 24-50. Always carry a Spydercube inside. With an arca swiss plate on the Z7ii it just fits. Be aware you don't buy the 10L version. You will carry too much. Or should a just buy the ultra-small one and start the one lens challenge?

Have had a Everyday sling for a number of years now.
The quality of the workmanship is top notch and the bag looks great. My only gripe are the clip on tripod straps which if your not careful can easily be lost. I have managed to lose one. Otherwise it's a great bag.

I bought the 3l sling over one year ago, Overall im totaly happy with it. Love the quality materials, the smart and easy adjustable divider and most of all the pease of mind it provides me about my camera inside.
The only thing that I dont like is the front pocket, I dont use it. Idk if Im the problem but every time I try to open or close the ziper of the front pocket it gets stuck and I'm struggling to open or close it further. I get there in the end but I realy don't use the front pocket much because if that issue.
Exept for that in my opinion minor thing I realy like the sling in every other aspect.

- plastic buckle for taking the sling on/off faster
- the front pocket is very very tight, even for a phone
- collapsible bottle holder similar to the new WANDRD roam!

I purchased 3 liter sling for a walk around street photography with one mirrorless body and 2 lenses. The bag is extremely comfortable and functional. Small complaint, The front pocket is too tight even for a cell phone making it virtually unusable.

The sling is very neat. It has good good features and I like the structure and overall look a lot! However, it's not the greatest for insulated water bottles or comfort. Most insulated water bottles are too tall for it and the materials aren't the best against skin. They're durable and comfortable as long as I wear a jacket that covers my neck, but if I happen to not be wearing a jacket nor a hoodie, it rubs against my neck and it is not comfortable. Still very good option!

I ended up going with the 6L bag. I was excited to try the different configuration for my cam gear but I found that it just isn't practical for a large telephoto lens set up with one other small lens. This would be the perfect bag for someone that uses smaller primes and wants to carry a few other items. My Fui XT3 w/ XF 100-400 is far to large for this bag. I could fit my XF 50-140 in the bottom with one divider on top with my 16-55 w/ XT3 laying on it. This leaves little to no room for additional accessories. I will keep this bag for smaller lens outings. Great product quality and smooth zippers. The strap is very comfortable and easily adjustable, the front pocket seems almost useless once you have your camera gear in because of how narrow it is. I'll be sticking to a backpack with the capture clip for my larger telephoto set up.

Got the 6L to be my "personal item" on a 10day trip to Croatia. Some of the airlines we used had very restrictive carry-on requirements, but it turned out they didn't really enforce them and I could have got away with at least the 20L Everyday Backpack.
Pros:
-Held up well as my only bag for a summer day at Plitvice, carrying a mirrorless camera, fairly large lens, the PD aluminum tripod, and a few other odds and ends. Handled it capably
-Solid construction all around, material resistant to soaking in dirt and spills
-Good placement on the external carry loops. Perfect for the PD tripod or a jacket.
Cons:
-The primary strap was often awkward to adjust. It was hard to keep the extra strap length tucked away, and the strap itself could have been more comfortable on the heavier loadouts.
-Carrying the bag in waist-pack mode eas a non-starter for me. It was uncomfortable to the point of being painful if there was any sort of weight in the pack. Also the hook-and-loop connection you have to use in that mode is very hard to undo if the pack is tight enough to stay on your waist. My guess is the 3L is much better at this mode.
All said, it's a well-made pack that punches above its 6L weight class, but I can't imagine a time I would truly prefer it over a larger backpack or a more comfortable waist pack. The Navy color is smart though, so I may still try to make it work as a camera-murse in dressy situations.

I love the design of my 6L everyday sling and so far has been just what I need to carry my a6400 with a Tamron 28-200 mm and a 50 mm prime lenses, the front pocket is a little tight to carry almost anything and the "tablet" sleve is very thight to use it, I wish there was a way to carry my water bottle without having it bounce all around. Good quality so far, I don't regret my purchase.
