Review of 10L Everyday Sling Bag V2 Overall I am happy with my new bag. It is a replacement for a well used and well loved 10L everyday sling bag I've owned for 3 years+. I like the new zipper designs, the strap is an improvement over the previous version and the accessory straps that are detachable are a big improvement. While those things are welcome, I am not happy about losing features like the interior pockets in the front zippered compartment and the much smaller pockets in the lid of the big compartment. I use every inch of the bag and those smaller internal pockets held my spare batteries (color coded!) my battery charger, measuring tape and playing cards. The pockets in the front compartment held my wallet, business cards and keys, all separate and easy to grab without looking. Not sure why those pockets were kept out of the current version, and I would ask that they be added back in to the next iteration. AFA the internal pockets in the lid of the large compartment, I am baffled. The color coding was helpful in keeping track of used batteries and the smaller sized pockets even make battery stashing more of a challenge, let alone the fact that I've lost individual storage for items that I still like in my bag. Thanks for letting me vent. I hope you found my comments helpful. I send this in hopes of continuing your improvement of a wonderful product.

I live in Oregon, where it rains constantly. My old everyday bag was poorly water resistant, resulting in me needing to empty and dry it regularly. I purchased the sling so that I could have a waterproof bag, and so far it has worked great. The bag is waterproof. Thanks!

I absolutely love my everyday sling. With that said there is a couple reason I won't give it 5 stars. It needs better padding on the strap, maybe a wider strap. When you have it on all day on and have it packed full it really digs into shoulder. I wish there was some sort of way to easily attach the capture clip to strap and have it be aligned properly up and down. I would prefer to carry the camera on chest than at almost hip level with capture clip. I have bumped my camera into things carrying it externally at hip level with capture clip in the recommended clip location. And last thing I really want is a stabilizer strap. To many times I have bent over to pick something up and the bag slides around me and almost slams into the ground.

The bag works wonderfully to hold a few items and a camera. I bought the largest one, I think, and it can just about hold my DSLR and a lens, so my only criticism would really be that I wish the interior volume was a little bit bigger, especially at the bottom. Other than that: Great build quality, lots of handy pockets, and the possibility of attaching a jacket or tripod below using the hooks and straps included is defo a useful feature.

I purchased a 3L Everyday Sling as my day bag for a recent trip to Italy. I was looking for something compact, durable and camera-friendly. And the EDS delivered! I used this bag every single day for over two weeks, hauling it around cities and the countryside, from walks to biking to train rides. It was perfect for carrying the essentials, including a few camera batteries, a spare SD card, my wallet, a mask or two, a small journal, ear buds or AirPods, tickets, and even a stuffable jacket. I carried my Canon RP (with a 24-240 lens) on the outside with a Capture clip attached to one of the mounting points. This configuration was secure and easy to carry, but still let me get into the bag or grab my camera as needed. Being able to pull the zippers through the loop to reduce easy opening reduced my worries about pickpockets on the subway in Rome, and I never felt like my camera was at risk from theft or accident. I got caught in a thunderstorm and the bag stayed nice and dry on the inside. No significant dirt or wear, even after some intense biking in Tuscany. My only compliant is the positioning of the Capture clip on the attachment point. Depending on how you've set it up, you might find that it makes getting the zipper on the main pouch open all the way on the side the Capture is attached to. This was never a hug problem, just annoying once or twice. If you're looking for a small bag that can carry a decent amount of stuff, hold up to the elements, and haul you camera gear, the EDS is worth taking a look at.

Everyday sling 10l V2 is great quality bag for small ammount of gear or small few day trip. I am using with sony a6300 and few lenses. I like good build quality and nice look and engeneering. This small camera did not fit inside perfect, but I have managed it somehow. I like new zippers, they are for sure an improvement from v1 version. I dont like smaller loading entrance size. Also V2 is not versatile as V1 due to small not expandable front area. I dont like new strap system, it doesent feel secure to me and I will probabably lose them, but I will give it try. Overall is it a nice bag, different than a other one, must use it for a longer time to say a verdict. :)

Got both the 10L & 6L Models. On the 10L I am carrying for work a MackBook Pro M1 2020 (13.3"), and some extras used for the daily commute to office. Quite sturdy, and comfortable (usually walk to work 4km each way). Thumbs up!

Absolutely love this bag, though front compartment is a bit tight when it's full on the inside, and I wish there was a small slim pocket on the side against the body to slip things like passports or a phone into instead of the strap stowaway area. And a magnetic buckle for the strap would be nice. Maybe if they do a v3 of this product.

I bought the bag at the start of the year and loved how much space there was and the possibilities seemed great. I used it for the first time this weekend and it was great, except the durable fabric of the bag, when worn over my shoulder, started to wear through the side seam of my jeans! it's not made a hole yet but a bit unsure now of how to wear it. Everything else about the bag was great, just the material the bag is a bit rough against certain fabrics.

I got this bag to take with me on walks and school. It's great for making you keep your bag minimal. I was able to fit my small Sony a6300, batteries, battery chargers, my Windows Surface Go, and a charger. I only wish I could put a water bottle on the outside.

The 6L bag is a good fit for my needs. Just wish it had a pocket for water bottle.

I had the original bag for several years and loved it. After a recent upgrade, the new one seems great quality, has superiors hardware and really looks the part. The only thing that lets it down, is the lack of small pockets inside the front pocket. Not sure why this was missed out as was a great way to keep keys, wallet etc separate and stop rolling around. Shame.

It's very nice and durable. But as a photographer, I think it will be better if there is some place to place a tripod

Sling is awesome, we'll made, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Fitting a pro body with a lens attached wouldn't work comfortably, but without it attached would fit just fine. Would be perfect for standard DSLRs.

I bought this a month ago to use as an everyday carry with my camera (Fujifilm XT3 + Battery Grip + 16-55mm f2.8). The bag doesn't fit my camera when my battery pack is attached. It barely zips tight, and I'm of comfortable pulling it in and out. My other complaint is the back of the bag, the side that touches my body, doesn't have a zippered pocket. I wish there was a pocket there to put my wallet.

I bought the 3L bag to fit my Nikon Z6ii with Kit Lens. With the divider still installed, the camera assembled with lens hood back just barely fits (lens down) in this bag. I can fit a spare battery and a few other small items in the internal organizer pocket. However, I'm disappointed that my iPhone with case does not fit easily in the front pocket (even in the product video, she has to somewhat jerk the phone from the bag). A slightly longer zipper would be helpful. I would also like to see a second zipper pocket on the back side of this bag that could potentially fit a phone/ notepad/ keys/ etc. Overall this is a great quality bag. I think the 3L size is close to perfect but making the bag have a slightly outward angled top around the zipper would offer just enough room to make the camera body (with lens attached) fit better, and also allow for a longer front zipper so a phone with case will fit easily.

I love this bag but: 1. The small one is too small for a professional mirrorless with attached 24-70 zoom lens. You can make it fit but it is too tight and you can scratch your gear on the zippers every time you take out your camera or put it away in the bag. I ended up getting the medium one and while I do love it, it is actually a bit too big for my needs. It is bulkier than I wanted. 2. I do not like the fabric/coating. It is not smooth and can damage clothes (pilling on wool sweaters).

It seems like an iPad should be what the little back pocket is designed for and my iPad Air is a struggle to get in and out. Also, the front zipper is so tough to pull, and the little flap over it so intrusive that I end up never using it. Aside from that it's beautifully made, great materials, wish it fit a water bottle somehow. Good airline carry on bag.

I got this as a replacement for a Sling V1 which I'd basically used into the ground. It's such a usable item; for travel, for daily commutes, for class, for work. And let's not forget for outdoors photography which it was designed for! The soft pockets in the lid hold those smaller items; earphones, cables, memory cards. The front pocket holds my Kindle, my travel docs, and when expanded it holds so much more! The main body, with the Velcro dividers which can also split the height into two (doubling up the versatility) can be configured to about anything; camera lenses, bodies, filters, food, drink, books, whatever. And the expansion straps are a godsend! Want to carry that extra layer without an extra bag? Strap 'em on! And that's not even start on the versatility of the strap; the expansion, the one handed release, the ability to wear it as a bum bag (fanny pack), the simplicity which it spins round to the front, and opens the right way!! Are there any downsides, you ask? Well, sadly, yes. I find it a stretch to keep a MacBook Air in the rear pocket despite it being advertised as able to. It fits, but it feels like the zip struggles to move comfortably when it's in. And that's it. My only grumble. Other than that I can't fault it. Such a great, versatile, handy, piece of luggage. It has 'Everyday' in the title and it gets used exactly that. Every single day.

A It's a great bag with a lot of nice features. However I wish the strap was thicker (similar to the slide strap) in order to attach the capture clip to it.On that subject, when you attach the capture clip to the designated spot on the bag, it makes the bag waaay off balance and pulls the camera to the lowest point which makes it impossible to reach. Overall it's a pretty good bag but I'd move the designated spot for the capture clip to some place more logical.

I carry a Everyday Sling(6L) with a PENTAX KP + DA 18-135mm and GR-II. It's just the right size. The strap that holds the tripod in place is surprisingly bulky, so I have trouble figuring out where to put it in the bag. It would be nice to have some kind of pocket to store the end of the shoulder strap.

Bought this bag about a month ago (10L) and have used it almost every day. Love the bag but there are a few things I dislike. Likes: Great organization capability. Holds quite a lot for my daily carry without being too bulky. Like the external connection straps and the comfort of the carry strap. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold/grab, plus doubles as a perfect strap to hold it in place on the collapsible handles of roller suitcases. Dislikes: The quick-adjuster mechanism doesn't lock properly so the strap just gradually gets longer as you wear it. The laptop/tablet sleeve is tucked deep underneath the overhanging edge of the primary compartment (photo). The positioning this deep makes it quite annoying and difficult to take a laptop or tablet out of the sleeve when the main compartment is full because you need empty space to tip the laptop forward so you can pull it out, meaning I often have to empty some items out of the main compartment first (see second picture with water bottle in the way). I want to emphasize that my tablet and laptop are NOT too big for this bag. It is advertised as accommodating a 13 inch laptop and my laptop is only 12 inches and the tablet is smaller, so it is not a size issue. Wishes: I wish the laptop/tablet sleeve was a separate zippered compartment on the backside of the bag. That would make this bag perfect, in my opinion.

Since it became smaller than a previous model, a camera cannot be stored. I will purchase 6L.

I have used this for a year and it is good. I had the 10L sling and it fit most essentials in it. I could fit a 11" surface go in it so I could carry it in for class too. I like the adjustable strip so I can switch to run and gun mode very quickly. But non retangular size mean also you can't fit a lot when you really have to. If this bag has some kind of flexible feature to expand could be really good.
