This backpack rounded out my travel kit in the best way. Holds a lot and it's comfortable to wear. My favorite thing is how there were different access points to my gear. When traveling in remote areas of India, including the Himalaya by trains, planes and automobiles, that was the best feature. This bag was clearly designed for travelers!

I received my 45L travel bag a couple weeks ago. I used it to pick up some dry cleaning. It was a lot of dry cleaning, but I got it all I to the bag. I haven't travelled with it yet, but I watched the informative, and sometimes humorous, video about it many features carefully before making my purchase. I have not seen any manufacturing problems. It is a handsome, versatile bag. If I have any issues when travelling with it, I will post another review.

I bought this backpack for a trip to Italy and I love the blend of space and safety features. Fortunately I watched the video where they go over all the little extras that are included that you might not notice at first glance. I am very impressed with the thought and design that went into this product. The backpack is easy to carry, I loved having my hands free as we negotiated train stations and multiples sets of stairs. Great stuff!

We watched the informative and humorous video online and decided to purchase two of these backpacks. We were quite pleased with the quality and functionality of them. Looking forward to our trip to Europe in a few weeks!

I researched all over the internet for a practical, good quality and comfortable bag for travelling. I decided to go with Peak design 45L travel backpack and what a solid bag! I love the design and construction of this bag and how much it can hold for trips. What also gives me peace of mind is its lifetime warranty knowing that if anything goes wrong, you are covered. It is a heavier bag but what do you expect when looking for a durable, solid construction that can withstand the rigors of travel. I am looking forward to it's many uses for many years to come.

Bought this bag recently along with some packing cubes and it has already changed the game for my short weekend travel. There are features everywhere and it helps me stay organized and compact. Before I'd be taking a carry on, a backpack, and sometimes tote bags as well whereas now it's just this bag. I don't find it too big for a daily if needed. Planning to take it to Portugal in a few months and see how it goes with this as my carry on. Great design!

I purchased this bag for myself to take on our trip to Japan. I don't know how I used my previous bag for so long. This bag combined with the tech pouch, wash pouch, and the 3l sling fit perfectly with room for my over headphones and a 16inch Macbook pro. All the organization and quick access made travel better than I have ever experienced. With the expansion capabilities, I was able to expand it enough to fit additional purchases made on the trip but still have easy access to my belongings. A larger bag but still got it to fit underneath all of our airplane seats. Once we got back my wife purchased the bag as well cause she saw how nice it was. The build is great, I got black and love how sleek it is. A phenomenal travel companion

I researched travel backpacks and arrived at this one. I purchased on for an upcoming trip to the UK which will be carry on and public transportation only for 6 weeks. I liked it so much that my wife also purchased one. A little pricey, but so far it seems worth it.

This bag has traveled with me for the past 5 years. Whether a simple photo shoot, a weekend getaway, or a multi-week international trip, the Travel Backpack is always part of my kit. The thoughtful design elements such as the luggage pass-through, hide away backpack straps, expandable capacity, functional pocket layout, and high quality materials really set this one apart from all the other bags I have tried. You really hit the nail on the head for me with this design, thank you!

I bought this for my husbands birthday, along with two packing cubes. I was a bit reluctant due to the price point, but when the items arrived and I saw the features and quality of the pack and cubes I was very happy.

Definitely the most innovative strap system I've ever seen. I love the way they hide away while always being available for use, especially the waist straps. Overall, the bag seems to be made high quality.

I finally splurged and upgraded my camera bag. I am SO glad that I did! This bag not only fits my camera, lenses and tripod but also my laptop, wash pouch, and a small packing cube! It's easy to carry with the waist belt and adjustable straps. The handles on all sides really makes traveling easy. Having access to the inner pockets from both inner and outer zippers makes getting to things quick on the go.

I bought this pack as a replacement for my well used Lowepro camera back pack. It was "broken in" a trip to SE Asia involving 9 flights and endless vehicle trips. I was totally blown away by the utility and performance of the backpack and I would have written this review without out the incentive to win something extra. Overall it's less conventional and a bit different to pack but after watching the Peak video on the product it didn't take me long to make a paradigm shift as to how a backpack should function and how it should/ could be used. The pack is neat and easy to travel with even totally loaded/stuffed, it fit the dreaded airline overhead bin sizing jig. Moreover the magnetic arrests on the shoulder strap ended the problem of the straps dragging on airport floors or, even worse, getting unknowingly caught on the arms of airplane seats while making my way down the endless economy aisles on a plane thereby causing me suddenly to jerk and contort. Carrying it was a joy because of the three nice handles which allowed travel options vs on shoulder - they are placed so the pack is nicely balanced. I also liked that a couple of tech pouches fit snugly in the bag - one for filters and camera stuff, one for electronics, batteries, etc. The side pouches were great for my rain jacket and an extra socks, etc. I used the back pocket to hold travel docs and my iPad. I have not one regret in buying this. Not cheap but using it proves it is great value and a joy to own. The only unfortunate issue is that some good hearted bellboy or carrier luggage handler managed to separate the chest strap, which has gone AWOL.

cannot express the level of obsession for this backpack, I tell everyone to get this I can put so much stuff in here and there is always room for more. and yet, it never looks to big or heavy. and it's heavy. I fly with this a lot and no one has ever asked my to weigh it. I take about 35 kg worth of gear on board. several laptops and iPads and V-Mount batteries and what not. dont get behind me in Security at the airport, I need about 10 trays the quality of this backpack is superb, and exceeds every expectation and wish. 10+++ recommendation. dont think about it, just get it. if you are not sure what you need it for, dont worry, you'll figure it out once you one this

I bought this bag to use as a carry-on for a three week multi-climate trip. It's everything I've been looking for! It was easily able to fit all my stuff, with plenty of pockets for organizing different items. It feels very high quality, and I was never worried about anything tearing or breaking despite packing the bag very full. It fit in the overhead bin on planes and trains, and was allowed as a carry-on for a notoriously restrictive budget airline. As an average height woman, I was worried that it might look huge and be uncomfortable, but it looks great and was very easy to carry around. If you're a traveler who doesn't want to check a bag, but still needs to pack a lot of stuff for long trips - this is your bag!

I bought it a month ago but have been waiting for this, for years! I watched all the videos to look for the perfect travel backpack, and this one is outstanding! You have plenty of space for everything to keep it handy and organized, plus is so comfortable and the quality is great.

I bought this bag back in 2019, so I've had it for more than 4 years now. Originally I used it for just a way to carry my camera and lenses while I was traveling but started using it as my main 72 hour bag for my deployments. It was able to fit everything I needed to live off of for up to week. And 4 deployments later through the Middle East and Africa, it's held up without a wince. It's been dropped, thrown, and dragged around in the worst of conditions I've ever seen around the world been through countless of airports and is still going strong. It's carried and protected not just my personal belongings but military mission equipment as well. No rips, no tears, holes or broken zippers. The best $300 I ever spent and it will be for as long as I have this bag. It's a backpack that'll probably out live you.

I've recently purchased this bag and it has everything one could want. Light, spacious, lots of pockets, intelligent design. Wish the back straps were 15% more padded, but can't have it all

One issue with having photography as a habit is I NEED more and more accessories to not only make me a better photographer, but to make me a better person. Although I really liked my previous bag, it was too small for all of my gear. Peak Design's Travel Backpack is beautiful, has a quality feel, and extremely flexible. I really appreciate the cube system, it makes packing my bag easy and efficient. I appreciate that it can be compressed or expanded. I like the attention to all of the details, like the ability to fold away the shoulder straps, hidden pockets, linking and hiding zipper pulls. I appreciate that now when I do my short weekend trips one bag will carry all of my gear, tech and clothes.

Purchased to upgrade my Solgaard Lifepack that I love, but needed the additional space the 45L excels at. The expandibility comes in handy and sooo many pockets/compartments for everything and then some. Purchased several packing cubes and the rain fly, so I'm ready for any trip/weather. Enjoy how the shoulder straps stay hidden, but are easily accessible on the fly when my hands are full...used them today when returning home from a Xmas trip.
