The Travel Backback was my first Peak Design product I funded on kickstarter. Since then it has been my travel & everyday companion. Super happy with everything it provides. I even got a replacement when my first backpack had a zipper malfunction.

Got this bag for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised that both my big canon lenses and two camera bodies fit inside it! Canon 800mm and Canon 200 to 400 with 1x4 built in lenses are big and heavy!

I bought this travel backpack a month or I had it overseas and it was perfect on both the airplane and at my destination. There are multiple storage compartments and so many access panels allowing access from different directions. You never need to dig through your items to get to the item you're looking for. It was amazing how much I could fit in here and still get the backpack under the seat in front of me during takeoff and landing.

Ordered it during Thanks Giving. Today first time used it for my trip back to home town. Can hold all my belongings for my 21 days hotel quarantine with 2 laptops as well.
The only down side is the strips may not too easy to hide when the backpack is fully loaded.

I took this on my first long duration trip. It's super sturdy and comfortable to wear. The carefully designed compartments have easy access. The cost may seem high but considering this will be my backpack forever, it's very reasonable.

Great backpack - with plenty of room for a weekend trip or for an addition to a rolling suitcase - and lots of nifty pockets for things like laptops, electronics, passport/documents, etc. Only downside so far, is it's a little heavy and can be a little large for an overhead compartment at times - but not a huge issue. I personally wouldn't use this as my only bag but that was never my intention

I got this off their Kickstarter project and I'm so glad I did. There are so many great features that I find useful that I won't go into them here (plenty of YouTubers will show you).
I've used this on numerous trips for one-bag travel and this does the job very well. It has plenty of pockets for all your needs and then some. The fact that it can be reduced (slightly) in volume AND expanded is a great little feature for when you've arrived at the hotel, taken everything out, and then can use it as a day bag.
The only knock against it is that it can get a bit heavy if I'm out for 10-12 hour days (I realize it's because it's so well-made, so you can't really have something built this solidly and be super lightweight; I get that). The shoulder straps are probably made thin so that it can slide into the back panel to be hidden away, which is a super cool feature...but I do wish they were more thickly padded because by the end of the day out in the city, the shoulders start to get sore. I think if I were given the choice between more comfortable, more padded straps or the hideaway feature, I'd choose the former. But this is my only gripe in an otherwise very well-thought out bag full of really cool features.
I love it and have recommended it to friends. It's not cheap...but you get what you pay for AND the lifetime warranty makes it a little easier to part with the cash because I know I'll be able to use this for a very long time...so it's sort of an investment in a way because you're paying more for quality and longevity.

Purchased this for one bag travel. Just finished 5 day trip and it held a week of winter's clothes. Organization seems good. Quality seems good so far.

Great bag, full of features that I are very useful. The laptop sleeve and quick access zips are great. Also, the ability to change sizes makes the bag useful for any length of trip. Love how the bag keeps it's shape as well.

After looking around for a backpack I could use in my everyday as well as on my weekly travels this bag was the one. The quality is something I haven't seen in any other backpack, there are so many smart little features that make using the backpack easy!

I have the travel bag for a month now. It's perfect for 3 days and up to a month of travel. I personally use it as a edc all due it's a bit big for that, but I like it.

I've switched out from my previous bag and this has been a very good experience! Everything on this bag has been thoughtfully done. My previous bag was 15L bigger but this bag does everything it did plus more and at a lighter weight. I'm very happy that I purchased this bag and it should last for years to come.

Had an Everyday Backpack for 5 years, but I needed more space so I upgraded to the travel backpack. No regrets! The everyday was much more camera focused which was fine but every time I needed to stuff a jacket in it, it felt too bulky. The travel backpack is incredible for throwing in the bigger items I need like an extra laptop or a jacket.

I purchased this backpack to replace a North Face "Overhaul 40" pack. Just returned from a 6 day trip where I only carried my Peak Designs Travel Pack. Wow! I was very impressed with how this pack was able to accommodate everything I needed for a six day trip. The outer slip pockets on each side of the pack were great for holding an umbrella and large water bottle. I found the layout of the pockets and compartments to be well organized. I also purchased a couple of Peak Design packing cubes for use with this pack. I was surprised how well designed the cubes were. The compression feature allowed me to pack the cube full and then zip it down for a more compact fit. The cubes let you pack a lot of clothes into this pack. I purchased a small rubber net online that easily secures to the tie down loops on the outside of the pack. This makes for a quick way to carry a light jacket or items you want to have rapid access to. Another thing I like about this pack is the quality. It is very well made and will likely survive years of travel. BTW... On my last trip the pack easily fit under the airline seat.

The bag is well designed and has tons of hidden features. I just recently took it out on an airplane business trip and it worked out well, but I would have probably packed it a little lighter as it can get heavy with a full load of clothes and gear. The only thing to be aware is that using the small camera cube for side access, you have to mount it sideways which then only leaves room for using 2x small packing cubes and cannot use a medium packing cube in that position. I like the way the bag opens for access from either side and the organization pockets on the front and ability to expand. I had no problem fitting it in the overhead bins but I'm not sure if it would fit under the seat in front of me.

I waited a long time before purchasing the travel backpack, needless to say I should have purchased it earlier! I have owned the tech pouch and wash pouch for a couple years now. Those pieces integrate so well with this bag! The backpack overall is incredible and my favorite feature is all the quick close magnet connections! The other feature that really stands out for me is the expandable side compartments, they hold a 40oz. water bottle which is awesome! The only down side I have found with this bag is there are no load straps on the shoulder straps but the waist belt does help to off set the weight a good bit. Highly recommend this bag for anyone considering it. Take it from me don't wait, it is worth it!

It took me a long time to decide to pull the trigger on this purchase, but I'm glad I finally did! This backpack is incredibly sturdy, and all the zippers are smooth. It has pocket where I need pockets, and access where I need access! Looking forward to travelling so I can us it again!

I don't typically write reviews but after years of travel and searching for my perfect "one bag" travel bags I finally found if in the Peak Design 45L Travel Backpack. Six month and approximately 13 trips ranging from cold to warm weather, business, and adventure trips this bag literally carries it all. This bag is durable, looks amazing, and has just the right amount of capacity and organization to accommodate all kinds of users. I enjoyed this bag so much I purchased the entire travel line and now understand why people rave about Peak Design products so much. Looking forward to many more adventures with this bag.
