I'm a full-time real estate photographer and videographer. In the bag I keep 2 bodies, 3 lenses, my drone with 4 batteries, external microphone, filters, my laptop, charge cables and a bunch of accessories. The bag is built like a tank and I haven't seen any other bag that compares. 4 years in and I still love it.

It's the bag I wished every other backpack I ever owned had been. First tour I brought it on my bandmate bought themself one the next day, and we gushed our love for it daily.

it's very well made, so far I traveled with this bag over Spain,Egypt,France,England,Italy. No problem at all. The only weakness is maybe the weight, if it was slightly ligher, was perfect!

We got this travel backpack for my son who was traveling to Europe for a month and a half. This backpack fit all the clothes he needed and was very easy to pack using packing cubes. It's very roomy and allowed him to take his laptop as well. The magnetic system to "hide" the straps is amazing. While we liked the black one more than the sage, the sage is easier to spot aos y other backpacks. It's a bit on the heavy side but it would be very hard to pack for close to 2 months without some weight.

We have been traveling Europe for a few months. I had been using traditional, rolling luggage, but I recently changed to the Travel Backpack. I was worried that I would not be able to fit all of my belongings into the pack, but with the use of the packing cubes (and a more minimalist approach), I was able to get everything I needed into the pack. Everything seems to be well made and I am looking forward to using it for years to come.

When I received my backpack I was immediately impressed with how well it is made. the material and zips are very sturdy. Lots of compartments give lots of possibilities for packing and accessing your content. Love the look of this backpack. Also like the way you can make it a 35l backpack or extend it to a 45l backpack.Overall it is really well thought through. Thinking of every aspect of traveling. All the accessories that can be added to this are a great feature as well. Making travelling even easier.

The SO and I took ours on their maiden voyage to Peru for a 5-day hike to Machu Picchu. These were our carry-on luggage, we didn't check any bags, so naturally they were 100% full. I have to say I was impressed when I received the backpack, but even more-so after putting it in action. The pack holds an astonishing amount of luggage/gear while still fitting comfortably in a 737's overhead compartment. Super-easy to remove laptops/tablets for airport security, and the side access openings are really handy. Even when we came back with souvenirs, we just pulled out the straps and tied extra gear to the outside. Wearing it is comfortable enough, not as good as a proper hiking/outdoor backpack but it gets the job done, and the ability to tuck the shoulder and waist straps in make stowing it in a plane or train that much easier. Can't wait to take these on more adventures in the future!

I bought this backpack for my trip to Italy this summer and I was very pleased with its quality, ease to travel with, and versatility. It is a perfect carry-on size bag for most airlines and it is also very easy to travel with especially when getting on and off of busy trains or subways in Europe. Along with the packing cubes and shoe cubes it was very easy to pack a weeks worth of clothes and toiletries. There is also a dedicated laptop compartment which makes it easy to take out when passing through airport security. I think my favorite feature was being able to stow away the hip straps or back straps with the innovative magnetic stow away system. Another great feature is how you can collapse the bag to make it a smaller 35 L backpack and use it as a day bag around the city. There are also plenty of pockets that allow you to organize smaller items like sunglasses, chargers, battery packs, and cables. The only issue I had was how easy it was to lose the straps especially the chest straps. I lost my chest strap on the second day of travel. Make sure to put away any straps you aren't using or you'll probably lose them. Overall this backpack is a great travel backpack, you can feel the quality of the materials used and you know it will last you a long time. I definitely continue to use this travel backpack for my future trips!

This bag is just amazing, first of all I do not do photography so I locked up the side panel coppers and it's like they aren't there. The main pocket is huge, the expansion zippers are super useful and the divider between pockets is amazing if need or hidden if I don't. Even though this is a big main compartment style bag it still has tons of places to put smaller items inside zipper pockets which are my favorite! The straps are very comfortable although sometimes the stiffness of them hurts my collarbone depending on how I have the chest strap tightened.
Now for a couple of places for improvement: the sternum strap looks cool but it's a terrible design for quickly disconnecting and dropping the bag then putting it back on to continue walking. It's annoying to leave it hanging and swinging when it isn't in use and hooking it in the same shoulder strap is annoying every time. The hook system is just not the right choice. Also it is easy to attach the sternum strap to the wrong slot making it uneven across my chest. I need an aftermarket replacement for this thing, it's no good.
The buttons that expand the bag from 30 to 35 liters are cool but they are not that practical to use. Would be better if they were more secure when fastened.
The waist straight is not and simple but I wish it was removable. So far I have not needed it much and it's just extra weight. Not a big deal though as it's pretty lite.
Wouldn't mind this bag having load lifters.
Overall I researched really hard for bags and found that this one was just too perfect for my needs and I was right! I only wish the 30 liter version was slightly shorter so I could use it as a personal item when I check luggage!

I've always used a back pack to travel and recently decided to travel overseas with carryon luggage only. This back pack is fantastic. Robust, well designed. Can't fault.

Truly an awesome bit of kit. I've had mine 3 years now and it's showing no signs of wear. I use it for any trips sub 5 days- anything from city breaks to more adventurous travel/ hikes. Comfortably fits big shoes in too- something other backpacks have fallen short on before.

I bought this to do my big summer trip coming up. I haven't used it yet, but the size feels great, and with their packing cubes, I think it'll be exactly what I need.

Have been using this bag for a couple years now. A go to for my photography day trips. Holds my gopros, RED batteries, 100-400 lens, extenders, a camera body and accessories. Great size and comfortable on the back. Highly recommend.

I just took this bag on a 5 day holiday and it was perfect. For the first time my stuff was well organised. The side pocket under the bottle holder pouch was perfect for quick easy access to my passport at the airport. Bag fit easily in the over-head compartment on the plane. Once I was at the hotel it was nice to be able to tidy the straps away for tidy access to the main body of the bag. Love it, I'm now converted to one bag travelling and can't wait to take it on another trip soon.

I originally bought this backpack to travel around overseas with. Unfortunately I haven't gotten that far just yet, however using only the medium camera cube in this pack I happily managed to pack in my sleeping bag, food for two days and additional equipment like a PLB in for my overnight hike. It's exceeded my expectations with durability and I love the modularity of cube that you buy along with this. Highly recommend for anyone after a camera backpack for travelling or even overnight hikes!

I'm petite and I was looking for a bag for 3-5 day trips. After trying several bags, I found the 30L travel backpack was perfect for me. It's very roomy - large enough for several changes of clothes, extra shoes, books, toiletries etc. it's got great internal organization. And it doesn't make me feel like I'm going to tip over. Plus, it's good looking. Excited to travel with this bag!

I bought this backpack prior to a domestic trip for 5 days. It held all the clothes and items I wanted for the trip. All of the external straps stow in the bag; which makes it fit in the overhead compartments of domestic flights really well. Multiple carry straps so you can literally grab the bag from anywhere on it and carry it. It distributes weight well. The backpack is comfortable to carry even when fully loaded. There are too many little features to name, but there is a lot of organization in this bag. Great product. Would work for international travel and as a gear bag as well. Wonderful and responsive customer service.

First, customer service has been great! The first bag I received was sliced in transit but the PD team walked me through the warranty process and I was able to get a replacement quickly and painlessly. I was able to get very speedy responses from the text services.
I just returned from a week in Belize with the bag. I'm 5'4" with a petite frame and easily carried it on the plane in the 35L set up (~30lbs). One word of warningthe snaps to convert from 40L to 35L are very hard for me to snap. It fit easily in the overhead storage. Once we arrived, it was great to be wheels-free on all of the dirt roads. I was able to stay fairly organized in the bag throughout the week thanks to all of the pockets. On the way home I checked the bagit held up to the airline abuse well but (to no surprise) came back a little dirty. I was able to wipe it clean a little but would recommend the black bag if you wanted to avoid that. Otherwise, the sage green is a beautiful gender neutral color and the fabric and zippers feel nice and sturdy.
