I've been using this for about 6 months as a travel bag and it's a well thought out beast. The adjustment for the shelves is great for organizing. Top flap is for easy access items and side zips let you get to lower shelves. The straps are comfortable and highly adjustable the swivel on the top is great for access while still in your shoulder. All the secret pockets and adjustments make it a very flexible everyday bag.

I purchased the 30L as a PD certified open box, and have used it for the last year and a half. I LOVE THIS BAG. It has done everything I wanted it to do. The only thing that would make these better is if they had mirror-less camera sized camera cubes for them, so that I could have the same modular function as their larger bags.

I've been using this bag as both an everyday carry and a camera bag. The bag physically transforms internally (thanks to the included dividers) to provide me with ultimate flexibility. I love that the bag can be accessed from both sides as well as from the top depending on how I've set up the internal compartment.

I bought the 30L Everyday Backpack from Peak Design. I had the first V1 20L but over time this was not the perfect fit for me I always ran out of room. Now I have the new V2 and bigger size it fits perfectly for all things I am carrying. I am super happy with the product and it has lifetime warranty!

I bought this a month ago and have been using it for both school and work since then and it has been the best backpack I've used. The compartments are super useful and I love how I can mold the interior to fit my gear. Would highly recommend!!!!! If you're thinking about buying, just do it! So worth it.

20 inch is perfect for daily commute to work. I do wish it includes a sizeable velcro pouch inside the backpack. Hightly recommended!

I received this backpack about a month ago and love it more than I thought I would! I primarily use it as an everyday bag and sometimes a camera bag. I love the preconfigured "shelves" in the bag. I thought I'd rearrange them but actually love the different levels and the ability to customize them if needed. Also, the bag looks outstanding and professional. I attended a conference recently and got asked multiple times about the bag and its features. Just got back from Spring Break and the bag also served as an excellent day bag for beach trips and cycling riding around the area. If you're looking for a versatile bag that will stand the test of time, this is it!

After careful research, I purchased an Everyday Backpack in 2018. Most expensive backpack I ever bought. I was frustrated by all previous ones in many respects: not waterproof, hard to access areas, either insufficient protection for laptop or unusable to do groceries, and so on.
The Everyday Backpack was my trusty backpack for ~4 years, *every day*. Countless grocery store hauls. Travel to conferences for work. Personal travel. Beloved.
Hence I also got my partner one.
Then the top zipper gave up.
Peak Design sent me a whole new (v2!) backpack!
They made true on their incredible customer service. I am now a loyal customer, because they do actually keep their promises!

Love this bag! I have friends and family who have this bag and every time I saw someone with it I got jealous. I love the dual side entry - I must admit it takes some getting used to, now I have a system. It carries weight really well, packs plenty of gear and is super durable!

I bought this bag (30L) to carry a camera body and six lenses along with lots of small accessories. First trip thoughts: The bag is beautiful and since it doesn't look like a camera bag, feels more secure. I like the zipper locks. Lots of interior pockets and adjustable laptop compartment makes it easy to access. All the zippers function flawlessly. Shoulder straps are magnetized to collapse and store against the body. I had to remember to pull them away from the body to get it on or else it was hard to "find" the second strap. All the hardware functions just as I want it to. Lens access was easy, but I had to remember which side which lens was on. I put an extra piece of foam on the inside bottom of the bag to protect my Canon R5 with the 100-500mm lens attached. Yes, it fits! The top compartment held lunch and a jacket. All-in-all, this is a carefully designed and well-made backpack!

This bag is seriously the greatest bag I have owned. It can be used for anything. The dividers work great for camera gear or packing for a trip. The zippers allow access from many points and it's easy to carry.

Perfect in every way. I like it so much, I'm going to buy one for my work laptop.
Everything is just so well thought out, it's a pleasure to use. Plus it's very stylish too. Very useful and surprisingly feature rich for a "minimalist" design.

I bought the 30L version of this backpack solely for the purpose of storing technology and lugging around my school items. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was able to cope with carrying my laptop, iPad, full sized notebook, water bottle, and still have space for my bike lock. However, upon opening up the bag I had a ripped divider, Peak Design was very swift in responding and sending me a replacement. I am very happy with both the product (in the rain while I bike back from campus) to the customer support.

I honestly didn't think bag was worth the price, but honestly I'm upset I didn't buy it earlier. Honestly the best piece of luggage I've ever bought. Streamlined my camera gear in such away that I'm always prepared for every situation.

First real work out with the 30l bag. Travel tripod, oly EM1, 7-14 lens, 40-150, batteries, etc. 90% perfect. Only thing I need is the hip belt and a better back!

I bought the 30L version of the bag and my everyday carry consists of a sony a1, 70-200mm f2.8, 35mm f1.4, 85mm 1.4, Macbook pro 16" and exta cables, batteries and othe miscellaneous things. With all that in the bag i still have a decent space on the top shelf of the bag for anything else I wish to carry !
Really comfortable to carry even with it being fully loaded.

Seriously, I can't believe that I own this backpack for maybe a year now and I love and enjoy it everyday. It's packed with amazing features - none of them is pointless or not thoughtful. The only thing I would improve is the access to the zipper on top - it can be a little tight when accessing the small pockets, esp. when the backpacks fully loaded. Other than that (which is rather a tiny flaw) to me it's the perfect backpack.

Like many other reviewers, I have tried common takes on the traditional camera backpack. Like many others, I was left unsatisfied and with a wishlist of changes I'd like to make to create the perfect bag. Peak Design took that wishlist and made it a checklist.
The Everyday Backpack V2 is everything the photographer needs in a bag. Ethical, functional, aesthetic, meticulous attention to detail. It's a bag that you can feel good about buying. Not only does a portion of your money go to making the world a better place to live in, the construction is recycled plastic, furthering the environmental focus even more. This makes the bag last longer, which creates less waste. It's just win-win-win-win.
The attention to detail is no surprise coming from the people who brought you Capture, a unique and revolutionary way to carry a camera outside your bag. Each and every component of the Everyday Bag V2 is carefully thought through, making it as easy to use and functional as possible. From the magnetic closures, to the origami-folding organization system, the only limit to the functionality of this bag is the user's imagination.
Lastly and certainly not least, the cherry on top, the icing on the cake, the final flourish, the essential enhancement, the.. you get the point. Aesthetics. The Everyday Backpack V2 would already be a revolution with all the aforementioned details, but that wasn't enough for Peak Design. They had to make it beautiful. The definition of form following function. Every line, seam, and accent unites in performing a visual symphony of design that belongs on a catwalk, yet works in the dirt. I enjoy looking at the bag as much as I enjoy using it.
The Peak Design Everyday Backpack V2 is all things to all men (and women, and everyone else). It's a bag you can be proud to own, an old friend, a confidant, a..
