I ended up buying this is both 20L and 30L because I couldn't decide which would work best for me. I love them both! The 20L is perfect for local shoots, I can easily fit two bodies and two lenses inside, plus a notebook, extra batteries, memory cards, and plenty of extras. The chest strap and easily adjustable shoulder straps make it comfortable and maneuverable for a snowboard shoot, and the side access zippers made it simple to pull gear out to use even in the cold and snow. The 30L will be perfect for traveling with a laptop too! Can't wait to try out the capture clip for summer Equestrian shoots!
I will say it does take some time to set up for your gear, at first it felt like gear was rattling around inside but with some rearranging of the inner dividers I now have it snug.

I bought this backpack as a splurge, and I have to say it's my favorite backpack ever. It's much easier to get at all the stuff I carry around (I'm a software engineer).

I've been using my Everyday Backpack V2 for almost 2 years and its storage organization continues to amaze me. I've taken it to multiple countries; it's a bit heavy for traveling, but it fits everywhere and I have access to every single thing that's in it.

I bought this for an upcoming trip and to replace my work backpack. It's super functional and well thought out with great options for storage and versatility. My only suggestion to the peeps at PD would be just a touch more space in the laptop sleeve area. For my work I use both a laptop and a tablet (which both fit tightly) but the 2 together in the pack leave very little to no room for a couple of files or a notebook. Not a complaint, but a wish

I've had a great experience with my Peak Design Travel Backpack and Travel Dufflepack and was able to convince my wife into buying yet another Peak Design product. Our diaper bag had basically disintegrated on our last trip. To be fair it was always stuffed full but material was low quality. I talked my wife into purchasing the 30L Everyday Backpack to use as a diaper bag for now and once our last kid is out of diapers we'd have a great bag for everyday use. The large pockets on the outside with straps allow us to secure water bottles on the outside without concern of them falling out or taking up space in the main compartment. The side access panels and dividers are great because we were always rummaging through the bag to find things at the bottom. Now we keep an extra change of clothes for the kids in a small packing cube on the bottom and can use the other slots for snack containers and toys that can be easily accessed. Best of all we converted the laptop/ tablet storage into our diaper, changing mat, and wipes compartment. The magnetic and zip pockets inside the side panels are great storage for wallets, phones, keys and hand sanitizing wipes. The backpack provides so much more space but is a comfortable carry. Can't wait until the kids no longer need a diaper bag so I can claim the bag for myself! Or I might just have to get another one for work in the meantime....

I originally had the v1 and loved it. Got the V2 recently and it's even better. It's slightly shorter compared to v1 with the same volume. The zipper was more fluid and they redisigned the side pockets. I use this bag exclusively for my camera gear. i can usually carry my dslr and my tripod with a few other gadgets pretty easily.

Amazing for photography!! Easy to access lenses, camera bodies, and other accessories. So impressed. Very light and designed by people who know the industry. They thought of everything. Literally look no where else. This is the bag for you.

I've tried many different backpacks, this one is the best fit for my needs. The build quality is outstanding (as is the warranty). Lightweight, rugged, with lots of options. There are a few things that I might like to see changed, but that is mainly because I'm using this for a different purpose than what it was designed for. I use it as a day pack for hiking to photograph wildflowers, rather than as an all around "everyday" kind of backpack. But it is better than any hiking/photography backpack that I've tried! Very comfortable, easy to access my equipment.

I got a new camera (Nikon z9) and wanted to be able to travel with it and my lenses. I bought the gen 2 version of this pack after reading many reviews. It is awesome! I was able to fit my camera, three lenses, laptop, iPad, charging cables, Bose over ear headphones, a book, sunglasses and other small travel items. If fit under the seat in front of me on the plane. So impressed with the organization and the durability!

I recently decided to get the everyday 20L as I like to travel around with a lot of tech daily to work. I work in a corporate office and this thing looks great, can carry my laptop, ipad, steam deck for the train rides and still have enough space to carry paperwork and drinks to keep me going during the day. I can honestly say it was worth every penny!

One of the best backpacks I have had. I bought the first everyday Backpack 4 Years ago.
Then I upgraded to the V2. I have also the Sling 6L,tech pouch and many other accessories. One of the best ever. I travelled the world with it,suggested this to coworkers and friends which they bought the same aswell. It's like an ecosystem that integrates into your everyday life. Peak Design is TOP

I bought this backpack because I typically have to travel with two laptops - one for work, and my own personal. Even though this wasn't how the laptop sleeve was designed, I'm actually able to fit two 15" macbook pros and still zip the top pocket with no issues. I also love the modular nature of all the adjustable interior panels. Each trip I'm almost always carrying my laptops and my Sony A73 + extra lens, and I'll also have my noise cancelling headphones with a few items that vary trip by trip. But I've always been able to adjust the compartments to fit what I needed which Peak Design made super easy with how the top flap can adjust to fit more or less depending on the load. Its also been super ergnomic to carry even when I'm fully loaded - the straps are really comfortable, with the chest strap adding extra security for the time's i've had to sprint through an airport to make a tight layover. I almost always take advantage of the back slot that you can slide over a rolling suit case handle and the magnetic straps to just set the bag on top my luggage. This is super helpful saving my back when I've got the bag fully loaded and am on a long trip. I also love how unbranded the bag is, which makes it feel like less of a target for theft. Other stand out features are the magnetic flap closure, the internal pockets to store various components for my camera or laptop, and the waterproof exterior. This backpack is a swiss army knife built with so much thought and detail. Highly recommend for anyone on the go who carries a bunch of gear with them and want something durable and versatile.

The 30L backpack is perfect for traveling, big enough to fit a large laptop + tablet (recently traveled with 2 laptops + an ipad pro with no trouble) with plenty of space inside for a tech pouch, big noise canceling headphones, snacks, and room to spare.

I researched camera bags in depth. I wasn't sure it would be worth the price but I have now used the bags for 3 trips and I have to say it is absolutely incredible. All the features are so well designed and I love being able to grab the bag from any orientation and open it in any direction as well. It's so durable and rugged, it looks great and is extremely functional- better than any camera bag I've ever used. It's a great carry-on and fits easily under airline seats. I also like the philosophy of PD as a whole compared to other brands.

This bag is fantastic, I bring it everywhere with me. It's really the perfect backpack for every day, to put my tech, my meals, my books.
It is practical, it is just a shame that the side pockets are not full.
