My feet felt instantly better. I walk 3-6 miles a day over varied terrain. These shoes keep my foot in a better position hence my knees don't hurt by the end of the day. With the zero heel drop, I have a more balanced stride. My old trail runners "pushed" me onto the ball of my foot and crowded my toes. My foot is narrow with a wider toe area. These shoes work well with the lacing and a mid-weight hiking sock. My toes are very comfy in these trail runners. I hope they have good wear/longevity. I'll know in a month.

I used to wear Timps until they changed and became too narrow for me. The Lone Peaks are just right. I appreciate that the website shows which footbed each shoe has.

I have fan shaped feet that are only wide in my forefoot. I could NEVER find shoes that fit correctly. If they fit my forefoot, they'd be too big in the heel. Or if they fit the heel and forefoot, they'd be way too long and I'd trip over my own feet. I was fed up and did some research and found Altra Original Foot Shape. I read to size up a half size, so I took what my size should be in length and added the half size. I put them on and they were PERFECT. I've never had a pair of shoes that fit right. Wish I would have found Altra sooner! The first time I really wore them was for a 10 day trip to Las Vegas and San Francisco. I did a ton of walking! Tired muscles, but no pain from my shoes. Did some trails out by the Grand Canyon and was impressed with how stable they were. The shoes look like they haven't even been worn. Held up great even with all the walking on pavement. 100% recommend for fan shaped feet! Thank you Altra. I'm very happy! Can you make more styles of road shoes in the Original Foot Shape?

Been running in these for about a month. I've always had to have an insert to help with a neuroma in my left foot. I've had no pain, and am not wearing an insert in these. Total game changer!!!!

So the first time I ordered this shoe, I ordered my usual 10.5 size. However this ended being far too small. I sent it back and got the 11.5 instead and it is seriously SO comfortable! I'll be ordering these shoes again and again!

I've been looking for a shoe what accommodates my bunion and my personal need for wiggle room. These are the ones. These sneakers are soft in the sole and have a wide deep toe box. I'll definitely buy this brand again!!!

With the wide size, these are a perfect fit. I didn't know how.great it would feel to have proper space for my wide, high volume feet. I'm generally a 7.5W in sneakers and these fit perfectly TTS.

I bought the wide width and regular width and decided to keep the wide width as I have bunions. Perfect fit! Great for hiking!

Shoes were wonderful for wet hiking and plantae fasciitis issues. Worn for 12+ hours on the go for a week straight and had no issues

I love that these shoes don't have a raised heel like most other athletic shoes. The fact that I was able to find a great shoe with a wide width is beyond amazing. I work on my feet all day & they're great!

I've been wearing Altras for a few years. My daily wear pairs needed an upgrade and these were the winners. Love the green/pink shade especially and would like to see Altra release more in this color.

Call me obsessed but yeah I had to have these trail runners in all available colors. Once you find the perfect shoe you don't want to let go and I don't want to let go of my Lone Peak 6. The width, weight, feel and support are what you expect from Altra. I remember first seeing this brand emerge and I was stoked to see the innovative they showed during an exhibition in San Diego during a triathlon expo. I'm a fan and highly recommend these shoes and this brand.

My pedorthist helped me find your company. Please consider offering the Lone Peak All Weather Mid in Wide. My feet need the Original Fit plus the Wide option. I live in Colorado and need the warmth of a more insulated shoe for much of the year. Thank you!

I'm on my feet 12+ hours a day, many on cement. These shoes have helped my back and I love the way they fit and look. I would like more colors though including black.

Running and walking feels great. Wide toe box is a must.

This is my second pair of Lone Peaks. I use them for trail running, road running, hiking, walking, everything. I have a bunion and this is the first brand that actually feels great! Will buy again!!

I love these shoes -- I have had the lone peak 5s and now these 6s, as well as the escalantes, superiors and provisions, but these (in addition to the lone peak 5s) are by far my favorite fit and feel. I wear these on trail runs and the road, and they are super grippy and sturdy. I had Peroneal tendon issues and I swear switching to the Lone Peaks saved me due to their wide and comfy width (along with physical therapy). 10/10 would recommend (if you have a wider toe box like me!)

Bought these unsure of the fitting. I have narrow feet with a high arch. I love them. Just got back from Universal, Bush Gardens, and trail walking in Florida. We walked over 52 miles and these shoes were so comfortable. Vest purchase this year! This definitely will not be my only pair.

I have been using my Lone Peak shoes for a while now, in light snow and icy conditions, and have found them to be solid under my feet but like clouds in the cushion department around my feet. I am very happy with them and eager to get out on longer trails this summer. *** bought a 2nd pair to break in both for an upcoming 5 day backpacking adventure
