The size said 12. But they were not 12s. The European size should have read 46.5 but instead read 45. They seemed like counterfeit, knockoffs. I was very disappointed.
I have owned many Altra Lone Peaks. These were not those but imitations.

I emailed customer service to return the shoes within the 30 day window and it's been 3 days with no response. These shoes are either defective or very cheaply made. I wore them on a 5 mile hike and they have a ripped/worn spot. I have only had them 3 weeks. I am really bummed.

They sent two left shoes and one of them was the wrong size. Returned for a refund. Still waiting on that! Ordered from Salomon and got great shoes. Don’t waste your time with Zappos

Do not buy. Strap cardboard to your feet instead. Customer service is abysmal. Expect to wait 4+ weeks for a refund from an awful product.

flimsy feel right out of the box. you can tell they shoes are cheaply made. i almost didn't bother putting them on, but i did. the footbed is rock hard. there's no room to wear the shoes in; they are asphalt. no support going up the medial aspect, no give in the laces, and still a tight arch despite what this "shoe company" advertises. do. not. buy.

While this still has the wide toe box Altra is known for, these don't have any toe protection. Get these if you're ok with stubbed toes and black/lost toenails.
