I love this tent and the vestibule is awesome but it would be so great to be able to purchase a second full coverage fly for all season/small space use. Please make a full coverage fly to fit this tent- I will buy it!!!

I am told that wear and tear are not overed under the limited lifetime warranty although camping should not destroy the physics of the waterproof bed.

Great warm weather tent, but with only mesh between main and vestibule it's not great when it's cool
Or windy. Would be better with zip in/out solid door in addition to mesh separating areas. In cooler camping I rig a blanket between the two areas.

Tent protect you from rain, any rain, don't worry about rain with this tent, but it don't protect you from wind or cold. I like two rooms in tent, especially in rain you are comfortable can sit and eat/read or speak or something else do. It's high enough to stand inside tent.
What is I don't like- because I am not tall, so it's difficult to set up without help. Tent is heavy.
Tent is big so when you choose site you must look is it will be enough space for tent and car.

This is a fabulous tent! I love that we can stand up straight in it and that it has lots of easily accessible storage/organization pockets, plus the clothesline that runs around the inside perimeter so you can hang things to dry when it's wet outside. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the zippers catch the fabric and get jammed over and over again. It's maddening, but I have developed a way of running a finger along the zipper as I pull the zipper tab to try and keep the fabric away from the zipper teeth

Tent is huge, at least to someone used to small backpacking tents. Easy to set up even for short people and surprisingly quick for the size. Held up amazing in a downpour that was flooding the ground around us. Stayed completely dry inside. Bugs like to collect in the vestibule especially in wet weather. Don't love the placement of the interior stash pockets. Was in love with it and still pleased but am now concerned about longevity because one pole already got a small crack on only the third time setting it up. Hasn't snapped yet but am not sure if it will another time I go to set it up and the poles didn't come with a repair piece.

This is a very nice tent. We've had ours for a few years, and aren't considering replacing it yet. It's been weathertight and has withstood some heavy winds, and the ventilation is superb.
The aluminum poles are not industry standard sizes, and North Face does not sell replacements or repair parts, so you'll need to find a specialist for repair. It would be improved by having solid panels to cover the mesh panels for cold weather. The footprint should have been included for the price, and it appears that people are having some issues with availability, although we got ours at the time of purchase.
Still, this is a nice tent. Pack size is reasonable, the vestibule is a luxury, and it sets up easily after the first time. I'm tall, so I can set it up solo unless it's windy. When this one is worn out, another Wawona will be on the list, especially if North Face makes some improvements in the next generation. As an aside, we really like the subdued appearance of the grey/green.

It was almost the perfect tent. The door between the vestibule and the sleeping section is mesh. There is not way to fully enclose yourself in. So much cold night air and not way to stop it brutal flaw

Great tent! Only problem is that the footprints are out of stock everywhere and apparently discontinued. Please reach out TNF if you can find one for me

This is an incredible car camping tent. I just took it out for a trip and there was heavy rain for about 4 hours overnight and we stayed completely dry (our friends did not). The vestibule is a really nice feature. The tent has good airflow through it and we didn't feel stuffy even with the rain.. The setup took about 20 minutes, which was totally reasonable in my mind. The construction seems to be of high quality.
My one issue is that you can't fit 6 people in this tent. You can put 5 people max in this tent. In my mind, it is borderline false advertising to say that this tent can fit 6 adults. Hence my 3 stars.

We received our tent amd it is great. Easy to set up and use. The challenge is that it does not come with a drop cloth or foot print, as Northface callsit. This has to be purchased separately. The real challenge is that altjough you can pirchase the tent. The drop cloth/ foot print is unavailable and no one at Noth Face has a clue when they will be. What the heck?

I bought this for car camping with 4 (2 young kids) and a 60lbs lab. Plenty of room. The vestibule is awesome for a mud room/bike storage (we stake down a tarp for a floor) only drawbacks are 1. This is a 2 man job for the vestible and 2. The poles are flimsy. You have to be super careful. Bent the first one early and have been easy on them sense, but the second is bent as well now. Still useable but the tent is a bit lopsided.
Love the space, but just be wary of the poles.

Easy to set up, and kept us dry in a storm. 4 people is cramped. It gets pretty cold with the mesh door in spring and fall. Having to open window flaps from the outside is incredibly annoying.

Tent is great, but a pole was broken. Trying to get a replacement part is a huge, annoying hassle. They should sell individual replacement poles but do not,

This is a nice tent but I received it with a manufacturing defect. North Face told me that I would have to ship it back to them at my cost and the turnaround for repair or replacement would be 6-8 weeks. I don't want to miss out on 2 months of the outdoor season. I would have hoped the company would stand by their product more than this.

After seeing the raintesting and seam-taping reviews on youtube, I was extremely excited to invest in this tent because I always get caught in the rain. The main issue is durability; I used it for one trip and came up with a few concerns as the zipper was getting caught and my tent has immediately sprung three small holes not protected by the rain fly. I am very cautious with my belongings, especially ones that are this expensive. I do environmental circle checks at my campsites, and I orient the tent most safely, avoiding dead trees in proximity and clean the interior and exterior with each use.
I contacted the warranty claim people, and they do not believe it to be a defect. I wish I had known beforehand that the tent was this fragile, as I have not had this issue previously with my cheaper Coleman tents except further in their lifecycle where it's expected.

We needed a large tent that was light because we use it when we camp along side our airplane. First night we used it a storm hit us and a pole was broken. We could not get a replacement.

The tent was comfortable over the summer but quickly the zipper gave out. The lifetime warranty cost us over $100 to get it fixed so keep that in mind!

Great tent for warm, dry climates. Not recommended if you live in the Pacific Northwest. Very poor weather resistance. Half a fly??

I like the design and the north face products but unfortunately you need to have extra pole if you want to buy this product

The tent seems to be good but the pole broke on first use. After many calls, they refused to send me a replacement pole even if I was willing to pay for it.

The first iteration of this tent was epic and I used it for many years. Got the new model last year and it has been rehashed and cheapened drastically and it leaked. Sent it back. Very disappointing.
