Absolutely love this jacket! I just arrived in Alaska where it has really taken a beating and it's performed amazingly well. Truly waterproof and handles the wind with ease. It feels true to size with perhaps just a tiny bit larger which is great for layering. Front chest pocket is super handy. I didn't think I really needed it until now I can't imagine not having it. Quality materials.

I received this jacket as a result of a warranty repair. Couldn't be happier with the jacket and the customer support. I was so impressed that I was compelled to write and email to the customer support team to thank them. From now on if I need new things my first stop is going to be North face.

This works well as a shell and raincoat. One thing to keep in mind is that the hood is not adjustable and can be pretty deep, meaning it does get in the way if not wearing a hat.
