Wanted a lighter than snow rain jacket for spring

This jacket is fine as the lightweight jacket to wear when you need something more than just wearing a shirt. It also takes up very little room in a carry-on bag or suitcase when on travel.

Excellent jacket. Great pockets sizes, hood is intuitive to use, zipper style is great.

Great product. Nice fit, great lightweight rain jacket. It will work well for my upcoming trip since it doesn't take up too much space.

So far so good. I have only worn this rain jacket once in light rain and I stayed dry.

Fantastic rain shell. Comfy, full of great pockets, and is now my go too for any rainy outing. Can't recommend enough. The fit is comfortable and to size.

Good solid rain jacket

Great packable rain shell

Perfect weight raincoat jacket for Central Coast winter and spring rains. Waterproofing is the biggest feature as well as zippered pockets to protect valuables from water.

I used it hiking on a rainy day with a backpack. Kept me dry. Shoulders were a little damp from the backpack straps at the end.

I wore it on a steadily rainy day hiking wearing a backpack for a little over an hour. Does not keep you warm but it is a rain jacket, not a sweater. Kept me dry, my shoulders were a tiny bit damp from where the backpack straps were. Otherwise, really good quality rain gear.

I like the Alta Vista because it is lightweight, keeps me dry, and looks great. The material and zippered openings under the arms help to minimize internal moisture retention. A North Face rain jacket has been my choice for over 20 years and there is nothing here to make me look elsewhere.

Really good against the wind and rain. I love the chest pocket I usually put my phone in it. I also love that you can stow it in the chest pocket.
