The coats are great except that one of the sleeve collars is already coming off. Otherwise the girls love their new coats.

A pricey jacket for sure but it was my son's favorite jacket last year. Excellent quality and super soft. Sadly he outgrew it. I'm back to buy another and disappointed to see no new colors are offered for a boy. So it's navy again.

It is cozy and the fit is good. But the quality is poor. I bought this one for my son and a toddler size 3 for my daughter. The fleece on both is pulling.

This jacket is furry. It is not like the traditional fleece that captures in heat. It's more like those furry throws you see sold everywhere. Quite honestly it doesn't feel warm especially for the price. That is why I gave it 2 stars.

I bought the his for my granddaughter for her birthday and we have complaints th hat th he material sheds on her clothes and especially on the car seats and safety belts. Very difficult go get the shedded material off other surfaces- has been washed and still does it. Very disappointed.

The stitching on the wrist unraveled and came apart in a few days.

I recently bought 2 of these fleece jackets in 2 different colors and sizes for my grand daughters. The medium in muted purple was perfect-it was warm and cozy, fit great and my grand daughter loved it. The large one in blue pine, however, is a completely different story. From the day my grand daughter first wore this fleece jacket, the blue pine lint was found on the shirt she was wearing, but she really liked the jacket as it was so warm and cozy. Great to have at our summer cabin. We brought it home and washed it, and cuss words could be heard through out the house when it came out of the dryer. There was lint from her fleece jacket on every item that went through the dryer, from socks to t-shirts to jeans. It took us over 3 hours (!) to get the lint off all the clothing. What a pain! I have no idea why one color was fine and one was not. I do NOT recommend buying this fleece!

I purchased this fleece for my grandson and mailed it out of state. This weekend I saw first hand what his mother was complaining about: the navy blue fuzz is everywhere!!!!! Washing has not lessened the impact. It is all over his pants and tops! I regret this purchase.

This jacket constantly sheds even after washing and drying. I do not recommend. I would give zero stars if I could.

We loved it until we dried it in a laundromat and the fleece melted. We only had it a year......too bad Beans won't let you return things.

Like other reviewers my jacket also sheds. I've never had fleece shed onto the seats of the car or snow pants before! The shedding seems to be unique to this coat as I have the women's pullover version as well and have had no issues. The coat itself is otherwise quite nice- fits well, soft and warm. If anybody has found a way to stop the shedding, I'd love to know!

We were excited about how soft this was, but the piling is coming out after 2 washes, all over the house. (This was washed according to instruction). This quality is not customary to prior purchases from LL Bean, so it might be product specific. I would not recommend this coat.

We bought this sweater last year (2019) and it was terrific. My kid had a big growth spurt so we had to buy the next size up this year. We have now washed it three times and my kid cannot wear it. From the moment we got it, it sheds like my Husky in May. It is getting worse, not better, with every wash. We are following the care instructions to a T and still it sheds to the point it is unwearable. We will be returning it to an LL bean store in the next week. Save yourself the trouble and buy their regular fleece sweaters, not this one. Too bad bc last year's same sweater is so warm and snuggly it was my kid's favorite.

I have been a loyal LL Bean fan for years. This is the first review I have ever written, this is the WORST jacket I have EVER purchased. It pilled EVERYWHERE! I have pink fuzzies all over my house, all over my car, and all over our other clothes. It's ridiculous! I tried washing & drying it and it ruined all couple of dry fit T-shirt's with its incessant pink fuzzies. I'm sick that I spent so much money on such an awful product. What's worse is not only did I spend so much money on this coat, I now feel forced to go to a competitor & buy a new one. Very disappointed LL Bean.

Very disappointed. LL Bean used to be a reliable brand. My daughter really wanted it. The jacket shed and left dark lint all over the tee underneath (we got the Navy color). I washed it once according to label instructions (cool water, delicate cycle, no heat drying) before wearing. I am contacting the customer service for a refund. I would not recommend this jacket to anyone. It is soft and nice-looking yet thin and provides no real warmth, but the main issue is lint it would leave on child's clothing. It is grossly overpriced for having such poor quality.
