I buy A LOT of LL Bean items for my kids and we love LL Bean generally. I would give this fleece 5 stars, but there was one huge problem and that's why we returned it. My daughter has a sensory issue and the very small cuffs on the sleeves are TORTURE for her. She needs a much longer cuff. She couldn't tolerate this fleece at all. We returned this one and ordered a Land's End fleece for her instead that, from the picture, has much longer cuffs. Land's End zippers tend to break fast for us, so it's a shame the LL Bean fleece didn't work out. The color was exactly what you see on the website and really beautiful. The plush parts of the fleece was SO SOFT. I was a bit heart-broken returning it. These fleece's seem really nice. Ah well.

This fleece sheds on EVERYTHING! My daughter can't put it on anything without excessive shedding happening. Can't hang it on a chair on my coat or my coat is covered in teal fleece fur. Her clothes are layered in fleece fur.

My son loves this hoodie, but it sheds everywhere! Even after washing, his clothes are covered head to toe in fuzz every day after school. This is the third week he's worn this hoodie and it just won't stop shedding! I may have to just donate it at this point because it's contaminating all his clothes and the fuzz doesn't even come out in the wash. Such a shame because it's a well made garment and he clearly loves it but I can't handle the excessive shedding!!! So disappointed.

This is beautiful and extra large for my daughter so she has room to grow into it. She's sick but very tall so I bought a large. She weighs 71 pounds and she's 4 foot two.

I've purchased my children this fleece (in different sizes and colors) for Christmas for the past three years. They are warm and hold their shape after many washes! My only wish is that LL Bean would continue offering this fleece with the bear ears through the age of 12seriously, they are so cute.

Very happy with the jacket - handsome details, and very cozy. My grandson liked it. He is 12, but a SMALL 12 (78 lbs.), and the size M (10-12) was doable but skimpy . Re-ordered in Large.

Has been a consistent favorite for my kids the last several years. Keep getting them the next size up as they outgrow them. Got them similar fleeces one year, nowhere near as nice, and could never get grass or twigs fully out of the material, really regretted not getting them a bean fleece that year. Just wish there were more masculine color options for those who prefer outdoorsy/woodsy colors options.

Bought 3 for 3 grandkids as it's a super looking and feeling jacket.They loved it. Size 10 had very long sleeves.

Very warm and welcoming to wear. Fits nicely. My great grandson tried it on and did not want to take it off!

Finally something soft for little boys. Most companies cater to girls comfort. Thank you for making something super soft for little boys. More color choices would be great. He loves this fabric and so do I.

i bought the 8 for my tall, skinny 8 year old and returned it to buy the 10. it's perfect. nice and fluffy and warm. we are in chicago so kiddo needs this to get through fall and then to wear under his big coat for winter. I suggest sizing up so that when you wash it and it shrinks? it still fits.

This jacket is super cozy, my son loves it! It also washes well.

My daughter loves how soft and warm this coat is. She loves it so much that when she grew out of it she asked me to buy it again in a bigger size. It's well made and held up through several years of use including travel and sports practices. She loves the pockets and the built in hood is a plus. I bought it big so she could get a couple seasons of use out of it.

My granddaughter is very picky about clothes. They must be very soft or she won't wear them. The jacket is perfect! She loves it.
