I love this back pack. I wanted something fun for our trips to the hospital. I needed something that would carry everything, iPad and snacks while spending the day there. This is colorful and lightweight.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my middle schooler and he loves it so far. It has plenty of space and pockets for everything he brings to school every day, plus the water bottle holder on each side. He loves that he can easily fit everything he needs in there and doesn't have to carry as many things.

After carrying her new backpack to school after Christmas, my little granddaughter said she "really likes it." The print is pretty, and I hope it will hold up as well as they did when my children were in school. She likes it, and that's really all that matters.

This will be a great book bag for my 5th grade grandson.

This is a replacement of the same backpack. The only issue with the previous one was the side elastics remain stretched out from repeated carrying of a water bottle to school (over 3.5 years of constant use).

This backpack is great. The backpack is made with very strong material and holds up extremely well. It is roomy enough to add quite a bit of stuff/books. It is the only backpack I have purchased over the years.

We now have three of these backpacks and they are fantastic! They are comfortable, even when loaded down and, most importantly, they LAST. We have had two for five years and the third for maybe a month or two. My stepsister? She's had hers for about 30 years. Still uses it after using it all through middle school, high school, and college plus life after college. That is why I will happily buy L.L. Bean's products! I kind of want one for myself.

My daughter is 7 and this backpack has enough room for books, folders and her lunch box.

I bought two of these for my grandchildren. Both of them have raved about their bags. They're very sturdy, roomy and well made. A great investment

This backpack is the perfect size update for a later elementary aged child. The extra space has made a big difference and she was thrilled with the variety of patterns offered.

I got one of these book bags back when I was in middle school in the late 1990s and it lasted until I graduated from high school so when I was in the market for a new book bag this was my go to and it has not disappointed me! I love how much space there is and how pretty it is and of course the ability to have it monogrammed. I love this back pack!!

This was a gift to grandson. It was requested because the family has used these backpacks since 35 years ago. None of the have ripped or caused problems. Each of them lasts a minimum of 3 school years and only gets dirty and they want a bigger one. Most of the time it is a BD present and they are super happy a new one! Thanks for making such a durable product!

My senior in high school needed a new book bag. The initials engraving was only eight bucks. My grandparents have always done this for me with different items. I saw the commercial of the little girl asking L.L. Bean how to destroy her book bag to get a new one because her parents wouldn't do it until hers was destroyed. I thought that was hilarious. I am jealous. I want one too. Only I'd like to see it for a book bag, backpack, and a travel hiking backpack. Oh yes, I forgot my dog and he has one too. I'm thinking of my niece as well and my nephew so I may do this in the future. I find that your products are strong . Thank you for putting excellent since your product. Oh by the way, if it's not too much, I'd like a coupon for shoes :D. I saw your tennis shoes were very strong, cushy, very well-made, rubber, and leather. I might not be able to afford your product and buy them when they're on sale. My grandmother used to get all of us a pair of your insulated jeans. Those are amazing as well! I might ask my daughter to apply for a summer job there next year so that she can get some discounts lol.

I bought this for my grandson whose is 7. He is rough with his stuff and this is a great backpack for him. I have bought LLBean back packs for my kids when they were in school and they have been out for 20 plus years and they still have them. Great packs and very durable. Love them.

Very durable brand, good quality, affordable and worth it

This is our second LLBean backpack; we have now bought one for each of our children. They're roomy and carry everything my kid needs for a day away from home, and I love the durability. While they're a bit of an investment upfront, these backpacks more than pay for themselves within a few years.

Great quality and able to purchase a matching lunchbox was a bonus.
