Very well made! Granddaughter loves it. Great book bag as she enters high school!

This is a high quality backpack. There's no issues with stitching or zippers. The monogram adds a nice personal touch and class. I love the many compartments. I also have the roller backpack.

We love these for school! The only reason we have to get a new one is to change the color because they last multiple school years! Great quality!

I got my pink backpack around 20 years ago and it's lasted me into my adulthood. I'm about to send it in because a zipper broke, which is the first issue I've ever had with it. The design is a tad different now, meaning they now have side mesh pockets for water bottles. I hope to keep using it for another 20 years and more.

My son has been using this bag for over 20 years. High school, college, hunting, camping, boating, trips, and much more. It shows the wear and he still uses the bag.

L. L. Bean backpacks are durable, comfortable, and high-quality. I don't buy any other type of backpack for my children.

I've wanted one of these book-bags since I was a little girl. I finally am grown and bought myself one. I LOVE IT! It fits all my college books/laptop/notebooks and I couldnt be more happier. Other book-bags just don't have the room like this LL Bean book-bag does.

My boys were going through multiple bookbags per school year when my husband suggested ordering these. We got one for my youngest first, who once destroyed a bag within a week. He made it through an entire school year and the bag looks brand new! When my oldest needed a new bag, there was no hesitation to order him one as well. These bags are high quality yet are priced similarly to the ones they kept destroying. They love them, too!

This pack is almost identical to the one that carried my stuff for 28 years! Five minutes to transfer my stuff and I am back in the game.

I bought this bookpack to replace an L.L.Bean bookpack I bought about 15 years ago. My son carried that bag through middle and high school. I then carried it many year more (I'm a teacher.) I have also carried it on my many travels. It just recently got a hole in the bottom. The quality of L.L. Bean is remarkable. I love this new bookpack. It has some new details the older version didn't have. It is the perfect size, comfortable to carry and has great features. I look forward to carrying this pack as long as I did the other.

My grandkids like this backpack and it has room to grow. My only suggestion would be some better colors for girls like pink or purple.

I just replaced the one I had since college which has been a few decades ago ! That one had stains and dirt from years of use but otherwise was still intact . The new one is even better in that no one had lap tops when I got my first one :) this one had nicer padding along the back as well . Love this color as well !! It's roomy , comfortable and I like to use it as a carryon on plane . It can fit under seat in front of you which is nice . Plenty of room!

LL Bean book bags are timeless. I had one for high school in the eighties, and now my children have them for high school.

Awesome for day camp. Lightweight, fits a towel and change of clothes and dries easily! Lots of compartments/pockets. Matching lunch bag is essential!

Love this backpack it is my second one in 30 years

The title says it all. I got my money's worth out of this backpack and on the outside it still looks almost perfect. The inside lining is starting to break down and tiny particles are getting on my books. No problem. The replacement will be almost identical except for the mesh pouches on the sides. A great backpack for less than two dollars per year. I hope to be carrying the new backpack with a heavy load of books for another 28 years - I will be 98 years old by then :-)

Backpack is perfect for me, a small framed female. It fits under the airline seat in front of me and holds everything I need with room to spare. Multiple pockets make it easy to find stuff.
