This backpack hits all the marks. Functional, looks great, high quality, and something mother and child could agree on with enthusiasm. I bought this for an average sized 5th grader. We'll only have to replace it if he wants another style for high school, but I'll keep it forever.

Has so much space to carry, comfortable when full and water bottle holder on side keeps inside items from getting damp. Great upgrades to the original deluxe pack without losing the original pluses!
