We buy the Book Packs for our granddaughters. They like the packs we bought them 3 years ago and wanted a different color one for this school year.

Lots of space, compartments and pockets. Zippers work easily. Overall a well made product.

My son loved this book bag. He loves all the pockets and the fact that's it's his favorite color.

Our second one of these for our second son, it's pretty much the perfect backpack for middle school!

My daughter loves this book bag. Plenty of room for all of her stuff plus some.

Had an L.L Bean "original" backpack as a kid over 30 years ago and loved it. Needed a backpack again for travel and thought I'd get another (but larger) one. I love it, holds so much and is quite sturdy!

I had this bag as a kid and bought one for my 5th grader. Same high quality I remember, but now with a water bottle pocket, so better than the one I had in the 90s!

I've been wearing lo bean since I was in middle school and I'm 37 now. I tried other brands of backpacks and although there are other good brands, lol bean stands alone

I was reluctant to spend so much on a backpack, especially since I have 3 kids, but this is definitely worth the money. I can already tell a huge difference between this and cheaper backpacks my kids have had - easier zippers, more thoughtful storage, thicker shoulder straps and waist strap, TWO beverage holders - just all around higher quality that will last for years.

Exactly what we wanted. Functional, very nice looking. Very sturdy.

PROS: I purchased this backpack to use as my daily carrier to work and for regular travel as my carry-on bag. It's very roomy and has a million inner pockets for cords, writing implements, reading glasses, as well as the three mail compartments for laptop, books, a sweater, etc. The silver-gray color is neutral enough to go with any outfit while traveling, and also dark enough to keep it from quickly looking grubby. CONS: It IS quite boxy looking on my back (I'm 5'6'' slender build). If there were a narrower slimline version of this bag, I'd chose that....but that's the tradeoff for how much room this provides.

The book bag is very sturdy. My daughter loves that she has lots of space!

Very happy with the purchase. My child can organize all his stuff very well and yet not feel it too stuffed. Things are easy to find and take out as well. This is very new so has not been cleaned yet but we are happy to switch over to LL Bean bag. Hopefully it lasts as it says it should.

This is a perfect bookbag and I am hopeful that it will last for years to come

Love this backpack! Lots of room, pockets inside are great for kindles, headphones, love the color, too! Used as my carryon for a flight and fit under the seat perfectly!
