Great backpack for kindergartener! Lightweight which makes it easy to carry if you don't overload it.

LL Bean backpacks are always good quality and an even better value if you have a coupon when purchasing! The matching lunchboxes are great for coordinating and the ability to personalize them both is great.

I purchased this item to replace my grandson's LLBean backpack that bought years ago. The hook hanger was coming apart and LLBean no longer replaces defective items more than one year old. So I had him make his choices for his replacement backpack. This was a great exercise for him as he needed to understand when it's monogrammed, he cannot return it. When I took him the package to him, he ripped into the package and was thrilled with his choices! He filled his new backpack and proudly took it to first grade the next day. I think it's nice to have a new school use item mid year. It's a pick-me-up!

Adorable print and typical amazing ll bean style bag. It's strong and durable. We love it, just need to get the matching lunchbox back in stock so we can match!

We got this bag with the bug design for my little guy. He's a fan of all bugs, snails, worms, creepy crawlers. He hasn't used it yet too much (saving it for elementary), but it's classic great quality!

I have gotten each of my children this backpack when they started pre school. Its perfect size to hold a folder and change of clothes and hold up for years!

This is a perfect backpack for a preschooler! It is small enough that it does not completely engulf my little guy, but is large enough to fit a standard sized take home folder (which can certainly be a struggle with mini backpacks.)

I bought this as a gift for my grandson in Ireland. The bag is made very well and will have no problem standing up to the abuse of a 5yr old. He will be using it for school and traveling back and forth to the states.
