Impressed by the quality and cuteness! And how quickly it arrived, even monogrammed.

We purchased this backpack for our child starting preschool. We are happy with the product. The zippers are easy for her to use and the materials appear sturdy. She is very excited to use it and loves the butterfly print. The reflective strip is a nice addition to the product design and shows the thoughtfulness of the design process.

I got this for my 3-year-old for summer camp and preschool. She loves it. Appears to be super solid. Hope her little sister likes it as well, cuz we got this one for the long haul!

Adorable forest print! Made of high quality materials that will, no doubt, hold up to last through daycare, preschool, kindergarten, and longer! Size is great for a toddler to handle. Currently using as a diaper bag.

This a perfect bag for a little one who loves dinosaurs! I have ordered this design before, and it was a hit for a pre-schooler.

I needed a backpack that fit the specs for a "personal item" for a European flight and this backpack worked perfectly. As expected this backpack is reliable LL Bean quality. Built for kids, but also handy for adults at a fantastic price.

My children always had llbean backpacks. My 26 year old daughter still has the backpack and lunchbox she got in second grade. Her daughter has been using the lunch box for Mother's Day out. For Easter I let them pick out a small backpack and lunch box. We ordered the daisy print. It was back ordered but my granddaughter loves it! She'll have to do some growing but it will still carry her change of clothes and lunch when she needs it. Two water bottle pockets would be an improvement but otherwise it's great! I hope it lasts as long as her mother's!

First, we are very happy with this purchase and I have no regrets. So, know that the cons I mention don't take away from how pleased we are with the backpack. My child goes to half-outdoor pre-K, and all her gear takes a beating. This has stood up to it all so far. It can fit her nap blanket, folder, LL Bean lunchbox, and other odds and ends like a hat and mittens. That being said, it's not tall enough for the folder to fit easily; it has to be tucked in the back. I wish it were a little taller. Second, she struggles occasionally with the zipper (and I do too!) because of the zipper cover. It's very recessed, which is nice for keeping things dry, but it's so stiff that it impedes the zipper function. Third, the water bottle holder is a little small. We use thermos, camelbak and simple modern bottles, and while they fit, my kiddo has a difficult time using the pocket independently and often puts the bottles directly into the bag, which has occasionally resulted in some leaks. The material itself is durable, the lazy daisy print is beautiful and vibrant, and she has decked out the zippers with keychains to make them easier to pull. I will upgrade her to the 24L size for kindergarten to make sure her folders fit and use this for my younger kiddo for daycare. All in all, happy with the purchase, but if your child is kindergarten+, I would probably just go with the 24L bag!

This has been a fantastic backpack for my daughter. It has lasted through two years at nature preschool, and she is now using it in kindergartenand it still looks and functions great. Fits a lunch box, water bottle, change of clothes, and small odds and ends (sun screen, hat, library book, etc). So pleased with this purchase.

Perfect for a little one on those family hiking trips. Or a trip to Grandma's. The monogram makes it extra special.

This is a very well made backpack! It's a great size for my 6 year old to grow into, yet fits well now. Simple, but has all the pockets and straps you want/need! Customer service was excellent, we will definitely purchase this when our 4 year old gets bigger!

The bright happy flower design was right up her ally. Her older brother and sister have the next size up but this was good for a 4 year old.

I have always bought LLBEAN backpacks for my kids and now grandkids, they last for many years through much use for school and hiking. I have my own bag for over 25 years, used for hiking and work, it still looks good and no issues with material or zippers.

This was bought for my 6th child. We use them as diaper bags and then they use them till around 4th grade. We love them. Saves money in the long run as we aren't buying new backpacks every year.

It's incredible. Everything we wanted and more and our daughter is so happy with her bag! The name was perfectly embroidered and the color was just like we wanted!

Have given these to Nieces, Nephews and now Great Nieces and Nephews on their 2nd birthdays full of books. Several of these are still in use after 25 - 32 years. Hope these newer ones last this long.

Purchased this for my 6y/o and she absolutely loves it! It's perfect size for her, is made of durable fabric, and has a great organizational front pocket. We added a monogram and it turned out beautifully.

It is a great pack for short day trips for small/short people or kids. It has good organization in front pocket. Large main pocket it without pockets but not needed for me. It is stated to be water proof.
