I love the look of the shoes I ordered but they were not true to size. I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning them so I gave them to a family friend. The color was a lot lighter than I expected as well. I still love New Balance products but sad I was not able to enjoy my new pair of sneakers.

Love the 1080v series shoes. But this latest edition the sizing is so off from prior models. So much so that we had to buy this shoe several times just to nail down which one felt best on my fiancee's feet and we never got there. We gave up. Heads up to anyone buying this shoe. They run insanely large and if you have wide feet, you will have an extremely hard time figuring out what size you need

I put my orthotics in these on and set off on a jaunty pace in my living room to try these out. I started limping with the third step. The tongue is attached to the sides with a piece of elastic which makes them tight across the top. They are also a bit long, a problem that has been chronic for NB for awhile.

The cushioning is too stiff. The sizing is awkward as the shoe is long and narrow from the toe box to toe even with the extra wide sizing. The 2021 FF was far superior in comfort and fit. Would like to return this pair as they are not comfortable.

The shoes I ordered were pre worn as evidenced by the worn soles, dirt, and scuff marks. The package itself arrived totally damaged and the box fell apart when I attempted to remove it from the out packaging. Overall, very disappointed in the lack of quality control and returned the shoes I ordered.

I was honestly expecting more out of these shoes, but found that the foam and comfort was positioned weirdly- mostly at the heel which caused an uncomfortable forward running motion. They were also very high impact on the ground. They're definitely okay for shorter distances, not longer. They look cool though.

I have many pairs of these shoes and love them. This pair has rubbed my feet raw and hurt to wear.

I loved the V11 and was so excited for this version. Everything is an improvement except the heel cup. It's hard, doesn't prevent heel slip, and brought back my Achilles tendinitis.

Feet are not comfortable after my run. The shape is not optimal. Also, don't pick white, the fabric is not meant for easy maintenance. We shouldn't hve to wash them every week.

I am a retiree with bad osteoarthritis in both feet due to a botched surgery when I was 21. I HUGELY rely on these shoes and wear them practically every day, even inside, which means I have to buy them at least every 6 months. I usually buy two so I can change them out. I bought the bright blue pair. Felt great, no problems, took their advice about going down a half size. Big mistake with these black ones. Same shoe, same size, EXTREMELY TIGHT AND UNCOMFORTABLE! I thought they would stretch but they have not. Now I'm stuck with these and horrible foot pain till I can wear them out. The clerk at a well known running shoe store told me sometimes they can be "built" differently. Really? Sounds like pour production practice to me. They're very expensive for me and I will most likely search for a different brand but that'll be difficult due to my issues. Get it together, New Balance! These are costly shoes!

I like them because they come in wide they aren't the ugliest but definitely are not very fashionable. I thought it was worth the trade off for a good cushioned wise running show. If I pivot at all it feels like my foot rolls over the sole. The upper fabric needs to be reinforced where it meets the sole so that it's not so wobbly with the slightest pivot.

I had to return because right shoe was one half inch narrower than the left

These shoes were a birthday gift. I was so excited to get them since I am a New Balance fanatic. I normally wear 8.5 however I noticed 8.5 fits a little too snug for my workouts so I went with a 9 when my friend asked. I think with any other NB shoe it would've been great however I was unaware these run extremely long and a bit more narrow they look HUGE like clown shows. Definitely runs a whole size too BIG. I wish I could exchange but since they were a gift I was never given a receipt to exchange. What a disappointment.

I've tried v11 and v12 but the heel is too thick and there is no longer a snug fit in the body because the elastic has been moved. There is less cushioning and it's too stiff.

I'm a huge fan of the 1080. I love the cushion the shoe provides without being too heavy. However I was disappointed with the V12. The new heel design features a lot more padding which kept rubbing on my heels and ankles. I kept pushing through the irritation saying I just needed to "break them in." But it did not improve and my ankles and heels just kept bothering me. I put on a pair of V11s I had laying around and saw a huge improvement. My ankles and heels stopped screaming at me and I was able to enjoy moving. Also the sizing runs large, I had to order half a size down from my usual. However, the soles were well padded and felt great. They were super supportive and I liked that they felt more cushioned than the V11. I really wanted to like these shoes but sadly the new heel design didn't work for me.

Ordered online. One shoe rubs horribly. I have been ordering this size of 1080s for years

Normally wear a 9 running shoe. Got an 8.5 and probably would have needed a 7.5 or 8 they are so large. There is zero arch in these shoes.
