Love this version of the fresh foam. They are different than the previous. A little stiffer but plenty of cushion and the back heal has more padding which is great for pulling on and off. I really liked the previous versions with the back thin but those heals also split more easily. The shoe was intact, I could just feel that whatever material is supporting the heal had broken inside. This new version has a much stronger heal. Fit appears the same as other versions.

Awesome shoes!! I’m 59 and have plantar fasciitis.. very flat feet. I have tried tons of brands and styles and nothing prevents heel pain or arch pain . These are the exception!! For the first time EVER I have no foot pain!!! Wore these all day they are fantastic! Cushioning with stability - no pain!! I even have a pair of Hoka and new balance blows them out of the water!! Can’t say enough about these life changing sneakers!!!! Thank you New Balance and Zappos!!!!!

These shoes have great cushioning and a wide toe box for comfort yet look great. Love the colors as well.

This is my second pair of NB. I have been wearing NB for a along time. These are the most comfortable sneaker. I am dealing with plantar fasciitis and my feet feel great when I wear the NB.

The only thing I can say is; PERFECTION! I will buy 10 of these if I have to

I love these shoes! They give my feet enough room and are super cushy! My feet have been called pathologies, due to several “ailments”; the 1080V 12 allow me to walk without pain-priceless

I did follow advice of other customers and got half size smaller than I usually get in NB, size 8 but ordered 7.5. If you have wide feet this shoe is not for you. I bought these NB for work. I’m on my feet 10+ hrs daily and my feet go inward when I walk. So far I had them on two days. I feel like there’s enough cushion and support. If I wore them outside on pavement, don’t feel like they would last very long. Overall it’s very nice looking shoe

I am a nurse on a telemetry floor and these shoes are so comfortable to wear for 12 hours.

Very comfortable. A good amount of cushion but still feels stable. The toe box has ample room. I usually wear a size 6.5 but I ordered a 6 based on other reviews and it was a perfect fit.

The NB 1080's never disappoint, and this update is no exception. Best cushioning for bunions! True to size and the most comfortable shoes I own. I have owned several 1080's, all in black. Went for the orange this time and they sure are bright and happy!

Finally a replacement for the 1080 v.9! I have struggled to find a shoe as comfortable for my wide, high instep feet. I tried v.10-11 and neither worked. This shoe is great without the sewn in tongue and high ankle back. I have no issue getting my instep to fit. It’s fine on my bunion. Thank you New Balance!

I ordered size wide which is fine but the shoes have no arch support whatsoever which is a big disappointment. Will go with Nike next time.

I absolutely loved the colors of these shoes. I ordered an 11 and an 11-1/2 narrow since reviews said they ran big. The 11-1/2 narrow fit best. I didn't love and way the toe sort of curls upward and was not fond of the elf-looking heel that comes up a little too high. As for comfort, even though the length was fine, it felt like the tops of my toes were rubbing on the shoes. Also thought there could be more arch support. In general, I just didn't think this would be comfortable enough for me when walking any distance and I returned them. I am wearing ASICS right now and love them, but they are no longer making 2A widths. People with very narrow feet are quickly running out of choices for athletic shoes! I usually wear New Balance with a roll bar but those are also getting scarce. Brooks shoes come in narrow but they are too high on the sides and rub my ankles. I think these Fresh Foams are beautiful and would work for most people, just not me.

The cushioning was not as comfortable as the same shoe I bought a year ago. It was supposed to be the same version, but the footbed did not feel as soft.

Other reviewers stated they had feet that were wide in the front but narrow in the heel and recommended this shoe. I purchased a 10M and the front of the shoe was a fine fit but my heels were too narrow and slipped out of the back of these shoes while walking. For the price point, the padding in the interior of this shoe is on the skimpy side and it felt irritating even though I changed to heavy socks to see if that would help the slippage problem. Disappointed that I will have to return these as the fresh foam felt really good.

I love my v11 model and since I use it all the time I've decided to buy another pair. I was disappointed they don't carry many v11 models anymore so thought I would try the v12 despite some negative reviews. The reviews are accurate: the model is very different in terms of support and comfort. The feet also look bigger and clunkier. I did not like the color either. There is something hard on the soles that makes the sides of the feet a little uncomfortable as well. I am returning it. Shoes are super personal: I have wide feet and need lots of cushioning. I found v11 models at Amazon and will buy another one there.

This pair did not work for me. New Balance shoes used to feature a wide toe box, but now they have added a more tapered new design. I will have to look more carefully at the pictures from now on.

I tried wearing these shoes for a few months, and unfortunately they made my feet hurt so bad. I have bunions, a wider front foot with a narrower heel, and high arches. It can be difficult combo for me to find shoes that work. The middle part of the shoe was so tight and restrictive that the first time I wore them my toes actually went numb. I loosened the laces up the next time, but it still made my big toe/ball of my foot ache in a painful almost like they do when I wear a high heel. I would only recommend these shoes if you don't strike hard on the ball of your foot and need no cushion there. If you have narrow feet, I could see these working as well. For reference, I usually buy Nikes in the medium width and have no problem. I've also owned several pairs of Saucony and had no issues. Will not buy New Balances again.

These shoes feel ok, but once I wear for a few days they cause my feel terrible arch pain and small toe pain. I did not buy from Zappos, however I wish I did so I could return. Big mistake, lesson learned.

These shoes were returned by someone else prior to me getting them because all of the return paperwork was still in the box. The box also was totally destroyed that the shoes were in when they arrived. Very disappointing. I know things are returned but it's nice to know they have been checked before resending out to another customer.

True to size. Most comfortable shoes I ever had.
