They were a bit heavy for long runs

I like these shoes however the left shoe was too small. My toe rubbed on the end. Have to return.

I always buy 10 wide and these seem sloppy, like maybe half size to big. In looks it was exactly as I anticipated.

They have LAVENDER on them and this was not obvious to me before I ordered them. I would have returned them but I needed them. They are very comfortable.

These are nice but look way more yellow online. In real life they are very peachy orange. They are called "apricot" after all, I should have paid attention!

The toe box is a little narrow and shallow even in the wide size that I ordered.

My first NB 1080’s were version 8’s. They’ve lasted longer than average from light use as I wear Birkenstocks more often. However after finally needing a new pair I opted for the V12’s. At first the width difference wasn’t super noticeable as the upper fabric expands. However, I’ve developed a tailors bunion on my right foot from retail work. After researching & measuring my shoes the width on the version 12’s are a half inch SMALLER in wide width. This is significant. I did some calculations on NB’s website and even their XX-Wide’s are a touch under the 4 inch mark. The cushion isn’t as cushiony as my version 8’s but not in a significant way. I’m more upset that I have to hunt for a different wide shoe. Maybe the Hoka’s will work. Although I read they are starting to run more narrow. New Balance, I love your shoes. Please make your wide shoes wide again.

I got this to replace a pair of the very same shoe but an older version. This pair fits a little differently. They have a big more cushioning, which makes me feel unstable, as with HOKAs. One of the tongues has a pulled thread as well. Not great quality control from NB.

Cute color!! Unfortunately the fit was off. There was too much fabric- the shoe bunched on the side.

They were about 1/2 size too large. Also, sole are wearing and I have only had shoes for a couple of weeks. Normal walk 10 miles per day.

I wish I could have kept have kept these NB but they hurt right below both ankles with the high area of the sneakers around the ankle area. I walked & walked inside my home & even added cotton balls above the the ankles while wearing the sneakers but the right sneaker continued to hurt. Otherwise the sneakers felt great in the toe area and arch. So I had to return them to Zappos.

About me: 5'5" 125lbs, usually wear an 8.5 running shoe across brands, flat and low volume foot with a narrow heel and wider forefoot. I wear running shoes for running, generally 3-4 miles per day. I wanted to keep these. They were comfortable on the foot and I loved the color. I am not a big fan of the stretchy mesh of newer running shoes, and these disappointed. They were WAY too stretchy. I had the laces extremely tight (low volume foot), and my foot still felt like it moved around too much. I got better support in the NB 880.

Love New Balance but these are more fitted/tight in the middle ( right where the N is), which I don’t find comfortable. The Fresh Foam X More v4 work. Wetter for me.

I love New Balance shoes but the Fresh Foam X 1080v11 had the “Heel Collar” that I really like. They now only have one model with that heel: the Fresh Foam Roav.

I love my old pair of Fresh Foam but this pair wasn’t as comfortable. The right show kept digging into my ankle. I wore it a few times to see if the shoe would adjust to my foot but they just didn’t. So I’ll be returning them.

This is a brighter color lavender than I was expecting. Picture makes it look more gray/white with a hint of lavender.

Agree with the review that says they look like clown shoes. I have bunions and wear wide shoes, but the platform of these flares out way too much from the midfoot. I guess if you only wear them for running and don't care what they look like, they might work for you. For me, I'm embarrassed to wear these in public.

Firstly, I would like to thank Zappos for their rapid help with this order. There had been a snafu with the computer order and they were very helpful. I really wanted to love these shoes. I have always worn a 10.5 in NB sneakers, but these were very wide and too large. They also actually looked a little like orthopedic shoes in the light blue. Sadly I will be returning them. I had so wanted to take them on vacation with me tomorrow.

The cushioning and support are great but the front of the shoe looks wider than it actually is. The toe box is fine but the shoe is actually rather narrow just behind the toe box and it squashes my foot and is uncomfortable, even though I ordered an extra wide. The previous v11 did not do that. Also, there is a bit of stretch overtop of your toes but not on the side, so they simply aren't wide enough to be comfortable for any period of time.

This is a great shoe; however, it's been worn. If Zappos wants to sell shoes that have been worn and returned, Zappos should state that the shoe IS NOT NEW and sell at a discounted price. I've bought 5 pairs of this shoe from Zappos and TWICE received WORN SHOES. (Oh, and if you should ask why I don't return the used shoes, my answer is that I am desperate for width 2N -- which New Balance is no longer making.)

I only wear New Balance shoes and ordered my normal size. Unfortunately the toe box on these are narrower and very uncomfortable. Perhaps it is the new fresh foam design as I ordered 2 different styles, but both were too narrow in the toe box. And the new foam design makes my feet look huge.

I ordered the women's wide, but it still felt narrow. Not sure I'd fix the problem with a larger size so I decided to return it.

I have always bought they 880 New Balance Fresh Foam in a 7.5. I had to go to a 6.5 with the 1080. I don't feel they are as comfortable as the 880 shoes.

Ran much bigger than the previous pair I bought in the same size.

I am so deeply disappointed. NB fresh foam had become my dream true. Wore my others out. Kept trying to replace them (they don't make the same model) and none work. Shoe looks the same but the sizing has been funky and that walking on clouds feeling is now like a concrete board, with no arch support. I'm switching brands sadly and hope NB gets their stuff together and brings back that very comfortable shoe. I would've bought it for life had they remained consistent :(
