It keeps ypur pants up--if you can get it adjusted. The end of the belt is too large for the holes in the buckle. It's a hassle to put the belt on, to adjust it and to take it off. Do better Arcterryx!

The belt feels good but started fraying where the belt was connected to the tab at the end. This was my first arc'teryx product, and I was rightfully skeptical of its value being at such a high price point. I have since moved to a less expensive, liter, and more durable belt that has had no issues.

I love Arc'teryx jackets and I bought this 2 weeks ago as a camping belt and it is so stiff and unflexible it's hard to get it tight. I'm hoping i can return it!

This belt looks good and will function as a fashion product, but is not great for "in the field" use. I would not like to use this with gloves and it needs two hands to apply any tension. The buckle is small for the end of the belt to pass through and once fed through needs a second adjustment to tighten.

I purchased this belt, and the buckle is far to small, it takes a mammoth effort to feed the belt through and it far too stiff. I purchased the black belt. It's a struggle to tighten the belt. Sorry Arc'teryx please redesign this and make it softer and easier to tighten up.

Well constructed but very difficult to use. Takes serious effort just to get the end into the 1st part of buckle and just as hard into 2 ND part. Not user friendly at all. Too bad cuz it's a nice looking belt if you can get it on. Also I have a 33 inch waist and the small fits better then me.

The old buckle was better and simpler to use. Also the old colours option was marvelous

I purchased the seventh conveyor belt and realised that sizes are all over the place now. M is said to fit all, regardless of the fact that while the previous ones were perfect, this last one has a loose end after buckling of over 26cm. The previous ones were size M and fit perfectly.

I took a gamble based on all the other reviews - which were spot-on. The label that comes with the belt says it is 43", the belt is actually 40.5", and website shows 41.7". All three could be right? At first, I ordered the medium last week. It showed up and wrapped about 1.5 times around my waist - holy cow, the thing was long. I looked at measurements for the small belt, measured my waist, returned the medium, and ordered the small. When it arrived, the small belt was more than an inch shorter than the website's advertised length and it was 2.5" shorter than the actual label on the belt. The lengths and sizes are all inconsistent, it really is a gamble finding one that is the exact measurement. If it's the exact measurement on the website, that's great...but it's not. If it's the exact measurement on the label, that's great...but it's not. If it was the exact measurement, I would have been happy with this. Unfortunately, I'm returning this one as well because of the inconsistent sizing. Alas.

Having bought other products and been very pleased, I read other reviews that noted the decline in quality of these belts with a little skepticism. However, this is some "genius" MBA brand manager taking two inches off the length and reducing the width and making the buckle something more suited for a child's doll as a brilliant idea to increase "profit." Wrong. This loses customers. They have lost me.

I bought one of these belts years ago and it was great. After several years of hard use, I decided that I needed a new one and was disappointed to find that the only updates they made were to make it cheaper and crapier.

I've had an Arcteryx Conveyor belt for nearly 10 years, it's battered but still functional, I thought I'd get a black one that would last another 10 but what arrived is nothing like my other belt, the buckle is cheap thin metal and much smaller, it's not attached in the same way either, the webbing is coarse and not stitched as well at the edges, the end of the belt is finished with a horrible piece of plastic instead of the shiny durable piece on my old belt. Incredible to see how the quality of this item has gone down and will make me think twice about buying Arcteryx products in future.

Zero Stars would be more appropriate in my opinion. This is the worse belt design of all time. Super stiff. End of belt is too big to easily fit through buckle. It's a STRUGGLE to put on, tighten down, and then take off. It's like no one tried this belt on at Arc'teryx before it was approved for production???If you ride a bike the belt will grind into your hip / stomach area. Really uncomfortable. As much as LOVE every one of my Atom jackets I equally dislike this belt. Sorry if the truth hurts Arc'teryx.

Really bad design, the belt is way to stiff and in combination with the buckle it is impossible to properly tighten and even the it takes too much force to unbuckle.

Awesome belt, horrible buckle! The buckle needs to be seen on 180 from where it is now. When diarrhea hits, it's a disaster to doff your drawers fast enough, because the buckle is on backwards! I have to say, however that the belt is great and does stay put. So I'm the end, avoid wearing this belt in Taco Tuesday.

I purchased a couple of these belts a few years ago and love them. I just purchased 2 more from the outlet store and they suck. The buckle has been change and not for the better. Also, I purchased 2 medium belts and one is 2 inches longer than the other. I'm now stuck with 2 belts I will probable never use and apparently all sales are final on the outlet store. I can't believe the lack of quality coming from Arc'teryx.

My bad for not reading these reviews before purchasing. As others have mentioned, the metal end of the belt is too big; it doesn't pass through the buckle opening without significant effort. If you like the idea of spending an extra 20 seconds each time you undo/re-do your belt, this'll do the trick. O/w, pass on this "belt"; it's just a non-functional length of cloth. I bought it on sale so my purchase was "final". Very disappointed in Arcteryx.

The webbing is way too stiff and does not seem to soften months after use, it's beyond annoying, when using it/adjusting. The belt end with the plastic cap does NOT actually fit through the buckle, you have to wrestle with, what a phaffff- how is that even possible Arc'teryx? Clearly nobody in the design dept tested it !!! Also tensioning it is very very fiddly. Another Arc'teryx "style over function" product. It's going in the bin as not fit for purpose. Very disappointed as it's a nice looking belt.

I bought a black Arcteryx Conveyor belt back in 2017 and was very happy with this belt. Recently I bought another Conveyor belt and was extremely disappointed with the new design. First of all they made them way too long. Probably to accommodate out of shape fashion consumers now that the brand has blown up. Secondly they changed the size of the buckle. It's very hard to put the end through the buckle and almost impossible to adjust to your desired tightness.
All in all I would not recommend this item.

I had a previous version of this belt and loved it and wanted a black version. The latest version is a smaller buckle and for some reason are different lengths than past versions. The Small I previously had was a perfect fit so I ordered that. The new one is not the same length as the previous version's small. So I returned it and got a Medium and that one is way too long. It's crazy that they would change the sizes. Now I need to find a new go to belt.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I have worn and loved the previous version of the Conveyor Belt for years. I was looking for a new color and read the claims that the redesign had goofy sizing. I ordered a size smaller than my old belt and it was a couple of inches shorter and too small to properly tighten. I then ordered the same size as my old belt and it is a couple of inches longer and has too much excess.

I bought this as looks smart, but absolutely not practical at all. Purchased to wear with fjallraven Vida pro pant but cannot get the belt to tighten properly. Plus the strap is way too long

The belt sizing is extremely odd. I am always a Men's Large, but this belt is 51" long and wraps around me 1.5 times. I would likely be a Men's Small, which would be the only article of clothing I own in this size.
The buckles are nice quality but there is a bulge when I put the belt through and it gradually comes loose.
Would highly recommend against purchasing this belt.

I have 2 of the old style in size medium and they are the correct length. Tried to buy the revision in canvas, size medium and it's way too long. I have a size 34 waist and can't wear either the small or medium belt. How do you make a belt that doesn't fit one of the most common waist sizes. I actually like the new buckle and design just majorly disappointed in the length and sizing.
